Just the facts- they had great pricing, and did a good job installing (I thought). A couple months after install, we had a serious leak from the attic unit- it caused $1,500 damage to our ceiling. Advanced came out and fixed it-though they did were unclear whether it was caused by a bad install, or faulty equipment. If bad install- they should own up to it and cover damage, or at least have the discussion. If it was equipment then they should have had a discussion with the manufacturer. What did they do? Nothing. Never responded to my multiple calls. This all could have been resolved with a conversation about who is liable after damage is done due to their installation. Great pricing, but make sure you factor in the cost of potential damage to your home. read more

Our gas furnace at our house in NC stopped working on one of the coldest days. After reaching out to advanced air, they came out very quickly. Diagnosed our problem, gave us a price to repair that was very reasonable. I am very happy to have found this company! I will be using them exclusively for all of my heating and cooling needs. read more

Thee worst service I ever received. Brian lied to me when I wanted a breakdown of services NOT rendered, that is theft by deception; when I paid 533.00 for a receipt, that he said he would send over to my email. And never received; how they came to that quote. I spoke to other air conditioning companies here in Mooresville that he is a fake and a liar. I rest my case your honor in a court of law. read more

We had a pretty great experience with Advanced Air this summer. ISSUE was our Lennox unit's A Coil, which apparently has a manufacturer defect that causes the coils to corrode over time. We had it brand new about 6-7 years ago, and it had to be replaced under warranty. Even so, the labor isn't free, only the part is free... and the labor is where the industry gets you. PRICE was a fair deal all around. It wasn't dirt cheap, but it was fair market expectations (we did shop around). Other places wanted to charge us simply for confirming the problem we already had diagnosed (in writing); these guys didn't. And another fairly reputable place, Morris-Jenkins, wanted to charge nearly twice the amount these guys did. TIME/SCHEDULING was fair. Morris-Jenkins told us they wouldn't be able to source the A Coil for a few months, whereas these guys did confirm they worked warranty services for Lennox and were able to source it within about a week and a half. COMMUNICATION was pretty good. The first time we messaged, they answered right away and gave us a call to schedule a look-see that day. And on that same day, we got an ETA on estimate and parts (the estimate seemed to take a little longer because they had to confirm the warrantied part before sending us documents). They're good with texting as well, which works great for our household. THEIR WORK looks solid so far. They came in and kept things fairly tidy, troubleshot issues on the spot, communicated what they needed, and after a few hours of labor they had everything running again. It's been a couple days now and the AC is actually running cold enough we had to raise the temp a little lol. OVERALL, usually we feel near cheated when dealing with HVAC situations - they're not a cheap thing to fix, especially during this economy. However these guys seem to be straight shooters and we would be happy to work with them again in future. Definitely recommend. read more

After calling around when my heating system suddenly malfunctioned one night, Advanced Air was the 1st to call me back. I didn't want to freeze another nite so I agreed to the service person (Nick) coming out same day. Despite the short notice he was still able to work me in at a time that worked for me. By the time Nick arrived, my system seemed to be working fine. I still wanted him to look at it to see if he could determine why it may have gone out during the nite. Initially he told me that he could not find any issues with the system. Upon me explaining a little further (of some banging sounds that I'd heard & the system blowing cold air during nite ) he checked the heating strips and found them to be no longer working. Nick was very straightforward and seemed to be honest. He also explained in simplified way so that I could easily understand, despite no knowledge whatsoever of heating systems. He advised me that my heat strips needed to be replaced: As long as temps remained above freezing my heat would work fine. However, if temps drop below freezing the backup system (heat strips) had to kick in and I would once again have no heat until temps elevated above freezing. I never once felt pressured into getting a service that I did not need or as if he were being dishonest. He advised me to reach out to him if I decided to replace them and in the meantime he'd look into costs of the strips for my system. After he told me the cost I decided to wait to see if it happened again. Surely a few weeks later when temps dropped below freezing overnight, I once again had no heat. I called Nick the following morning and he was able to get another tech (Cesar, if I correctly recall) out that same day to replace them. It has been a few weeks since the repair and the temps have dropped below freezing several times overnight (as low as 18 degrees) and I have had no more issues. I would definitely recommend and use this company in the future. read more

Had my AC go out and he was very responsive and great customer service. I would recommend them for all your HVAC needs.

We had Brian come out and repair our Mini Split. He was professional and extremely on point with his repair explanation and time needed. You don't get this type of quality service anymore.. Well Done :) Kevin - Mooresville NC read more

This is the absolute worst heating and air company you can use in this area. They do not follow up on their calls for one. If you can get them to come out, they will fix something, charge an outrageous price and then your unit will still not work. You will spend all your time trying to get them to come back out and then they ignore your calls. I would never recommend them. They seem to have a turnover with their technicians as well so you deal with someone different every time. Don't waste your time or money ! read more

The air conditioning unit in our home went out. I called and spoke with Brian, ready for a sakes pitch and an astronomical price. Instead Brian listened and immediately eased my mind regarding price, which the best I had been offered. He stayed in constant contact with me, walking ne through the entire process. From installation to financing and everything in between. The men who came out were friendly and efficient. They took their time and were neat. My wife, mother in law, and myself are satisfied with the work that was done, the line of communication, the maintenance and warranty package, and the peace of mind that we have knowing we got an excellent unit at a great price. Thank you to Brian and his team. I would recommend them over and over again. read more

If you want fast, accurate service at reasonable prices, look no further than Advanced Air. They reply quickly to your call and find the right solution to your problem quickly and efficiently. We had BOTH our upstairs and downstairs units develop issues within a week of each other. Our Upstairs unit had a very odd problem that turned out to have multiple causes. It took them two days, but they persevered and figured it out. The final solution was hundreds of dollars less than what was originally thought to be the problem. Other repair services would have just thrown parts at it till they fixed it, but Bryan took the time to troubleshoot the issues and find the correct solution. Not three days later, the downstairs unit stopped cooling! They showed up the next morning after I called, looked at the outside unit and had it fixed in 30 minutes. Because I was a repeat customer, Bryan gave us a break on the repair cost. Just another reason to always use local talent and support your neighborhood businesses. I saw from another posting that Bryan is a veteran - all the more reason to support his business. If you hire him to repair your HVAC, be sure to thank him for his Service. I don't know in which branch Bryan served, but from one Vet to another, Semper Fi, Bryan! read more

I just had Advanced Air replace my upstairs HVAC. Caesar and Nick were pleasant to work with and they did a great job. I couldn't be happier with the workmanship and the cost. read more

I have nothing but amazing things to say about this company and their technicians. They went above and beyond for us when our AC stopped working and our bedrooms were 75 degrees or hotter. They worked with my very difficult warranty company and got the job done super fast even being booked out for weeks. They are very prompt in returning calls or texts. I highly recommend them and they will continue to be our go to company! read more

New to the neighborhood, needed to change filters and establish seasonal service for my HVAC unit. There are a lot of companies out there to chose from but I like to use local talent. Bryan (owner) is not only local, he a fellow veteran. His prices are reasonable and he was prompt for our appointment. While at my home, Bryan educated me on my unit and spent some time discussing possible upgrades (installing NEST system). I am very please with his service and will use him in the future. Support a Veteran, support reputable, local businesses. I highly recommend Bryan. read more

Just had our HVAC system replaced by Advanced Air. The staff was very professional, communicated well, and cleaned up nicely after the job. They were very responsive to provide what we wanted and worked diligently to get the job done in a timely manner. Thanks to the Advanced Air team! read more

Nick and Cesar are both extremely professional and knowledgeable. Nick was able to come out quickly to diagnose my HVAC problems and assisted with providing notes and speaking with my insurance. I received a fair quote for HVAC replacement. The HVAC replacement was scheduled quickly and went smoothly. They were cautious to not mess up walls or furniture. Highly recommend Advanced Air. read more

I needed a whole system replacement with zones. No one but Advanced Air truly understood the zone system and how to install. I stood there with them (the engineer in me) and was very impressed with their knowledge and professionalism. My HVAC unit died last week and I reacged out to three companies on Yelp - Advance Air was the only one who replied! After a phone consultstiom I scheduled an appointment with Bryan (the owner) and he and his technician came out the following day. They diagnosed the problem quickly and accurately (basically the unit is 20 years old & needs replacing) but were still able to charge the old unit to get it working temporarily. My landlord got quotes from them and has opted to use thrm for a new unit installation so we'll see how they do, but so far I'm very pleased! read more

Nothing but great things to say about this company! I would highly recommend! These guys are on top of things! They are on time for appointments, extremely knowledgeable and must importantly honest. Big shout out to Jerry B. that came to house asap to get us back up and running! read more

Bryan and his company responded very quickly to our HVAC needs. We had a coil go out on our unit and Advanced Air replaced the coil under warranty the very next day. When someone stands behind their product and follows through, that says a lot about a person and a company. I would highly recommend Bryan and his company. He is very competitive on his pricing as well. Wes Huntersville read more

They installed my new heat pump this year and I am extremely impressed. Price was reasonable. Customer service was outstanding.

I would give negative stars to this company if I could. Our air conditioner stopped working and we called this company. They came over and charged us over $400 to put Freon in the unit. After the tech left the system completely shut down and wouldn't even blow. They came back out and said the whole system needed to be replaced. We had 2 other companies come out to give quotes but we ultimately went with the advantage because they could come out the next day and they were the cheapest. The techs stated the new unit was bigger and they used some sort of tape to hold it in place. This made me uneasy but they stated that is normal practice. That night we started hearing a knocking in the wall behind our washer and a tech came back out and said it had something to do with the unit being larger than the old one (my house was built in 2006 for reference). So the knocking sound stopped and now a few weeks later the system is BROKE!!! it's 4th of July and we have people coming to our house and the pipes are frozen and we have no air. We paid thousands of dollars for a system that worked not even a month. Now the owner is conveniently out of town and not answering his phone and the tech on call is too swamped to come to our house. I feel this company ripped us off. I do not feel that the techs really know how to install a new unit and I will never do business with them again. I recommend anyone considering this company to pay the extra money and go with a more reputable one. read more

Quick, efficient service. We had a non-emergency and they answered the phone immediately and then showed up in less than 24 hours. The technician was knowledgeable, personable and checked everything, even after he had diagnosed the likely issue. In and out in about 45 minutes, after showing up exactly on time, Advanced Air was great. With a military discount and their speedy service, I highly recommend them. read more

Advance Heating and Air do great work. They are honest and fair. They show up on time and stay until they double and triple check all their work. They also stand behind all their work. I appreciate them coming out so quickly on short notice. They are a company you can trust. Highly recommend. Thanks Brian and Blake. read more

Advanced Air worked with me to figure out the best solution to the leaking coil in my AC unit. They offered to replace it for $500 less than other companies in the area that I talked to.
