Great new food truck that makes its rounds round Jersey bringing Philipino food to those of us who did not grow up with it. I highly recommend getting a combo as it is the best deal and you can try more items! I got the pancit, the rice and the chicken skewers. Portions are very generous so you will have plenty of leftovers! Everything was very delicious and freshly made. Can't really go wrong with meat and rice! I want you to know the service is amazing, super nice people working in the truck and beyond kind. The food wise? Listen, you might see 25 bucks for nachos and go ''oh no'' and think you're getting robbed. When you open up the box, and see the delicious, warm, fragrant smells? You're gonna feel like a king. You start eating those nachos and every single one except the ones underneath at the very bottom are crispy? That's quality unheard of from a food truck. I kid you not, the ratio of crispy to non crispy nacho has to be the rest of the nachos to the 3 on the bottom that get mildly soggy. Best 25 dollar nachos I've ever eaten. The lumpia? I wish they gave more sauce because it was delicious. Crispy lumpia, cooked to perfection and the sauce cuts through the richness with its not too spicy kick. I do wish it was spicier because I love my spice, but for anyone without a spice tolerance, that has to be perfect. And the Ube Banana Pudding... don't get me started. Went back to get an extra one, this steals the show. This is the greatest banana pudding I've ever had, and no others come even close. The flavors, the softness, the richness, the creaminess is all on point. The crunchy bits of goodness at the bottom mix into the pudding so well. You get the flavor of ube and the banana, it all blends perfectly. It's the smoothest banana pudding I've ever had, and they keep it nice and cold as they hand it to you. I tried the lumpia and the ube banana pudding. I'm used to tiny lumpia, and these were more of a regular egg roll size. They tasted good but the type of skin they use isn't my favorite. It looked like they bursted in the dryer. The ube banana pudding missed the mark for me. Not enough bananas and the wafers weren't softened. Good if you like crunchy banana pudding but I like when the wafers get soft and cake-like. It was pretty expensive for what you get (which tbf is expected of food trucks) so I wouldn't order from here again :/ read more

These guys catered a private party for us and everything was delicious and service was warm and friendly. Loved the Twelves Combo and they had a nice twist to some classic Filipino ingredients like the longanisa Crunchwrap! I've never really liked pancit all that much but theirs was delicious. Everything was full of flavor and portions were generous. I recommend this truck if you're craving Filipino food. We'll be back to try some other things on the menu, especially the sweets! read more

I've had the pleasure of visiting the Twelve truck twice in the last few weeks. Their food is outstanding and the people working the truck are very nice. My friend and I got the chicken skewer today. He dropped his and attempted the 5 second rule. The guy on the truck stuck his head out the window and said--let me replace that for you at no charge. The skewers are legit delicious. They give you so much food that it's game over as far as trying other food. I was busog. The food is well worth every penny you spend on it. I visited the Twelve Truck while they were parked at the Raritan Bay Medical Center in Old Bridge and we were not disappointed!! I got the Longanisa Breakfast Platter and the Ube Banana Pudding and they tasted homemade and made like my family makes them. You get what you pay for with the amount of food and quality of food and Jost was so nice to us. Also, while we waited he gave us some chicken empanadas to try and they were delicious as well. The only thing I wish was that there was an option for garlic rice, but it was perfect either way. It's great as a quick and convenient option for Filipino food in Central Jersey. Not sure if I just caught them on an off day this WE but the fried lumpia was basically just rolled up eggroll wrapper with absolutely no meat inside - $9. The garlic fried rice had absolutely no flavor. The pork skewer was also the same - maybe needed to marinate a bit longer. Usually when one is hungry everything starts tasting good LOL. Went to the union farmers market in union nj to check out the food trucks and help out the local vendors since it's Covid. Bought a filipino pancit from them for 7$. And it was very bad. The noodles were made with mung bean noodles. Not rice noodles. I never had pan it with mung bean noodles. Very odd choice to use but ok. Benefit of the doubt and try it. But it was bland. Tasteless and the noodles weren't even mixed well together. There were chunks of noodles that were just noodles. And when you guys know what I am talking about it when you noodles from any place everything is thoroughly mixed together, sauced and melded together. This sadly wasn't. I could've forgiven it if the whole thing had some sort of taste. But it didn't. It prolly didn't even have salt Bc I could hardly taste it. There was no pepper taste no salt taste no anything. No seasoning nadda. It was so disappointing. I'm Glad I didn't spend no more then 7$ on it. If it was good I would've gladly spent double the amount. Pork skewer was black and burnt. It tasted like charcoal/lighter fluid. Rice was dry, hard and crunchy. Noodles looked and tasted like they were made in a large batch hours before. Half the noodles were clumped in a ball and never mixed in with the other ingredients. Pork spring rolls were bland. Not worth $15 for a combo let alone $25 plus tip. Maybe you had a new guy cooking in the truck on 7-6-22 in Newport? Whatever the case, you shouldn't be taking peoples money for food this poorly made. read more
