Fried wontons

Another great meal at One More Thai-- our favorite after church lunch spot in Brevard. Great service, tasty food and priced reasonably!

Spicy basil noodles with beef.

Food, Services, Ambiance all were EXCELLENT!!! We both Tom Kha Soup one with tofu and the other chicken, both delicious. Entrees Spicy basil noodle with beef and I had pork belly pig with fried egg on top of jasmine rice. I forgot the name of the dish but the sauce and colorful veggies were all super flavorful. This will be our choice of Thai restaurant whenever we come to Brevard. We live in Sapphire

Frozen dumpling, not home made. $12!

Overpriced and bad food. We went by the Google review of 4.7. What a lie. The food is not authentic and it's frozen stuff they heat up. The wonton soup consists of frozen potstickers in chicken broth. It's the same frozen potstickers they serve as an appetizer. What a joke. The cost for 6 frozen potstickers, literally directly from Sam's club, is $12. You can really tell the owner and staff care very little about their establishment. The ambiance is not good either. Rug all dirty and not vacuumed. I would not recommend this place. A hard pass.

A sweet Christmas treat from the lovely people at One More Thai.

Every meal excellent, fresh, and healthy. Served by friendly staff. Small, cozy environment with outdoor seating.

I had green curry with tofu, medium spice. It was good. I'll return when back in town.

None of the spaces are marked but it's not difficult to figure out where to park. Since the lot is gravel, be aware if you have mobility issues. You can park near the entrance but not adjacent to the building so there will be at least a short walk to the door. There is also a small step up to the porch in front of the door. The pickup window is next to the entrance door which is a nice touch as the interior is small and would certainly get crowded if to go orders had to wait inside. The interior is small with table seating for about 20. There is also a small outside patio for warmer weather dining. There are several windows allowing you to look over the very near river. We got there shortly before they opened and were seated within a minute of entering. We got a nice corner table next to the river. Our servers were very pleasant. They went over the menu and specials and were very patient answering any questions. One thing to note is they do not allow substitutions, so read the menu description carefully to be sure you know what you are ordering. We wound up ordering their daily specials. Unfortunately, I forgot to take note of what they were called. One was a curry and the other included short ribs and soup. We also ordered spring rolls. The spring rolls were brought to the table in about 10 minutes. They were hot and crunchy and excellent. The dipping sauce was a touch spicy and really brought out the flavor of the spring rolls. The main dishes were brought out after about another 15 minutes. The curry dish was outstanding. The meat was tender and seasoned very well. There was a slight overall spiciness to the dish, but it quickly settled into a warm glow that simply begged for another bite. The short ribs and soup special were also outstanding. The ribs were cooked perfectly with the meat falling off the bone. The soup was flavorful and the ingredients fresh. We ate until we were stuffed and then ate a little more. We simply could not finish everything and took the last bit with us, and it was just as good reheated the next day. We also decided to take a mango and coconut milk dessert to go for later in the evening. This was a wonderful finish to a great meal. The mango was fresh and flavorful. The coconut milk and sticky rice made for a great taste texture. For such an unassuming building the dining experience would rival that of any big city. The fact it is located in the beautiful mountains of North Carolina allows it to offer an experience unrivaled by any better known restaurant. If you are anywhere near Sylva, you own it to yourself to partake of a meal at Dalaya.

The menu is creative, thoughtful, and clearly driven by a chef who knows what they're doing. Every dish feels intentional, with bold flavors and elevated execution that go well beyond typical small-town expectations. What really stands out is how well it all comes together. It's not just creative for the sake of it--the food delivers. Great balance, great presentation, and dishes that actually live up to the vision. If you're looking for something a step above while in Brevard, this is the spot. It punches way above its weight.

I called over to the Square Root to check the kitchen timing (it was getting on 8) and all was well. We managed a seat at the bar and this was perfect for us. We chatted a bit with the servers, who were amazing. There is a ton enjoyment for the job and the space going on here. We also met some semi-locals who were awesome. Shout out to "Kendall-Jackson"! The menu is full of local ingredients and plenty of temptations. The specials were even more tempting and we grabbed oysters to kick it off. The pepper/spicy mignonette is so so good. It's just the right mix of classic and new. I didn't need the other sauce, especially with just 6 oysters. I eyed the yellowtail snapper (snapper, right? def not tuna) special, but opted for the Korean chicken sandwich. Quite good! I could have used a stronger flavor from the kimchi and, frankly, less of a mess, but the cook was just right, the flavor profiles were excellent, and the portion was plenty. A really good sandwich! I had the sweet potato chips as my side and I can see why they are popular. We kept the leftover sauces from the oysters just so I could dip my chips. Good call! She Said: I'd like to start by complimenting the fantastic staff. They've obviously been here a while, and they're enthusiastic about this place. He Said covered the oysters (yum!) and the mignonette (double yum!), so I'll focus on the mushroom tart that I got as my meal. The rough puff was really done well, and the mushroom and goat cheese combo was terrific. I thought they would be inside the pastry, but I adapted. The whole dish was terrific, and though I thought it was too salty for me, I also know that I'm sensitive to salt. All in all, we will definitely be back! Potty Points: no trip to the potty for me on this one!
