Also the garlic sauce provided was smooth and tasty, not too spicy. The tabbouleh was refreshing. The potato salad was good as well, large chunks of potato and tasted great. The service was friendly and quick. Next time I would get the combo instead of just the entree size. The combo is a few bucks more for a whole skewer. Entree only comes with one skewer. read more

Finally, a really good, legit Middle Eastern spot in Glendora. I gave this place a try and it did not disappoint. I had the shawarma plate with hummus and tabouli, along with a chicken kabob wrap. Both were delicious and cooked very well. The customer service was excellent, and although I ordered it to go, I waited inside and really enjoyed the interior atmosphere. Ever since we read on Facebook about someone's experience trying out Tut's Kabob and how much they enjoyed it I've wanted to try it. We came today, March 8th and ordered the mixed kabob plate. We chose lamb and chicken kabobs with sides of baba ganoush and potato salad. They came on a bit of rice with a large piece of pita bread. There was also a small container of garlic sauce. I have not had that delicious or tender lamb in absolutely years. It was incredible! The chicken was also delicious as was the baba ganoush and the bed of rice the kebabs were on. Next time I am there, I will get hummus instead of the potato salad, which, while not bad, did not stand out in any way. They also had fabulous made in house baklava. All in all, a very nice experience. All of the food was served in to go containers, which made it easy to just pick up and take the leftovers home. And the chicken kabobs were testimony to how delicious chicken kabobs can be - golden seared on the outside, tender white meat on the inside and perfectly seasoned making them the best kabobs I've ever had! All the tasty sauces and dips perfectly complemented the top quality meat. We loved the baba ganoush (so flavorful!) and the house-made tahini (you cannot get this smooth flavor at home!), and the garlic sauce, tzatziki, hummus and garlic potato salad just took the delicious meal over the top! And also, their fountain drinks were perfectly crisp, fizzy and delicious. Fady, one of the owners, took time to check on us, ask us how we liked the food and have an enjoyable conversation with us. The dining area is nicely decorated with pretty lighting, the music was lively and had me dancing in my seat, and the whole restaurant and restroom are nice and clean. Great HEALTHY food options! Great service. A handful of my other favorite restaurants/cafes here in Glendora are not open on Mondays BUT thank goodness they're open here. They offer a GREAT food selection and they give you options. The char on my chicken kabobs gave it amazing flavors and it was still soft, juicy and great flavor on the inside. Came across the gem spot and it was amazing. I've only tried Damasquino's down the street which was a let down. There wasn't anyone eating inside and this place is new and deserves more customers as the portions are huge and the food is amazing. Freddy was the one who took our order and he was very welcoming and treated us like family. If this place was closer to me, I would have this every week. I'll definitely be coming here every time I'm in the area. I wish this place success as I don't want it to close down. Plastic utensils and a to go box is how the meal is served at the restaurant which has ample tables. Get your own utensils. A table of 4 sitting next to us received their meals about 5 minutes before us even though we had ordered 8 minutes before them. Even though we got there at 5 PM, they were out of some basics. New restaurant that opened up in the old empanada place. Excellent food and dining area. Meats were moist, salad was good. Pickled veggie was good. Rice was fine. My only complaint were the garlic fries. Zero taste of garlic and super oily. I think they drizzle oil on it after they come out of the fryer or maybe whatever they mix in the fries has oil in it? Fries looked great and were cooked perfect, but just tasted like regular fries. Recommended the place to friends and they tried it the following week with the same experience with the fries. Everything was tasty except the bland meat. The chicken kebabs were delicious. I regret ordering the red cabbage. It was covered in mayonnaise and tasted oddly sweet. This place is pretty pricey. For $30 including tip, I don't expect to eat out of a styrofoam container. The restaurant is clean. I was upset about the steak kebab that I mentioned it to the nice man at the register. He was kind enough to apologize for that and offer me another kebab to replace it. I ordered another chicken kebab because that was the only thing that I really liked. The hummus was whatever and the pita was fresh and paired well with their garlic sauce. Maybe I came on a bad day.
