Update on our Whirlpool Stove. On July 28th we received a call from Cassie Salyer the district manager for Ferguson. Our review was brought to her attention and she stepped up when no-one else was willing to do so. She offered to replace our stove but unfortunately they could not install for a couple of weeks. Fortunately our son is an electrical engineer so she arranged for the new stove to be delivered to us on 7/30. Our current model was out of stock so we were offered an upgrade. The delivery person on 7/30 was very nice and her van was a low rider so Doug and I were able to help her set it in our garage. The stove was installed that evening and the broken stove was picked up on 8/10 by two Ferguson associates who could not have been any nicer. Thank you Cassie for coming to the rescue and it is awesome to be able to cook for my family. We appreciate you so much when Whirlpool would not! I will definitely buy from Ferguson in the future but it will not be Whirlpool! read more

I had a great experience with customer service rep Tim. I'd brought in an older Moen faucet and he helped me identify the model and the missing valve. He was courteous, knowledgeable, and efficient. I recommend this store if you need to find the right parts for your plumber. read more

I tried calling several times to make an appointment. Not once did anyone answer the phone. I left several messages. Not once, did I get a call back. They are located in the downtown area where parking is not convenient, so visiting the showroom, much less without a reservation, is a waste of effort. This place has a very good selection, which is obviously one reason people still shop here. Also, they have a lot of relationships with local designers, which must be the only other reason people shop here. But the service and efficiency of this place is a one star at best. Working with them is a lot like being at the airport and having to change your ticket for a cancelled flight. Every time we have been there it seems like the employees are annoyed that you're there, and they do not treat respectfully. Like it isn't stressful enough spending $10,000+ for some bathroom accoutrements! Also, they are very strongly focused on specific sales reps, and if your sales rep doesn't happen to be there when you need to exchange something or buy something else, they really don't want to work with you, which is mind numbing. The fact that you can't complete a lot of these transactions online is also antiquated. read more

Wow, after a month into our renovation, we just found out from the Ferguson rep that our appliances are back ordered 4 months, which we picked out appliances last summer. Warning to anyone looking to deal w/ Ferguson. All of this time, and now we're told about the 4 month lead times. Extremely disappointed. read more

We needed a replacement cooktop for our current gas unit. On Tuesday 12/1 I called to get a quote on the replacement cooktop. I told the salesman that we were ready to place an order and he said he would send me a quote for the unit we wanted by the end of the day. The next day I called to ask about the quote that I hadn't yet received. He didn't answer so I left a voicemail, repeating all the information. On Friday I still hadn't heard anything so I called back and asked to speak with his manager. The manager said she would look into it and get right back to me. We still have not heard back so we bought the cooktop from Home Depot. We had a very good experience with an excellent salesperson there. We had thought this was a high end appliance store where we would have excellent quality care and service. Unfortunately, we now believe we will receive better care and service at a regular big box store or even a low quality discount store. read more

Make an appointment if you want dedicated assistance but other than that, you are welcome to walk in and take a look around! Prices are not for the faint at heart BUT it's because it's high end. In 2016, I worked with Ferguson to purchase all my new custom home's plumbing and appliances. The Ferguson showroom is expansive with so many great options to choose from. The Showroom Consultant that I worked with was knowledgeable, helpful, fun, and extremely responsive to any questions or concerns I had during the selection/purchase. I was very pleased with the experience. Since purchasing and installing the products into my home, I have literally been blown away by their continued customer support - they truly are top notch! FURGUSON LIGHTING - REVIEW We came here on the recommendation of our contractor to purchase a fan. We thought the showroom was well layed out and organized. We had to wait a bit though for someone to help us since it was a weekend. We were told several times "someone will be with you shortly." So we waiting in front of the store and finally someone is available. We could see that the receptionist told the salesman that we were waiting for him. He never once acknowledged us while he gulped down his soda. That was kind of rude. He claps his hands free of any junk or crumbs he had been eating then wiped his mouth (gross) and heads over to meet us. We proceed to tell him that we had picked out a fan, so the salesman (Mike) wrote up the sales slip. Since we did not know the length of the down-rod needed, we told him that we would complete the transaction over the phone. Meanwhile Mike leaves to get a printed copy of the receipt. We waited for **at least** 10 minutes for him to return. We called back to the store to give the remaining information to Mike, but Mike was not available, so I talked with Liz. She then emailed me a copy of the receipt. The next day I noticed that the emailed receipt had a different price than what I had seen on the floor. Fortunately, I had taken a picture of the price tag and brought this to Liz's attention via an email. She replied, explaining that the charged price was the correct price due to the current tariffs. But since I snapped a photo of the advertised price they were "willing" to give me the adjusted price. A week follows and the fan arrives. And I am still waiting for my credit -- despite the fact that the charge has been on my account already for a week. I called Liz and she told me that the credit had not been issued yet since they had not been billed by the manufacturer, but will send it as soon as they receive it. The credit did finally arrive, almost two weeks after our initial purchase. Never once did we receive any apology for the mismarked price or delay in getting our credit. This store reeks of arrogance. This is BS. Firstly, the store wants to charge me a different price than advertised. That is FALSE ADVERTISING and BAD BUSINESS. Then I call (again) for a credit and told they cannot give me the credit since 'they' have not been charged -- even though *I* have been? Again, this is BAD BUSINESS and the store needs to get their internal businesses lined up. This is completely unacceptable from a consumer point-of-view. Next time we will shop elsewhere where customers are given priority over internal business flaws. read more

Absolutely beautiful show room! My Parents and I both are doing some remodeling and upgrades to our homes over the next few months. My dad asked if I would like to go by this location and look around. I am so glad that we did. As soon as we walked in a beautiful young lady said hello and welcomed us. We did not have an appointment however she assured us it would be more than ok for us to take a look around. The show room was busy this afternoon but not so much that you could not enjoy looking around. What particularly stuck out to me were the beautiful selection of chandeliers. Although many of the beautiful Appliances, furnishings and fixtures were not within my budget the prices were well matched considering the Top of the line Quality inventory and down right Sexy appeal Of Everything! Beautiful showroom. We were ignored until we were at the door walking out. The only person that spoke to my mother and I was the young woman sitting at front desk. We spent several minutes about 30, looking at kitchen faucets. Several people walked by, no one ever spoke. Many acted as if they did not see us at all. One young lady was so engrossed in her phone she could not bother to look up ... They do have nice products. Terrible customer service. We will shop elsewhere. read more

Geez another business with harsh reviews! My experience here was pretty good. Based on warnings from previous reviews about potentially needing an appointment to come to the showroom, I called ahead. No appointment needed, I could come in and browse all I wanted and was encouraged to take a lot of pictures of stuff I liked. I was warmly greeted when entering and told to look around freely. The showroom is lovely, yes , lovely. Lots of pretty shiny things to look at in preparation for a bathroom remodel. Freestanding tubs and faucets galore. There are also kitchen and laundry sections. Yes - the associates on site were busy at desks helping customers make decisions/orders. Yes, it probably is a good idea to do your home work/visit the showroom and then make an appointment with an associate to actually order stuff. Fergusson isn't Lowes, so there aren't people just waiting in the aisles to help you. We worked with Ferguson in Chapel Hill building our last house and appreciated the attention - we even saved money on buying some floor model kitchen appliances. read more

They are the worst! Avoid them at all cost. They damaged my brand new cabinets when installing the dishwasher and then did such a poor job I had to have another company come out and fix the dishwasher install two years later. Now 5 years later I find they improperly installed my refrigerator and all I get is the run around from them transferring me from one person to another (six different people in total) and then giving me different numbers to call. I finally gave up on them which is probably what they wanted anyway , and now again I had to call an outside repair person because they won't stand behind their bad installation and fix the problem. read more

Banks and Billy tried to help us. We were completely blown off by Kayla several times including when we simply needed her to help a trainee write up our order. In a 24 hour period, she lost your location $60,000. 30 to Queen City, 10 to Lee Lighting and the other 20 got transferred down to Ferguson Charleston where they know how to treat a client. Our company lives and dies by reviews. I hope this helps you learn and grow. Oh- your lighting fixtures are dusty and have cob webs on them. How can you sell dirty lights? I don't understand all the negative reviews this was not my experience at all. Sometimes customers might be the problem, I don't know. I just went in to look around but got helped within about 5 min. Claire showed me some tubs, helped me update my online order and was overall very friendly. I recommend shopping any store like this during the week and before lunch time. read more

I've bought a kitchen from them previously. (Atherton location) This time, the reception was as friendly as possible. ***** for her! She directed me the dishwashers. I walked back and looked around ... and looked around ... and looked around. I opened the dishwasher doors and made audible comments within 4 feet of an employee. I pulled out the drawers, I moved the racks, adjusted the tines; nothing drew any attention from anyone. This, and every other employee, was deep -- really deep -- into big-time conversation with other people. Nobody said to us (my party was two), "Hello, I'll be finished in about 10-15-20 minutes, and then I'll be glad to help" or "Hi, let me call someone else who will be able to help you sooner." Nothing. Other than the great lady up front, I had no words with anyone else at Ferguson. Ugh. The two star review is for their beautiful displays and the terrific receptionist. Ferguson, get a clue on good service of customers, especially repeat customers, even if they don't have an appointment. Moral: I drove over to Lowe's and bought it from them. So there. read more

My poor experience is with the Charlotte Showroom and Amanda Repke. I am remodeling my large master bath and met with Amanda to choose my bathroom fixtures and tub. After the first meeting, Amanda would rarely respond to my voicemails or emails. It was so bad that I had to call the showroom manager to try and get a response. The showroom manager apologized and told me to call her if it ever happened again. Eventually, once all the framing was complete in the bathroom and we were ready to start plumbing I called Amanda and spoke to a person on her team, as she was not available to take my call. Her colleague scheduled a meeting for me with Amanda. On the day of the meeting I emailed Amanda to reconfirm the time. Amanda emailed me back that I was not on her calendar and she would not be able to meet with me this day. I had taken the whole day off from my work to make these purchases. I emailed Amanda back and asked her if I could meet with another sales person in the showroom to make my purchases this day and she said all sales people were booked the entire day. I called to speak to the showroom manager and the showroom manager was supposedly on vacation. I then asked to speak to the branch manager and when I was transferred they hung up on me. Needless to say I took my business elsewhere. Ferguson provides poor customer service and doesn't seem to care. I would not recommend working with Amanda Repke because she doesn't seem to care about her customer service skills. read more

We have even doing business with Ferguson since 2017. The showroom is fantastic, but there is so much more that you can't see. Everything, including all new light fixtures, appliances, kitchen sink and faucets and bathroom fixtures all came from there. If we ran into a size issue or design change, Robin and all the staff at Ferguson bent over backwards to help us throughout the year long project. Again, yesterday I was there to order fixtures for a guest bath remodel and Cassie jumped right in to assist me with my choices. She never left my side and was quite accommodating! It is so reassuring to know that no matter what the problem is they will help you solve it. read more

We walked in prepared to pick out a lot of items and no one could be bothered to get up from their desk to help us. Only one girl spoke to us and she only got up to give us brochures. She told us to look though then and come back to let her know what we picked out. We could just have gone online to do that ourselves. Don't waste your time coming here. Prices are high and they act like they don't want your business. As we walked through the stores we saw only two other customers and maybe 10 sales ladies at their desk. Not one was with a client so no idea why we were told when we called ahead no one was available to help us. read more

Dennis in the appliance showroom is A+. I needed a new drop in range, because someone "accidentally" stepped on mine while installing an overhead light. I learned a lesson, Glass top ranges don't like a full grown man standing on them. That was a costly mistake. I explained what I needed to Dennis, he immediately pulled up the only 2 models in existence that fit my situation. He knew the history on each one, that they were really made by the same company, under different branding, and that Jennair doesn't allow anyone to discount them, so anywhere you go, you have to pay the same price. And you only get 2 choices on color. A few minutes later, Bryan was $ poor, but new range rich. They scheduled someone to come out and install it. I asked Dennis, how did you know all that about my range? He has been doing this for like 20 years. So, if you want an expert, go by and see Dennis at Ferguson. He is awesome. read more

Terrible customer service. Spent a lot of money for appliances and products for the entire home - would have had better service, follow up and experience shopping at Home Depot. The representative I worked with rarely returned calls and was always "out to lunch". Felt like I had to chase him down in order to complete my purchases. They were disorganized, indifferent and didn't deliver as promised. You are better off getting a price match and going to Fred's for appliances and other places for plumbing and lighting. Regret buying through them. Not even a follow up call after deliveries and installs despite all the issues on top of spending up to $30k. We told other people about our experience - came to find out they had experienced the same thing - customer interaction and follow up was similar. read more

Not only did the staff go out of their way to answer our questions and give us design ideas, but they made us feel less overwhelmed and we left excited to start our project. Great experience!! I've got to echo what the previous reviewer has written. We had no appointment walking in. There are no signs on their door stipulating you need one. Instead, you have a big "WELCOME," under their company name. We walked in and the receptionist greeted us. She was extremely sweet, welcoming, and helpful. That's why I've given this place a 2 star, instead of a 1. After leaving her desk, this is where all friendliness and helpfulness ended. Not one other associate (and there were many) bothered to even smile or acknowledge us. Smile! We were not expecting the carpet to be rolled out for us, but for crying out loud, a smile was too much effort for everyone? Not helpful, welcoming, or friendly peo. Prices are high. You would be better served going to a big box store or online at faucets direct.com or efaucets. Same product and much fairer pricing. Plus, you are not burdening anyone with your presence which is what it felt we were doing. There are other places that will happily take your money while providing appreciative service. read more
