Bean curd szechuan style (delivery)
Jess L.

I got Twin Dragon delivery as a final resort on a recent evening, but ultimately, it turned out to be a good choice. The quantity was substantial. We got the almond duck and bean curd szechuan style. The almond duck was tasty, though I wish it had had more meaty pieces versus fatty ones. The bean curd, which I assume is a spin off from mapo tofu, was good. It wasn't as spicy as it would be traditionally; and the mushrooms, peas, and carrots were a bit odd, but they did call it "szechuan style," not mapo tofu specifically. So I can't get too picky about that. A wee bit too salty but definitely manageable. I liked the almond cookies as a freebie dessert instead of the common fortune cookie.

"Chow Mein", except not even close to Chow Mein.
Jesse W.

Ordered Chow Mein, got this mushy, slimy, pile of flavorless vegetables. We called them and told them that we never got the noodles with the Chow Mein and they said that they gave us fried wontons strips instead. We told them that we wanted the noodles, that was the whole reason we ordered it (my wife only likes the noodle dishes), they said that's just how they do it. So we went to a different Chinese place and got what my wife actually ordered and PAID FOR, so she could enjoy her dinner. Absolutely ridiculous, NO customer service, charged me for a dish we never ordered and didn't want and refused to fix THEIR screw up. Will NOT return, and would suggest nobody waste their time or money at this excuse of a Chinese restaurant.

This is Vegetable Chow Mein... I think the picture speaks for itself. This is literally soup! Yuck. 1/10 do not recommend.

Fried rice was a big ball of greasy mush, with what looked like spam instead of roast pork.

It's overpriced, but good. It's a very "Americanized" version of Chinese food, but definitely tasty.

I wanted to go to a sit down Chinese restaurant and decided to try golden house! Right off the bat,…read morethe nice woman who worked there greeted me and asked me what drink I'd like so she can get it for me! The Diet Pepsi was crisp, so already I was happy. There's so many choices on the menu! Literally there's something for everyone, especially if you have dietary needs. Biggest thing for anyone who doesn't know what they are ordering, it doesn't hurt to ask so you can get the exact thing you want! I got the house lo mein which is noodles and the combination of shrimp, pork and chicken hehe! I also got orange chicken! She brought out a bowl of rice for me! Super attentive! They have lunch options and family options! I had enough to take home too! I like this place a lot! The restaurant is nice and cozy too! (I get everyone has their own reviews, but it just seems like people who weren't very happy with their food did not ask what they were ordering. Make sure you ask, they are so nice and will answer and guide you) only gave 4 stars bc I have not tried everything yet haha! Will be back !

Among the best Vegetarian and Vegan options for Chinese food in Cheyenne. We've been eating here…read moresince 2001 and one of the things we appreciate is that they have been very willing to make meatless versions of dishes for us, substiting tofu for the meat protein in almost any dish and being clear about when that is not possible such as soups made with a fish stock, chicken stock, or sauce made with a beef stock. For us this started with being able to get a Kung Pao Tofu, and now we frequently enjoy Vegan versions of Singapore Chow Mei Fun, Spicy Basil Tofu with Vegetables, Vegetables Mu Shu with Tofu added, and Vegetable Bean Curd Soup made with a meatless stock and added fresh ginger. There items no longer on the menu which they also make upon request such as Vegetables Egg Foo Yong (vegetarianbut not vegan). A friend like added fried tofu so while their is a small added charge for the added tofu it still remains a bargain. They cook the tofu either fried or soft per your stated preferences. Likewise if you want something Vegan, just let them know to leave out egg. From the beginning with a different owner in the past they avoid using MSG, and offer a "healthy menu" which uses less oil and less salt. Truth is those versions are also less tasty but if you are trying to be more careful about what you are eating they are there and better than most other places with similar options. While the family and the servers frequently speak limited English they are going to serve Americanized versions of Chinese cooking which still is among the better outside of San Francisco or New York. They strike a balance between their native China and Wyoming, doing it well and try to accommodate customer preferences as much out of sense of hospitality as business savy. This is a real bargain for eating out with most vegan or vegetarian dinner entrées or lunch plates under $13 in 2025. Portions are generous. We share an entrée bring home the remaining half, and have a meal to share as "leftovers". They used to have brown rice but no longer do due to a combination of lack of requests for it and no doubt costs. If it's something you would like, ask, even if they don't have it, it let's them know it's some customers would like to see return to the menu. Golden House offers tasty vegetarian and vegan options in an unpretentious atmosphere. It is located in downtown Cheyenne across the street from a city parking garage and usually there is also street parking available nearby. If there is something you would like and you don't see it on the menu or if you need a dish prepared in a different way, ask. One of our favorite not on the menu dishes is Vegetable Singapore Noodles Chow Mei Fun, a golden curried thin rice noodle we order without egg to make vegan, and we have them add steamed tofu to it.

I asked for take out and was given a small cardboard take out container that was divided with 3 places for food. When I asked for take out, the guy at the counter handed me the container and told me "No steak!" What irritated me was that he watched me as I went through to get my food (the register is near the buffet line) as if I was going to try to sneak some steak into my plate. There was a good selection of food. I picked up a little of several items. Since I read the reviews, I added some General Tso's chicken. My mistake was that I saw some red jello in the salad bar and had a craving for jello, so added it to my plate. When I went to pay, the guy opened my container, just to make sure I didn't take steak. When I handed him the money, there was not a thank you or smile. When I got back to my hotel room, I opened the container and the jello had melted all over my food! I hardly ate anything, nothing really tasted good, except for the General Tso's chicken. Suggestion to the restaurant - offer a small container for jello or cold things. It can still fit inside the take out container, but would help to keep things from running together. If I do go back, I'll skip the jello and load up on the General Tso's chicken.

Beijing beef, Kung pao chicken and black pepper chicken. Sides were chow mein and veggies. My wife went with beef & broccoli and mushroom chicken with brown rice and greens. Both were served with generous portions. Our order was delivered to our hotel within 40 minutes. Our food arrived nice and hot and the order was correct (something I don't take for granted). They even included plasticware & napkins. But no soy sauce. My Kung pao was nice & spicy. The Beijing beef crispy and the pepper chicken was perfect. The veggies were also crisp. Seriously. I know most folks don't consider Panda Express as the real deal. But tonight's experience says otherwise.

After waiting in a long line while the team juggled DoorDash orders and in-person customers, the same girl who always gives me subpar service took over my order. All I needed was a simple bowl: fried rice and orange chicken. That's it. Jessica acknowledged my order, then passed me off. While I waited, I watched her immediately prioritize the person behind me, physically pulling them in front of me to check them out--while I stood there. It wasn't just oversight. It was dismissive, intentional, and it happens in some way every single time I come in. There's no excuse for this level of disregard. If one employee can make a loyal customer hate coming to what used to be their favorite chain, there's a serious problem. Until this location figures out what customer service is supposed to look like, I'll be taking my appetite--and money--elsewhere.
