There are a moderate number of seats available, but the restaurant filled up quickly. Clean interior, basic decor. FOOD: Very limited menu, no alcohol. We ordered the ravioli and sage chicken. The ravioli was delicious with a nice cream sauce, we enjoyed the addition of the sun dried tomatoes. The chicken was also delicious, stuffed with a mixture which included sage to impart more sage flavor. The chicken dish was accompanied by a generous scoop of flavored rice and Brussels sprouts cooked with dried cranberries. OVERALL: We were very pleased with the meal and full afterwards. We celebrated our 10th anniversary at Duke's and what an excellent choice! The service was excellent and the food was incredibly delicious and artful. We had the crabmeat "boats" for an appetizer, which was a halved avocado (2 boats - one per half) overflowing with the crabmeat and jicama shreds, flavored with mango sauce, cayenne, and paprika. It was superb!!! My husband had their signature burger, which also had a delicious array of seasonings and mango sauce on a pretzel roll. I had their salmon, which was a generous slab of salmon accompanied by asparagus and roasted cauliflower (I opted to switch the potatoes for cauliflower). After finding ourselves "stuck" celebrating our 20th wedding anniversary at Duke's back in April of 2023 we now make special arrangements to stay at Desert Rose Resort & Cabins in Bluff at least three or four times during their open season. I would say if there is any bad review is that they are not open year round! Every single item on the menu, and we have had them all numerous different times, are all outstanding! The chef has taken flavors you would never expect, the Wild Mushroom Raviolis for example, and has created outstanding, one of a kind dishes that are always made with the outmost attention to detail. This is a Michelin Star worthy Chef hidden in Bluff, Utah. I promise if you make the trip not only is the scenery worth it, you will experience one of the best meals of your life. Great food for almost anywhere, but considering that you are in the middle of nowhere it is really surprising. The rolls were phenomenal. Seriously. Rolls. We had the salmon and the prime rib and both were good. They come with so many sides that you don't need to order an appetizer and we were too full for dessert. Dukrs was wonderful. We placed on our name on a waitlist and checked into our cabin on the premises. When we arrived at the restaurant we were attended quickly and even though it was close to closing, we didn't feel rushed. The food was wonderful and the presentation was a delight. Wow! I was so pleasantly surprised by Dukes. The food and service were top-notch. I expect there is no better dinner experience in a 100-mile radius. The servers were friendly and accommodated my particular requests. My wife had a Caprese, which had nice ripe tomatoes and some very savory balsamic. I had the avocado crab boat appitiser. It was simply scrumptious, and they did not scrimp on the crab. The appetisers were so big that we split the salmon entre. The salmon seemed fresh and had a nice crispy sear. Great Dinner spot in Bluff UT! Service, food and Atmosphere was excellent. We were fortunate to have excellent company during our dining experience which always elevates things. I wish they had a couple more options on their menu, but everything they do have appeared delicious based on our experience. 3 out of the 4 of us had the salmon and it was absolutely delicious, one in our party had the wild Mushroom Ravioli and it was also delicious. Service was friendly and very attentive. Nice ambiance - we sat inside, the outside patio looked great but it was a little too hot for us to sit out there. The food was amazing. The crab boat - crab salad in an avocado with a mango dressing with a hint of cayenne was out of this world - the best appetizer I've ever had and there were two served both were of good size, not at all skimpy. Great food (we all enjoyed), relaxing atmosphere and excellent service! Would gladly eat here again.

We were staying nearby and stopped in for dinner. Outside seating looked great but sun was going down and temps with it so we sat inside. Nice dining room but the lighting is stark, not very welcoming. It was also disappointing no alcohol served here, I like a glass of wine or a bourbon sometimes. Good menu but very small. 5 entrees to choose from. I had the salmon, it was a generous piece with good flavor but salty. Husband had the burger with just cheese but he barely ate it. Something about the seasoning of the meat he didn't like but he enjoyed the fries. Staff was very nice but doubt we will be back. read more

Such a diamond in the rough. Middle of nowhere, small town and this place pops up. I know it has to be hard to have survived the pandemic but yet they did and we were so happy about it. Really delicious food, great staff. I had the caprese salad and cauliflower soup one night and the next night, I had the salmon. Both excellent. This was one of the most pleasant surprises I have ever encountered in all my years of travel and it is located in a very small town that happens to be very convenient while visiting Southeast Utah and Canyonlands and Trail of the Ancients. The food was incredible and the service as well. Order the crab and artichoke appetizer and the wild mushroom ravioli. You can thank me later. One night stop at the Desert Rose Inn and Duke's is on the property. We went for convenience of a short walk and not sure what to expect. Limited menu but don't be fooled, the food is FANTASTIC!! Roasted Brussels sprouts for appetizer were very tasty. Dinner dishes - salad, wild mushroom raviolis, salmon, and a burger were nicely presented and delicious. Incredible food and friendly staff at a gorgeous location. I can't imagine getting something here I didn't love. Wouldn't imagine ordering deviled eggs out, but the pickled onion and lemon zest make the dish. The jicama tacos user a paper thin slice of jicama to transport perfectly seasoned beef. The mahi mahi with poblano cream was excellent. The mango puree really makes the burger unique. The Brussels sprouts and cauliflower were perfectly prepared and flavorful. read more

They were the only open place in town tonight. I will NOT recommend the NY strip. My wife was happy with the burger and fries. The service is super friendly but they are short staffed and much of their seating is closed because of it. Such wonderful food & service. We came in after a long day at Mesa Verde Park. Our family of four had salads, ribeye, & sage chicken. Everything was wonderful and staff was so friendly & helpful. Sadly we have to leave before breakfast opens to make tour at 8AM over hour away. They offered muffins made this morning which is great. OMG! The food was amazing! We were the only ones in the restaurant first thing on a Wednesday evening. We ordered the sage infused chicken, the salmon, and the rib eye steak. Every dish and sides were exceptional. Did not expect to find such fine food in such a small town. I've had good food in five star restaurants that didn't taste this great and were way more expensive. We finished off the meal with blueberry cheesecake, chocolate mousse, and coffee all of which were as great as the entrees. I've got to get the recipe for the fig reduction sauce with the ribeye - truly delicious! The staff was amazing and friendly too. Would love to come here again but we are from Washington. read more

Note that no alcoholic drinks are served but this was great for me because I can't take alcohol so I enjoyed the nonalcoholic beers. We had breakfast 2x here and dinner - all meals were good.
