Great, Professional Customer Service from the very beginning. My Girlfriend bought her car from here two years ago and never had an issue (or a check engine light) on her used VW Jetta so she really wanted me to look at this place where she had such a good experience prior. Went on a Saturday and they were really busy but that didn't stop them from finding someone to take care of us right away (we did not even call ahead). They let us check out the pre-finished/serviced vehicles first in case there was something there that caught our eye. Throughout our time there, they had no issue in letting us test drive 3 vehicles. At the end of the day, we chose the beautiful 2016 VW Passat SE to take home with no pressure from the salesmen who they do not pay commission (which will not allow them to pressure you for the higher priced decision). We felt very comfortable throughout the whole process. Lounge area was very comfortable as well, complete with FREE soda, snacks and subs. Our experience here was one of a kind and you will have to look HARD to find anywhere else. Summary: -NO PRESSURE SALES -You can view the lot unbothered! -Salesmen are not paid on commission -Clean, comfortable lounging area complete with free snacks and soda read more

Bought a used 2024 Chevrolet Colorado Pick Up from Twin Pine. Caleb was my salesman he did a great job worked out a good trade in price for my vehicle. New pick up was cleaned up well for delivery. From experience their service dept is excellent. This is the 4th vehicle we bought from Twin Pine, we would not go anywhere else. Thank You Twin Pine read more

The sales department is wonderful, I've bought 7 vehicles from them over the past several years, but the service department is AWFUL. I had a car inspected there last year and when they put the wheel back on, they over tightened the lug nut and bent something inside the wheel. This caused the wheel to shake when driving and it exploded and left me stranded on the highway. I gave them a second chance and let them inspect my new car last week, and asked that they also check my drivers front tire because I need to add air to it every two or three days. They couldn't find anything wrong with it and told me to keep driving on it and just monitor it. I knew something was wrong so I took it to a tire place to get checked and they found a NAIL in it. How does a service department in a dealership miss a NAIL. I have no mechanical knowledge and knew something was wrong. That service department is a circus. Do not let them touch your vehicle. They have lost my business forever, I will never purchase another vehicle from them. read more

Did not disclose battery limited by software only getting 160 miles estimated range vs 259 on 2020 Chevy Bolt EV. They told me all recalls completed, sorry NOT the case. Sold me a car with an ongoing active recall. Chevrolet explicitly asking dealers to disclose this. AVOID AVOID AVOID. read more

Purchased a vehicle from them and needed support after the fact. No one will return my calls. Sometimes, voicemail boxes are full. The only contact email is for sales department. At least when a salesperson makes commission, they are interested in customer service for repeat or referral business. These people do not care at all! I have been trying to reach someone off and on for months! I would never buy another vehicle from Twin Pines because of this (and I was going to before this total disregard). read more

Terrible service department. Take the car in for one thing, they break something else and then blame you for it and want you to pay out of pocket for their incompetence. Dirty dealer avoid. read more

Good prices, but not worth the hassle of dealing with incompetent individuals. On their website, they quoted me at an interest rate of around 4percent. When I was going through the finalization process, they produced a paper with a percentage over 7, regardless of my 800+ credit score, and said that was they best they could do. Push, push, and push the extended warranty. I asked for two things to be done to the truck before I arrived to pick it up. A full tank of gas, and floor mats for the backseat, as they were missing. Neither were fulfilled. Finally, it's been three months since I've purchased, and still have not been reimbursed for the 8% that was held in escrow. I've sent an email more than a week ago, that still has not been answered, so my next email will be to the BBB. Deal with your local dealerships, they actually care about the customer, not just making a sale. read more

TLDR Highlights - Surface scratches hidden by buffer job - Immediate electrical problems - Upsold unnecessary warranty - Extremely rude management It's been about 18 months since I purchased by 2011 IS350 FSPORT from Twin Pine and I have to say I'm overall pretty dissatisfied. I traveled 6 hours from out of state to Twin Pine. I was extremely excited about this car. The first red flag was when I arrived, I noticed the list stating 19in wheels but, the car only had 18 inches. Explaining this to the sales rep he stated I was correct and he would talk to management. He went into the back room and you can hear from over the top of the walls. I heard management say extremely loud and rudely express that it "was a typo" and I could "go home if I didn't want it." I drove 6 hours and I loved the car, I certainly wasn't going to go home over 1in wheels. I simply wanted a minor price adjustment for incorrect listing. Going home, the next day of their polish and detailing job had worn off. And there were surface scratches EVERYWHERE. You can tell the previous owner has a dog. The inside center console has little scratches as well. And hair in the flaps of the velcro. Then all of a sudden my heated seats starting shorting out. Lexus expressed it was not covered under warranty. This is because they believe that someone spilled coffee all over the console. As there was large amounts of gunk and hair covering the electrical and space when they pulled off the button. As well as my clock buttons, I couldn't change the clocks. Easily a 1,000 dollar repair for both parts. As a first time car buyer, I never experienced signing so much paper work. This is where they took advantage to slap on their "warranty." I initially expressed no interest because it was not a bumper to bumper I stated. The person processing my sale expressed to me it was a bumper to bumper. She immediately had my interest and it seemed like a fair price, so I purchased it. Fast forward to today, I went to use that warranty. It is clearly NOT a true bumper to bumper. I purchased their high-tech plan. Which is powertrain + a few goodies like electrical and AC. And the best part. I was still under factory warranty for most of my "extended" warranty. So it has had very minimal use to me. Which of course they neglected to say. read more

When you go to Twin Pine Ford ask for John Bryan. He is a good salesman and a great person. He helped me purchase my dream Toyota 4 Runner. This dealership has a no hassle pricing system which at first I did not believe in but have no problem with it now. These cars are fairly priced and immaculate. Or as they use to call them "cream puffs". They have a professional photographer take the photos of there cars not some salesman with a cell phone without cleaning the car(like other dealerships) The purchase was the smoothest car/truck sale that I have ever done and I am 62; from John Bryan to Angie in Finance. Before I knew it I was ringing the Twin Pine's bell in there showroom symbolic of a new car sale and they told me that I was good at it. Haha. Twin Pine Ford likes to take a photo of you and your family in front of the car dealership on the main road. While this is happening 18 wheelers, cars and trucks are honking there horns celebrating your purchase. Pretty cool. It seems like the whole town of Ephrata was cheering you on. Anyway thanks to John, Twin Pine Ford and everyone else that helped. First class. Oh yeah I forgot "LETS GO FLYERS". Gary G. read more

Bought a used Hyundai from them in 2020 after I wrecked my Toyota. Price was ok but I don't like the "no haggling" approach. Bought an extended bump to bumper warranty with it. Salesman told me I was supposed to get some free lube and oil changes. Scheduled a visit to have front end alignment and lube/oil. Needed a loaner car. Got a Ford which I had for 1&1/2 days. Took the car home and put it in my garage. Next day returned the Ford with one stop off for allergy shots. Drove straight to dealership where they promptly "discovered" new damage to their Ford. Somehow there was new damage to driver rear and passenger front to the tune of over $2000. I then went to retrieve my car and discovered not only was the LOC not free but more than I could have had it done locally. Within a day or so I was getting called by dealership wanting to know when I was going to pay for the damage I never caused. I called my insurance agent and explained what they were claiming and she was nice enough to call them on my behalf. Suddenly my bill was now $1100 because they coincided the front passenger damage "may have already been there." I had to file a claim on my wrecked car so I was afraid if I had to file a new claim, I would be dropped. So I ended up paying the money for fear of having to get high risk insurance. To then add insult to injury, I called while at the Hyundai dealership for a recall. I asked them to see why my brakes were so shaky. They recommend to have my rotors regrounded. I called Twin Pine when I had the diagnosis per their instructions to submit a claim on my warranty. Guess what I was told? That despite my warranty was called "bumper to bumper" that this wasn't covered because this was considered "wear and tear." I've had the car for a little over a year and put about 9,000 miles on it. Is it normal after buying a car from a dealership to need to have the rotors regrounded after a year? WILL NEVER BUY FROM THESE CROOKS AGAIN!!! read more

I have purchased from Twin Pines over 5years ago, when the dealership was much smaller. The experience was positive. I recently returned and didn't feel the same connection as they had a much stronger sales approach, and less customer service oriented. I was told they don't accept deposits to hold cars, the car is as is, and they won't repair any surface scratches and such. Personally, I felt uneasy. The prices under cut other dealers so although the approach seems customer-sided, I didn't care for their sales model. I prefer a smaller dealership feel with a more personable approach. Dealership grew too fast and they lost something along the way. read more

I live in NJ but was looking for cars in PA to avoid the higher fees that are charger in NJ. It was extremely worth the trip! The facility is large and gorgeous, the car lot is spacious, and all the cars are kept in great condition. The staff pulled around the vehicles I was interested in super quickly for a test drive and I was able to buy a car and drive it home that night. They even stayed past closing time to make sure the deal was done correctly. Shout out to Derek and Steve for their great work, and the Twin Pine team for a perfect experience. My husband and I were looking for a sedan or small SUV. We wanted to buy Honda or a Toyota. Searched online at couple of local dealerships, and stumbled upon Twin Pine Auto's ads in KBB.com website. I noticed they have over 20 units of RAVs, so we decided to go there. Twin Pine is located on the country side (Lancaster county). We had a pleasant 35 minutes drive from Harrisburg to Ephrata, PA in Fall with the leaves changing colors, etc. I called a day before to make sure it was not an error for them to have that many of RAVs, not being a Toyota dealer. The salesman I spoke to, Wyatt, said they do have more than 30 units of RAVs available for sale. Wyatt was courteous, accomodating, and prompt in helping us find our car. We test drove 3 other RAVs before buying the one we have. They have a no-haggle pricing policy, yet, still, we wished price could have been lowered a little bit. We went buying the car with financing already in hand, although they did try to find better financing for us (in the end, we still use our own financing from local credit union). We didn't trade anything, so unable to comment on how fair the trade-in value would be. Overall, we had a pleasant buying experience. read more

I hardly ever write reviews but felt compelled to do so in this case. I purchased a 2015 GMC Acadia Denali for about $32,000 and after 6 days and less than 140 miles the battery dies. When I called them, they would offer no help in replacing the battery and told me the suv was sold "as is." They did want to charge me $200 for a new battery though. I really question the inspections they do before a car is sold and am shocked that they don't care about the customer and the experience in buying a car through them. Needless to say I will never be buying another car there and want to warn people about the lack of customer service if any. read more

I was very satisfied with this dealerships. They offered a fair trade of my old car and also had the car I was looking at quite a bit cheaper than we had seen any place else, along with that they also worked extremely hard to get my monthly payments where I wanted/needed them to be. Every member that we were introduced to was very kind and helpful with everything we needed. And unlike most other dealerships we have gone to in the past, they had a very cozy lounge area downstairs. After the bank was chosen for the loan, the rest of our business with them went extremely quick! Next time we need a new car, we'll be sure to check them out again. I'm so glad I found them! read more

Worse Dealership ever I drove 1 hour and 15 min thinking I would save some money purchasing a car but NO I ended up paying more I traded a car that was worth at least $6,000. but only got $4,400. then was offer an extended warranty which I said ok but was never told I couldn't cancel it The paper work was done in a rush it was almost time for then to close, the table that they used to sign the paperwork was about to die 5% so I was rush to signing everything and was not able to read everything at the end I ask for all the paperwork and was told it would be send to me in an email I was so confused because he never explain the breakdown of what I am paying I didn't know the total amount of the loan but when i finally got the papers in the email I saw the breakdown and charges so I decided I want to cancel the warranty So I called the finance agent Wyatt Zong he said no you can not cancel it I ask why he said is the paper you sign the second page on the table that you signed I said to him but you didn't explain that to me he also said all the paperwork is done and sent to the bank so I called the bank they told me we don't have any account for a loan with us which means they haven't process the paperwork I am sure they can make an exception about canceling the warranty since I wasn't informed I am very upset and will make sure everyone knows please stay away from this Dealer to save you the headaches. read more

3 words: Bait and Switch... I found a great deal for the car I've been looking for at this facility, listed on CarGuru. I contacted the dealership about the listing and set a time to come in. The dealership was an hour away so I called in the morning to confirm the price and everything was set. Before leaving, I called again and found out the sales man I spoke to previously had left for the day. I was ok with working with someone else as long as I got the arranged price. I drove 45 minutes before receiving a call from the new sales person who told me that the price had gone up by 1k and he would not negotiate... this experience was a waste of time. read more

Rude and unprofessional business practices. Promised to have car ready and then called to tell car sold after already scheduled to pick up car. I never write reviews. But I had such a bad experience with Twin Pine Ford I just felt that I had to. During the sale they were my best friend of course after I found them to be elusive and unprofessional , they did not stand behind their product they left me hanging with a purchased vehicle from their lot with repairs that they would not finish or said they could not repair They also took advantage of me on a general service , I guess they thought I would not check if they did the work or not Well I caught them !! I paid for work to be performed and they did not do it !!! they also did not tell me they didn't do it I found out they didn't do it by having marks on parts on my vehicle I paid for a Service in which they did not perform !!!! They also lost parts from my vehicle which they said they never removed which was a lie because they changed my cabin air filter and had to remove my cowl to do so , then they lost my fasteners that held the cowl in place when I was driving home my cowl started blowing around I thought it was going to fly off the car I ended up having to pay shipping to replace the fasteners so I could refasten the cowl I can not believe this is a Ford dealer The corporation should be ashamed !!!!! I will never buy another vehicle from Twin pine Ford And no one in my family either read more

This was our first experience with this auto sales company, but we were greeted quickly on a very busy Saturday. There was no pressure in purchasing the car, but our sales person, Brock, was very helpful. We felt the prices were good, and we had good service. Not that this would sway a decision, but during a short wait for a finance person, we sat in a comfy lounge and were offered sandwiches, chips, and water, which I appreciate as going above and beyond expectation. read more

Thanks service department for wasting an hour of my day. We bought our car from here back in January and had a pleasant experience. We were told that now as members of the Twin Pine family, our inspection would be on the house. (We would still pay for emissions.) We normally go to our mechanic for this service but decided to take advantage of the free inspection and drove the half-hour to get here by 9:00 am. I was at the service desk by 9:05. The man who took my information said he just needed to pull a few numbers from my car and then he would get me in the system. Okay. So we sit down. About a half hour later, at 9:40, another man comes to tell me that they are now going to start on my car and it will take an hour and a half. I said, "Wait, this is a wait appt. I made that clear when I scheduled it. Now you're telling me I have to wait an additional 90 minutes after already being here for over half an hour? For an inspection?" He then shows me on the paper that my check-in was at 9:19. Um, nope. That more than likely was due to your service tech taking his time about getting whatever further info he needed from the car before getting me in the system. "Is there anything we can do? I can't do anything about the wait." Can you get me the last hour of my life back since it was wasted driving here only to be told an inspection/emissions was going to take an inordinate amount of time?? No thank you. We will continue to use our guy, who is excellent and we don't mind paying the full price, rather than waste time (and probably more money since as a dealership they would probably tell me that to pass inspection, I would need tires or brakes or new wiper blades, anything to inflate the bill). I was also especially offended that he tried to argue with me regarding my arrival time as if I was a little girl arguing with her dad about a curfew. As a woman of color, I have to put up with behavior like this more than usual, so regardless of his intent, it was unappreciated. Stay away from this place. Believe the other reviews. It used to be nice but now it is tanking. read more

Almost immediately after walking into this dealership I was approached by a salesman with $$$ in his eyes. I expressed interest in a specific truck to which I was allowed to test drive it (with him riding escort). It felt more like a driver's examination as my attempt at small talk was returned with little banter except for "turn right. turn left". After returning to the dealership I was subjected to the requisite BS. 1.) Our cars are the best, all other used cars suck. 2.) We only make $200 over what we paid for the car (in a dealership that only sells 2 cars a day, I wonder how they can afford to pay the 15 salespeople who seemingly trip over each other) 3.) "what hidden fee's? no hidden fee's, look over there, it's a Jackelope!!!" want some coffee, did you see our Keurig???" 4.) waited 20 minutes while he pretended to strong arm his manager. The positive reviews you see on this place are either what the 15 salesmen do all day long, or idiots who were blinded by the Keurig machine and didn't realize they were getting ripped by the "no haggle" policy. read more

I would not recommend this dealership to any of my family or friends. They sold us a vehicle and within 5 days the check engine light came on. I have a family and I didn't want to keep the car esp. for how much we paid for it. When we went to purchase another car we ended up spending 2,000 more for a car that was $600 less plus a $500 previous trade-in. The salesperson made it seem I would only be losing less than $1,000 and when it was all said and done we lost about $3,500. The manager never came out and explained how he came to the numbers, just had his sales person explain. Very disappointed. read more

I went to Twin Pines on June 26th with a specific car in mind. The sales person I dealt with was very nice. While working out details with him, another employee drove my vehicle to decide what they would offer for a trade-in value. When I pulled in the lot, my vehicle was in working (not perfect) order. I had left Firestone 3 hours prior, and my vehicle was running and driving fine. When I left the lot in my vehicle, I noticed IMMEDIATELY that my brakes weren't working properly. In retrospect, I should have turned around and walked right back into the office, but my number one concern was how I was going to get myself and my two young kids the hour drive home. The longer I drove, the worse they got until eventually my brake light came on, about 10 minutes down the road. I tried to call Twin Pines to speak with someone, but by that time, they were closed and no one answered the phone. I managed to get to Advanced Auto by using my emergency brake. I popped the hood, and saw immediately that I had no brake fluid. Went in, bought some, filled it up, and watched it all drain out of my ripped front passenger brake line. I had my car towed to Firestoneas it wasn't safe to drive. First thing the following morning, I called and asked to speak with whoever had driven my car the night before. The gentleman who answered the phone asked who was calling, and if I had the small SUV. I said yes, and went on to explain what happened. He completely dismissed everything I said. My main points are: 1) My brakes and car were in functioning order when I pulled in. Then their employee drove my vehicle and it no longer functioned properly when I tried to leave. 2) Firestone is not legally allowed to let me leave with a vehicle that wouldn't pass inspection. Also, I've been going there for over 3 years, and they know both me and my children by name. They would NEVER let me leave in a vehicle that wasn't safe. 3) The gentleman on the phone said that the person that drove my car never even took it on the road, which is a blatant lie. I saw, with my own two eyes, my car turn onto Main Street. The gentleman on the phone had nothing to say other than, "That would never happen here. Those aren't our business practices" and was completely dismissive of the very valid points I made. Buyer beware.... read more

My wife and I purchased a 2009 Nissan Maxima in October of 2013 and absolutely love the car. Our salesperson Jon was very pleasant, attentive and knowledgeable about our car. If he didn't have the answer he found it within minutes. The staff was courteous and friendly throughout our whole experience. The finance department was able to find a great interest rate for us and that was important. The available extended warranty was certainly a fair deal as well which made us feel comfortable buying used. My wife and I bought both our vehicles here at Twin Pine Auto Group. We found our cars online called in and made an appointment with Derek. When we arrived Derek had both cars ready for us to take for a test drive. This place is located a little in the country but easy to find we asked for directions just to make sure. After test driving our vehicles we decided we were ready to go ahead and Derek got our paperwork ready. Angie the finance lady got us really good rates and had us in and out in no time. The prices are no haggle and they mean it.... And the prices are great though so really no need to try anyway. Trust me we did plenty of research and they had great prices. We really did not realize how much inventory they have until we showed up. The place is huge with lots of cars to choose from. Everyone we dealt with was courteous and no one was pushy. They even have a cool lounge in the basement with TV, snacks, toys for kids etc. really enjoyed the lounge. If looking for a good place to do business our experience was a positive one. We were very disappointed with this place. They wrote up a purchase order for a car that we were interested in buying. We went to a bank the next day where they approved our loan and issued a check for the car. I told Twin Pine that I would bring it in the following morning to which they agreed. We got a call that the car was sold the previous day on the morning that we planned to drop off the check. We never were called about this until it was too late. We didn't want to finance through Twin Pine or want any add ons, such as their warranty or gap insurance. We suspect that they didn't hold the car one day because we refused these extras where they make a lot more money. It worked out in our favor in the end because we got a much nicer car elsewhere and dealt with a place who treated us more professionally and with respect. It was a learning experience for sure! Beware that you are not seeing an apples to apples comparison on how they value their vehicle vs. your vehicle. I just left the dealership more than a little insulted by the offer for my trade. The sales person I dealt with was very friendly and professional, and the SUV I looked at was priced fairly and in great condition. Those are the positives. The negative was in the shady way they work their numbers. They showed me the Kelley Blue Book value for their car which of course was a higher number than they were asking, but then showed me the "autotrader" wholesale number for my trade instead of using the same Kelley Blue Book source they used to find the price for their car (i.e. not a fair comparison). The KBB trade in value for my car was $4,000 - $5,000 higher than the number they quoted via autotrader. When I questioned why they wouldn't use the same source for both numbers I was given a canned answer about "price over the block" but then the salesman admitted that it was a beautiful trade (pristine condition with low milage by the way) and was actually worth $6,000 more than what they were offering. I'd suggest you stay away from Twin Pine unless you are doing a cash only deal. read more

We just bought our third vehicle in five months from Twin Pine Auto. Even though it is a 1.5 hour drive away, I would not even consider buying a used vehicle from anywhere else. They have a huge selection and every vehicle I have ever looked at there has been in immaculate condition. The salesmen are the epitome of professionalism, as well as being quite personable. The finance people answer every question you may have, and walk you through the process in a seamless fashion. We now own a 2013 Civic, 2014 Escape and 2016 Town and Country. We have been completely satisfied with each one of them and all were prepped to the highest level. The buying process is as smooth as can be. You, as a customer, are made to feel welcomed and valued. I contacted this dealership, Twin Pine Auto Group located at 1928 W. Main St., Ephrata, PA 17522, about a 2012 Mini Cooper that I originally found on Car Gurus. The dealership is about an hour and a half away so we needed to have everything agreed upon before getting to the dealership. I will say, the attitude of dealership IMMEDIATELY WAS not in the best interest of me, the customer. I had quoted a price from the Internet they had posted. They seemed annoyed? It was if they acted like they didn't want my business! They mentioned that the price online was extremely low to begin but they guess they would honor the price. The reason why I even mention this is because I felt like they didn't want to sell the car to me. They mentioned numerous, numerous times that they could get more for the car from someone else. Regardless, we agreed on the terms for this vehicle site unseen and sent check overnight to them. (We did our due diligence and homework on the Mini Cooper and paid for a Car Fax report. They wouldn't provide one and told me I would have to go online and purchase one myself. They did tell me to go online and find their Auto Check report which isn't the same! They gave us the address where to send the check and wanted to confirm where to send the buyer's order. We were paying for the car in its entirety and for the price they agreed upon -in full! The last text I received was from Salesman, Jon Horst; "I will let you know we the check clears" Needless to say; first thing the very next morning I received a text from Jon :"I'm sorry Catherine but we sold the car this morning and we will be sending you back your check." I responded "That isn't cool at all I thought we had a deal ?" This isn't how a reputable business does business" he replied "I told you several times that we do not hold vehicles. We would have pulled it off the lot when we received payment." --- THIS IS NOT COOL!! we weren't having the car held - we were purchasing it for the entire amount that they agreed upon! I originally was working with one salesman then the finance manager (we decided NOT to finance due to a much higher interest rate than what Is currently being offered for the area) and then was working with Jon. This entire transaction went on for days with numerous phone calls and many texts. Bottom line : -We agreed to a price -They accepted it -They asked for payment and where to send payment - We sent the check per their instructions -They sold the car to someone else Clearly this isn't a reputable dealership. They don't stand by their word AT ALL . With that said; you would think that being located in the Lancaster PA region their professionalism and ethical standards would mirror the area and mirror all their many MANY competitors. Think twice before doing business with this dealership! Everyone should know how Twin Pine Auto Group treats their customers! There are far too many reputable dealerships with higher standards and practices. read more
