The fish special: lightly breaded halibut with capers and asparagus

Cozy, lovely atmosphere, extensive cocktail menu, absolutely delicious food. Definitely recommend and will return soon.

The food is amazing! The salmon was perfectly cooked. The salad was so fresh and healthy! The breakfast was cooked to order and wonderful. The coffee service was great too. We love staying at the Charlie Creek Inn and can dine in their restaurant located in the lobby. The staff is always friendly and professional too. I like sitting by the window and looking across the street at the historic Eagles Theater while we dine. Lots of childhood memories!!! I also order coffee from room service when cones from this restaurant and it was fancy! I love dining here! What a lovely place in my little home town. Nicest restaurant in town!

Eggs Benedict and a mimosa: a perfect birthday brunch!

Popped in on a Friday night to check the place out, and was pretty impressed. I sat at the bar (as I usually do when dining alone) and the bartender (Joe, as I recall) was attentive and engaging. As a former bartender myself I enjoy talking shop, and we talked about local brews, wines, liquors, interesting drink recipes, etc. I was the only one sitting at the bar, but I'm confident that he would have been just as engaging with a full rail. I only had a glass of wine and a cup of their French onion soup, but was quite happy with that. Their soup is made with veal stock, which means it's a bit lighter than the traditional, which is made with beef stock, but it was very pleasant and tasty. At one point, the host/manager came over to ask if everything was OK, and I assured him it was. Always nice to know that management is concerned about their guests' experiences. As a result, I went back a couple of days later and treated myself to a birthday brunch of Eggs Benedict and a mimosa. My server, Jordan, was a delight. Very pleasant, engaging and always around when I needed her. If I'm in town long enough, I'll probably visit again and explore even more of their menu. Based on my two experiences thus far, I'm confident in saying you should give them a try if you're in search of good food in more upscale surroundings. Finally, they have an adjacent parking lot, so you won't have to bother with on-street parking downtown.

Stopped in for lunch. Short staffed and still only a five minute wait for a table. We had the coffee cake (recommended) Cobb salad. We asked for grilled chicken instead of crispy even though its not on the lunch menu I had the cheesesteak keto version no hoagie or beer cheese sauce.

Evening view from the restaurant. Grab a movie!

Tasty very affordable dishes started our morning. Service was exceedingly attentive and swift. I enjoyed the avocado toast with pepitas and feta which was delicious. I had to share pics with friends in Miami and NYC as my bountiful dish was only $12! Great breakfast after staying in the historic Charley Creek Inn.

French onion soup! So much cheesy deliciousness!

Twenty was an absolute delight!! Our server was amazing! Also the supervisor was so very funny! We were in town for a funeral and happened upon this quaint establishment and we felt very blessed to dine there with such great hospitality! The food was top notch and I would highly recommend! Thank you for raising our spirits and nourishing our bodies and souls at a sorrowful time. This is my brother with his French onion soup! He is a funny guy aka fungi!

My delicious dinner: Delmonico steak, blackened with blue cheese; Fontina mashed potatoes; kale (?) and bean sprouts sauté.

I went in around 10:30 p.m. and was greeted by the friendly staff and decided to try out the hot wings, as they came highly recommended. The mr. Dan wings were sweet Tangy with a good spicy kick at the end. At $7 for 6 wings it's a little pricey but understandable given they are freshly prepared. I highly recommend them don't hesitate to try them. I also had a fruit punch to drink and it was sweet and delicious. They have a full bar but I'm unsure as the types of drinks they can make, but I did see a few pictures of specialty drinks advertised. If you're in this part of town be sure to check this out as it's one of the few businesses that has a younger feel in Anderson. I'll definitely be back to try their other foods and beverages.
