    Smoked salmon guacamole salad

We wanted some casual food, a space to sit on a mid Sunday afternoon around 3pm around Eaton Center and stumbled upon this cafe. The location is conveniently located behind Yonge Dundas square on Victoria street with a clean and modern interior. It's a great place for friends to chill and there's a board game selection that's $6/person if you wish to play. We ordered food and we're pleasantly surprised with the taste, presentation and portion size. Everything came out at pretty much the same time and I am deducting a star due to the dumplings dish. My friend described it as frozen dumplings you would get in grocery stars and it came without garnish, only dipping sauce. The salted rose latte was delicious with a layer of cream foam on top which blended well with the coffee and sweetened with the rose petals. There's a bell which you press to get the waiter to come and the seats are cushioned and table space is ample. I would come back again to play some board games or just chill with friends. Their mock tails and cocktails also look pretty too.

Twilight cafe is located close to Yonge and Dundas. I got lost my first time coming here because of google maps. They charge $6 per hr for first two hours and then it's $3 per hr afterwards. It's not mandatory to buy food or beverages. They have free water as well. They had a good amount of games and I had fun with my group. Ordering was also a breeze as we just pressed the button to get a staff over. One of my friends is Muslim and we noticed that the menu mentioned that the burger is halal, however next to it, it states that there's Bacon. We asked the staff and they said it was pork. This is kind of conflicting as it's technically not halal with the bacon. You can opt out for the bacon but just be clear with the staff. I ordered the matcha basque cheesecake and it was kind of disappointing. It was small and it was cold. It was aesthetic and all but not worth $8.50 in my opinion. Overall I think this spot is great to hangout and catchup with friends over boardgames but I wouldn't necessarily come here for the food.

Cute board game cafe, good service and cute food. It's a little cramped and a bit loud but fun.

I had a great time at Twilight Cafe, having lunch and playing boardgames with some friends. I liked that this boardgame cafe has a more diverse menu compared to others I've been in the past. They have a wide range of drinks (alcoholic ones also), main dishes and even desserts. I had the unagi rice which cames with a side salad and a nice softboiled egg. It was filling and was a pretty good portion size. My friends ordered a fancy fruit egg waffles which was very impressive. There are two walls of shelving stacked with games to choose from. I liked that they had a wide variety, from quick two player games to longer more complex game play. A very convenient location right by Yonge and Dundas!

Tiramisu, pink grapefruit, twilight bailey milk tea

Came here with a friend to catch up. It was quite busy for a Tuesday at 4 pm, we had to get seated at the bar since there were no available table seats unfortunately. As a result, we weren't able to play any board games. The atmosphere of this place was beautiful: it was well decorated, pretty lights. I will say, due to it being busy (and also a board game cafe), it was pretty loud despite my friend and I sitting pretty distant from the main area. It was hard for us to talk to each other at times due to the noise. We ordered the gyudon rice, tiramisu, pink grapefruit, and twilight bailey milk tea. The gyudon rice was surprisingly filling and tasty, the beef was tough and stuck together at some points making it really hard to chew. The tiramisu had a good flavour but there was way too much cocoa powder dusted on top that we had to remove some while eating it otherwise it ruined the dish. The drinks were much better than the food, the pink grapefruit being the better of the two ordered. It was refreshing, had a good grapefruit taste, and was decently sized. The alcoholic drink was decent, it tasted like what you would expect from a milk tea mixed with Bailey's. Overall, this place is a good place to sit down, talk, and play some games with friends as well as grab some drinks. Make sure to book a reservation if you have a bigger group as this place can get quite busy especially during peak hours.

Twilight is a super cute game cafe! It was walking distance from my hotel. I walked in and was immediately greeted and escorted to a table by a friendly employee. There were groups of friends sitting at various tables through the cafe either visiting or playing games. There was a larger area in the back half where larger groups of people can sit together. I saw several couples walk in on dates. This is an excellent date place. It's also a fun place to meet someone for the first time. There are lots of games to choose from to make for a fun time. It's $6 to play games. All of the games seem be in good condition, not overly used and ratty. The drink menu was pretty extensive with options for alcoholic beverages, teas, lattes. There is something for everyone. I ordered the Taiwanese pork. It was flavorful and an excellent choice in my opinion. I would have preferred the greens come out on a separate plate because I didn't like that touching the warm food but that's a personal preference. I also ordered tiramisu to go. I had planned to only eat half of it that evening and save the rest for later. Alas, my plan was doomed to fail the moment I tasted it. It was absolutely perfect with just the right amount of sweetness. This is worth a try for a fun night with friends, a cute place to meet for the first time time so there isn't awkward silence, or a fun date night.

Cute board game cafe! It's conveniently located near Yonge Dundas Square and stays open late - perfect for chilling with friends. They have a big selection of board games to choose from, not to mention the interior is clean & modern. Their food and drinks are a bit pricey for the amount you get, but everything is pretty delicious. I liked their Green Forest drink the most (refreshingly fruity with a bit of mint) but the entire menu is full of good options. Service is okay - the counter staff is young and a bit disorganized but luckily the cafe is mainly self-service.

Location/Service This place is located very close to Eaton Centre - right across Toronto Metropolitan University - so very accessible for cars or public transit. This place is a lot bigger than I anticipated, with multiple small tables or large tables - including gaming rooms available. I think the private rooms would require a reservation. Very modern and good lightning that is perfect for playing games. Staff is nice and will try to explain as much as they can in terms of the available games or menu items. Food/experience There is a standard fee to play - food/drinks are extra - but it is worth to try them if you want to add in an actual meal. Their drinks are pretty standard - with the usual cafe style and bubble tea setup. What surprised me were their food - I tried their truffle oil pasta and it was absolutely delicious! Nice portion size and a huge flavour of the truffle oil. Adding in the mushrooms really blend well and I was completely stuffed. Their popcorn chicken is also great to share - it's snackable size and it's not overly fried or oily. I would also reco the nacho salsa dip, which was again huge in portion size to share. As for games, they have a variety of party games, strategic games and even Chinese related games. Depending on how many people and what kind of games they like - there is a good choice for everyone.

Stumbled upon on the place randomly and decided to check it out a Sunday late night. It was busy despite it was late. They have a reasonable amount of space but it is still limited, they do offer a private room for a party. The room is all brightly light with purple and blue lights. The Tv displayed the different YouTube music videos. There is a wall full of games to choose from. They had a large selection of games including some that I played in my childhood. The service was quick, they were accommodating enough to find us another place to sit when I declined sitting by the door (it was freezing) which was appreciated. While playing the game, tried the waffle and it was good, not as sweet. The latte was warm & the bubble tea was tasty. Overall, had a great time.

Fun little board game cafe in downtown Toronto. . . They got a variety of coffee, bubble tea drinks as well as Taiwanese food, pasta and desserts. We tried the popcorn chicken and it was crispy on the outside and super juicy on the inside. Board games are $6 per person per 2hrs of gameplay. The store itself is pretty small and the day we went, it was packed to the max which made it hard to walk around. Games feel new and clean which is nice.

Very fun place to go as in a group as you have more options for the games, but they also have great options for just two people. I've seen people who go here to study, or to eat as they have great food and drinks. If you are playing a game, you do have to pay $6 entrence fee as of May 2024- could change in the future I guess. As the place is busy, they have a call button to place an order or to talk with staff. If you are in Toronto and you love board games, I definitely recommend!

What an accidental find this was! I was looking for a place to eat that was open late around the eaton centre area and I took a chance on twilight cafe. The place has a nice vibe with a most of the patrons enjoying board games. Music in the background, high ceilings and good illumination make it very inviting. If this all seems good too to you, wait till you try their food. Top quality stuff that beat my expectation. I tried the taiwanese braised pork rice, iced orange americano and tiramisu and all turned out to be delicious. They have a menu that covers a wide variety of dishes absolutely waiting to be tried. Must visit even if board games aren't your thing.

the drinks and food here is really tasty! the milk tea is creamy and pretty, and the fries crispy! it was on the expensive side, but makes sense given it is a board game Cafe. the game selection here is not bad, but the quality of games is not always the best - the prices for the gaming is also a good price- $6/hr.
