To be in the Peace Possey of Peace Water Winery? 100% worth it! First of all, I don't like most Indiana wine because it's way too sweet. PWW wine is all from California! It's right up my alley, and the benefits of the Peace Possey make it a monthly date night PLUS a bargain on a bottle of delicious wine. There are multiple locations, but the Mass Ave location is the favorite for my introverted self. The vibe is more relaxed and quiet, and that gives the staff a chance to be a lot more attentive. Their pours are generous and their conversation is easy. We go every month. It's worth it!

Each time I've been the employees are kind and helpful. On my recent visit my friends and I went in for a tasting. They offer mainly dry wines, which aren't my favorite, but it was still enjoyable. They do have one sweet wine that is amazing. I love the location. It's an easy place to pop into if you're on Mass Ave. The decor is super cute and feels homey to me.

FLAVORFUL RESTAURANT IN A HIP PART OF INDY…read more======================================== My daughter-in-law recommended Bluebeard for dinner on Monday, June 22, 2026. I would have to say this restaurant is my favorite in Indy right now after one meal. Most of the things we shared were amazing and for a complete description please refer to my photo of the menu. We ordered the following: Burrata with Amelia's bread as an appetizer which was delicious. Gem Salad - This was amazing and I could eat it every day of the week. Stacci house made pasta - This was a big hit and I would order this every time. Hanger Steak - My husband, aka the picky eater, loved it. I didn't try it, but everyone seemed to like it. Chicken with a few dumplings - We all loved this. Three desserts to share: a cheesecake with fruit on top, one a bread pudding and a chocolate crisp. I ordered a delicious Monsoon Season cocktail with song cai vietnamese gin, cocchi americano, st. george thai basil eau de vie, elderflower, lemon and basil oil. My son and I also ordered glasses of Port after dinner. The service was great and I loved that they were playing really good rock music like Soundgarden and others. There are lots of antique typewriters above the bar and a cool print of Kurt Vonnegut by the bathrooms. I am looking forward to going again the next time my husband and I are in Indy visiting my son and daughter-in-law unless they move out of state.

"He's given him a yellow card. I can't speak!"…read more My main man Mick Morgan said it best, as I'm sure you remember, in response to the infamous faulty call of the 1988 Regal Trophy Match. The decision in question was Andy Hay electing to only show yellow after witnessing a violent punch thrown. He should've been sent off! Bluebeard was let off by the masses, which is diabolical. Lulled to sleep by outdoor seating options, sporadically tattooed wait staff, and cutesy menu typeface. In all of your bluster, did any of you see the player get sucker-punched? It was me! Five finger death punched by petite portions at pumped up prices. As I rolled on the ground in agony, you looked at yourself. Sure, your outfit was cute and your date was hot and you did a birthday thing and so on and so forth. But let's not forget the atrocity of what sat on our plates! Bluebeard did you wrong and more importantly, did your boy CJ wrong. To close with a separate thought, what are all you ladies dressing up for on a Friday night? This was my one "fellas got a birthday dinner" of the year. Do y'all do this weekly? Godspeed if so, Godspeed.

I ordered a pepperoni pizza along with a glass of wine, and both were absolutely delicious. The pizza was fresh, perfectly cooked, and full of flavor--the kind of comfort food that pairs so well with a good wine. The wine itself was smooth, enjoyable, and really elevated the whole experience. What truly stood out, though, was the service. I had forgotten to grab a Coke, and the staff member helping me was kind enough to go above and beyond by bringing me a bottle. That small act of kindness really made my visit feel special and appreciated. Overall, this was such a great experience--from the food to the wine to the exceptional service. I'll definitely be coming back and would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a relaxing and enjoyable outing.

Staff was nice enough, but when we arrived there was a dog roaming around and staff seemed bothered. May be it was just an off day and although we won't be returning I hope they continue to succeed. The one thing I would avoid is the charcuterie board, for $25 it was terribly disappointing and overpriced.

She gave us great directions on where to walk around the ranch so we could see some of the animals and the birdd. I chose to have a glass of the pawpaw wine which was very refreshing and we took our wines out and walked around the lavender fields and saw some of the yaks, but they were pretty far out. We also got to see the sheep and the pigs which were very friendly and adorable. We saw the nest for the purple martins and walked around the pond. They also had a food truck which my friend ordered a small charcuterie board from and we took inside to enjoy because it was pretty humid outside. There also some gifts along with yak yarn and alpaca yarn that you can purchase. This place was amazing to visit and I'm so excited that we got to check something out that was really not that far from us. A definite must do.

No yak milk (booo!), but there is wine. However, I must warn all of the people who prefer dry wine:…read moreThere is no dry wine here. It's all sweet. Even the driest of the wines, the Cabernet Sauvignon, is very sweet. So, if you love sweet wines, this place is for you! Right now, they are only pouring a Cabernet, a red blend, a Riesling and a sweet Rose. The grapes are imported, but Woolley Yak has their own vineyard, and the intention is that they will soon start producing wine from their own grapes. You can get a flight of wine, or a glass of wine, or a mimosa, and then you can take your wine outside with you as you explore the grounds. There are picnic benches here and there. There's also a food truck that sells four different types of grilled cheese sandwiches and handheld charcuterie cups. I think food is only available Friday through Sunday, though. I visited with children (well, a teen and an almost tween), but they are a good hang and will play on a playground with the best of them, so we headed straight for the nature play space. The playground was designed to encourage kids to engage in unstructured play, so it has a lot of natural elements all around, like tree stumps, hay bales and logs. My kids are "co-op kids" for life (their early years were spent at a nature-based cooperative preschool), so they thrive with this type of playground. There's also a tire mound to climb, a balance beam to balance on, and a basketball shooting station made from a grain wagon. There's lots of space to run around, and a few trees to climb, too. The big draw of Woolly Yak is the yaks! There are also Babydoll Southdown sheep, Kunekune pigs and chickens that live on the ranch. You can just sit on a bench and watch these animals do their things in their living spaces. Or, if you want a more up-close experience, you can purchase a ticket to one of the animal experiences, like storytime with sheep or tea with lambs. You can also experience brushing the yaks and giving them treats. If you didn't want to do any of those experiences, though, you could just visit the ranch to see the animals for free! There is no admission to enter the ranch or to park. It's a nice place to visit to stroll around and see what you can see.
