The park is located in the Rolling Ridge Estates in Murphy, Texas 75094. Given the size, location and the fact that it was built as a neighborhood park this is not a place you want to load up your kids and dogs and drive 30 minutes fighting DFW traffic to come see and spend time at. Don't get me wrong... this is an absolute great park deserving of the five star rating I have given it but it is a park for the local community and service people for the neighborhood. As a Murphy Texas dog walker I love the park and it is perfect for dog walkers and pet owners. It would also be great for baby sitters or children care-takers that are providing services to one of the homes in the neighborhoods. Absolutely, the neighborhood community should be spending some quality time here. If you are considering buying a house in the DFW area you should factor in your buying equation this awesome park. But, with all that being said, it is primarily an awesome local neighborhood resource. Love the large pavilion with multiple picnic table, bbq grill and electric outlets. Plenty of benches well placed by the water and along the .38 mile walking path which surrounds the park. An awesome walking path for your fur babies of all ages and sizes. It has two shaded playgrounds (a must when dealing with the Texas summer sun), an open swing set, a rocker, baby swing set and two water drinking fountains. The pond is beautiful and fishing makes for a good way to pass the time of day here. Be sure to check out the photographs as they paint a much better picture of this park than I do. If you are in the neighborhood you owe it to yourself to check it out and spend some time here.

In short, it is a great neighborhood park in the 75094 zip code area. It was updated and improved in 2010. The park has a brick gazebo pavilion with four 8-foot long picnic tables, a large BBQ grill and electric outlets. Be sure to check out the shaded playground area, sandy volleyball court, drinking water fountain, 31 trees, basketball court and lots of benches scattered around and one picnic table by the volleyball court. For dog walkers like myself, bikers, joggers and fur baby owners there is a 0.2 mile cement trail loop for lots of fun and exercise. Thinking about moving to the Aviary Subdivision in Murphy, Texas? I have seen some weird reviews on this place , and today we had the opportunity to interface with a…read morefemale staff member who came to our house to rescue an injured Mississippi kite, a small, social raptor that was probably suffering from heat issues . The woman told us what species , that the bird was almost adult as she was putting on her gloves . As he began to skirt away from her , she gingerly scooped him up and began to talk to and examine him . Those of you who visit the center and have the nerve to complain about the staff should have seen this woman ! They are there to handle and help heal and relocate these majestic but dangerous animals . I'm not going to judge her ppl skills after seeing her handle this animal . She then told us the rodents and insects that this bird consumes , and when we said we are all about lowering the rat and insect population. , she said that she could relocate him back to our neighborhood . We told her that would be awesome . These ppl are specialized animal ppl who do their jobs very PROFESSIONALLY ! Very positive experience here in Plano Whiffletree ...thank you so much !

I contacted them and they said they have the right to refuse service and restrict where a SD can go. I asked if someone had a Guide Dog would you stop them and she said yes! When told that was illegal, the woman said that they are ADA compliant. I told her that she's in violation and she said they have their rules and it overrides the law!!
