I always enjoy coming here. Especially when I want to get my Japanese sushi/ roll fix. A few plates of that and I then venture into the 3 rows of food selections from American like pizza to Chinese with some Thai and some Vietnamese in there too. Very disappointed. We have been going to Twin Dragons for years, but in the past several years we have seen the selection choices reduced considerably and the quality of choices not nearly as good as in years past. So sorry to see this happening to what used to be a good buffet. read more

Sad to downgrade our ratings for this long-running Chinese buffet. We've been coming here for a few times most years over a 20-year period, and this is the least agreeable experience ever. What's gone wrong? A lot, unfortunately. The selections have diminished; much less variety of dishes than we can ever recall. The quality of the food seems to have gone downhill; too many selections were lukewarm and bland to the taste. We've usually liked our servers, some of whom have been here for decades, we believe, but there were fewer of them and they seemed more harried and less friendly. And we missed the sushi since we could find only rolls at the sushi counter. Prices are up very slightly, not unexpected, but given the overall dining experience it's not a good deal any longer. Sad. This place would only be getting one star except for the staff. They are super friendly...otherwise not recommended at all. Sesame chicken and cheesy crab dip super salty. Curry chicken so mushy. Amazing Buffet with Great Service and Value Two years ago for our 50th HS Reunion, we had our dinner here and it was great. You can read the original review also. Since then, we have tried to meet once a year to at least get together and renew old friendships and relive memories. This year we were suppose to meet but our plans got delayed due to a Hurricane named Florence. Ended up delaying it for a week and since some people could not change plans, turnout was a little less than normal. We were seated in the same dining room as before and the service was outstanding. The Buffet was great two years ago and maybe my memories is failing but it has only gotten better. I do not remember oysters on the half shell or crayfish from two years ago along with more American style items for those who do not appreciate Chinese or Japanese. We definitely stop here each and every year we're up in North Carolina. It's by far the best Chinese buffet around... well, in our experience it's the only one. We've even brought the entire family here for Father's Day - it's that much a favorite. This is your typical (to this urban buffet connoisseur) large-scale Chinese Buffet. There are tons of pre-made dishes as well as pizza and chicken nuggets for the kids. There are some interesting local specialties (gizzards) and maybe some stuff to avoid (salmon swimming in mystery liquid), but stick to the Chinese basics and you'll be great. Heck, the regular Chinese buffet isn't even where this place shines: 1. Sushi - they have some REALLY good rolls here all the time, and many with eal and real fish in them, not just California rolls and krab 2. Hibachi - want raw food cooked up fresh for you? They have this too and they do a great job with it! 3. Ice Cream - they have a freezer with 6-8 containers of real scoop your own ice cream! This is not soft serve, this is the real deal. And they have a whole slew of sauces and toppings to put on your make your own sundae! Price: very good for what you get. Heck the last time we went with a 2 and 4 year old, my wife and I got out for under $25. We all had plenty of our individual favorites and ate our fill of delicious ice creams when we were done. To bad what the Covid epidemic did to all businesses, but since this economic downturn, this restaurant suffered terribly. It was always packed with customers, but such a downturn. Economic conditions have impacted everyone, but this restaurant is trying so hard to preserve there reputation. It's still a nice and welcoming place. But what this place really needs is a new presentation of food. New selection and the outdoor parking lot needs attention to the landscape and gardens. I drove almost an hour to eat there. Service was horrible. Arrived at 7:15 and was told to hurry because they close at 8. At:30 after ordering hibachi and sushi was told that I needed to go ahead and get buffet because they do not restock and close everything at 7:30. So I did as requested. At 7:45 an overwhelming smell of the cleaner fabuloso was so pungent that my actual nose started burning. All while I'm trying to consume food. After I filed a complaint I was told I could leave and be reimbursed. Only reimbursed $27 out of my total Bill being $57.59 +. $10.00 tip. $5 to hibachi and $5 to sushi tip jar. After my complaint was followed to my car by 3 individuals. Who then took a picture of my license plate. I then pulled out of the parking lot and pulled back in to return the favor of the stalking individuals and proceeded to take pictures of their license plates for my own safety. To then be harassed by their local police department Brevard! I was contacted thrice. Spoke to three individual police officers/official individuals about the circumstances. To be laughed at by the female lieutenant, the highest ranking individual on duty. Apparently she found it funny when I remarked that her fellow officer was following me from said location to where I pulled over to compose myself after such a horrific incident. Then the follow up call from communications representative 1441. Refused to state their name!!! That's our law enforcement. People supposed to support injustice and protect!!! And the third call when I wanted to complain was redirected and told I'd have to call back Monday. It's Friday!!! WOW just WOW! So be careful out there in Brevard! No one is willing to help! We have been going to Twin Dragons Restaurant since 2006. It used to be a Great Grand Buffet. It was clean the food was hot it was as I said Great. Now it's May 5th, 2023, and we have been there twice in the last 2 months or so. Today was the worst. There was food all over the floors, our table was nasty, the waitress served me hot tea that was like expresso (you can't tell me she didn't notice) my husband ordered sweet and got unsweetened, the food all tastes the same and not much to choose from. They still don't have all the food bars running. It is expensive too. Sad to say I wouldn't recommend this restaurant to anyone, and We won't be going back. read more

As far as all you can eat Chinese Buffets go, this place takes the cake. It's huge with 5 full lines of food. Plus, a hibachi, sushi & ice cream area. Of course, it's not organic, but they actually have an impressive sals bar with raw spinach, a delicious kale salad & other raw vegetables. So it would be easy to eat vegetarian or raw here. Not worth the drive to Brevard. Definitely not worth $14 for the buffet which was pretty damn skimpy compared to how it was a few years ago. Noticeably absent were traditional Chinese dishes like orange chicken and general tso's chicken or pepper chicken but they did have a little bit of shrimp offering which was overcooked. Only two tables of entrees and everything else was either American food like pizza or salad or dessert. Stopped by on a recent Sunday and it was mobbed but we were seated immediately and told to head to the buffet tables. There are 4 huge tables filled with almost everything you can imagine, soups were fresh and tasty, seafood stir fries excellent, even spring rolls and crab rangoons were very good. What is most alluring is the homemade Kimchi! It is truly the best I've ever tasted and they have a real sushi chef! I watched him work and he is very articulate with his sushi. He makes the Kimchi. In addition to the magnetism of the kimchi, the buffet is reasonably priced. While the options are abundant and some typical of buffets, this restaurant stands out for its quality, presentation and service in my opinion. It also offers some other non-traditional food options including oysters, fried zucchini, kale and Caesar salads. The staff was very rude the last time I went. I had a party of 8 people. All 8 people disliked the food because it was cold or past the 4 hour expectation on the buffet. The closing staff was very rude and did the littlest to make sure everything was good and then complained when several repeatedly asked for to go cups!
