A wonderful technician named Stephano along with his very knowledgeable manager came out to assess why my AC stopped working. They were both professional, helpful and had great insight into the situation unlike the first technician from another company that had come out first. Plus the other company technician said that I needed some things that I didn't and tried to pressure me with his sales tactics. Stephano was super nice and explained that I didn't need those things and the issue was something else which saved me money which I really appreciated. He had my system fixed the same day and exceeded my expectations. I highly recommend this company and will happily use them for any future work and maintenance.

So he told me he checked on how much a fan for my outdoor unit would cost and first he told me $2,600. I told him I couldn't do that right now either. He then said he would give me a discount and make it $2,100. I told him I couldn't do that either and he said, "how about $1,000, or how much can you do now?" I told him I would have to think about it and he said he would look for a used motor that would be cheaper and he would call me back with a quote the next day. He never called back. Today I had an independent service fix it and it ended up costing me $740. *

Advanced came out and fixed it-though they did were unclear whether it was caused by a bad install, or faulty equipment. If bad install- they should own up to it and cover damage, or at least have the discussion. If it was equipment then they should have had a discussion with the manufacturer. What did they do? Nothing. Never responded to my multiple calls. This all could have been resolved with a conversation about who is liable after damage is done due to their installation. Great pricing, but make sure you factor in the cost of potential damage to your home.

Buyer Beware. My property manager had Peace Heating and Air out to look at our mini split unit…read morethat was not working. He presented us with a $4400 quote to replace the system. My unit was under warranty so I had my installer go and look at it. Peace Heating and Air had pulled out some wires so that the unit didn't work. My technician reinstalled the wiring and the only thing wrong with the unit was the remote. He reprogrammed it and now my guests have heat. One year, my heat went out on the coldest day in the year, which happened to be Jan 1st. Being that it was Jan 1st, I called a different service company that claimed to be available 24x7x365 and advertises on TV often. This company completely miss diagnosed the issue, costing me a lot of money and I still had a broken unit. I then called Performance A/C, they were there the next day and resolve the problem. I highly recommend using Performance A/C for all your A/C challenges.

If a couple of questions regarding quotes and pricing can get you that upset to hang up on a potential client.... imagine how it would go if you had any real issues!
