I had to change my originally scheduled appointment, which Jay had no problem accommodating. He showed up on time and did a fantastic job mounting two TVs. He knows his wiring well, and is very receptive to input while he works. I definitely recommend him for tv mounting needs! On a side note, I realize that some people were not pleased with his "professionalism." As far as I can tell and am concerned, Jay is friendly, does his job well, and explains the situation as it is. Jay is a true professional. He arrived exactly on time, and got right to work. He had the appropriate mounting brackets and the needed tools to mount including an electronic stud finder. He promptly mounted the smaller TV in the kitchen and moved to the bedroom for the larger TV. He carefully followed the outline I put up to locate the TV on the wall. He had both TV's mounted within 45 minutes. GIven the work required, his price was quite reasonable. I highly recommend this service. read more

Jay showed up 40 minutes after the scheduled appointment. He tried calling me 3 minutes after the appointment time to tell me he would be late but I was on the phone already. I was upstairs waiting by the door, but couldn't answer the call so I texted him back and he texted that he would be 30 minutes late. He then arrived 10 minutes after the late arrival time, total of 40 minutes. Right before he finally arrived, I got another call from my boss and was on the phone but my 24 year old son greeted him at the door and said I would be up shortly. The TV and mount were there and my son knew where it was going and was ready to answer any questions here might have had. Jay said I had to reschedule and left. He was gone before I could even walk up the stairs. For whatever reason, he said he needed to speak to me directly to do the install and couldn't talk to my adult son, who could have helped with every aspect of the install if needed. True or not, he'd made me wait 40 minutes past the appointment time and couldn't wait 2 minutes himself. Completely unprofessional. He told me he would respond to my review saying I hadn't answered any of his calls (2 calls, back to back, when he was already late). He said that he would say I was busy with other things when I scheduled for 12 o'clock. I was up there at noon but on the phone for a couple of minutes right when he called. Additionally, as I said, I was on the phone again at 12:40 when he finally showed up but was downstairs at my computer that time. He said he would respond that my son could not help with the consultation. Jay did not find out if my son could help. He said he had to talk to me and only me and he left saying I had to reschedule. Totally ridiculous behavior for a supposed professional. Such a horrible experience. A total waste of my time. Avoid this company if you want to deal with someone who will show any respect. read more

VERY UNPROFESSIONAL. When I called for service, you were very unprofessional over the phone. You never stated prices and the breakdowns. You also never stated the forms of payment to me. When you came to do the service, you were an 35 mins late to our home, on top of that, when I called to see if you were going to make it at the appointment time given (which was 12 noon), u then only stated that you were going to be late. There never was a courtesy call for this late show. When I asked about swivel tv mount you gave me an higher price. I kindly said "no thank you" I will go to the bank to pay for the service for which I was still under the loop of what was being done. Going into my bedroom has nothing to do with you leaving our home when u came to do a job that you were absolutely rude and late on. I DO NOT recommend this service to anyone. If you are looking for a professional installer who won't try to overcharge you for service, then this is the company to work with. I solicited several estimates from other companies in the area for a beginner home theater setup, and they either were severely overcharging for equipment or never even bothered to show up for the estimate appointment. One company insisted that I redo my entire pre-wired surround system audio wire even though the house was new construction! I finally got in touch with this company, and the interactions were straight and to the point. There were no hidden fees, upcharging, or other tactics used to drive up the price for amateur home theater buyers. I had initially just contacted Infinite Designs to install two 55" flat screen TVs, and it took him about 2 hours to do both. I was impressed with his work (no wires!) so we discussed setting up the home theater system in the media room. To make a long story short, I got in-ceiling speakers, AV receiver, sub, and set up for half the price of another company, and got exactly what I wanted. Would recommend to anybody! read more
