First visit was Sunday around 4:00. From the outside it looked like a small take out only business. But upon entering we found a spacious, comfortable, well designed eating area with booths and tables. Menu selection was excellent. Lots of main dishes and a huge variety of sides. Food is served in clamshells, take out style and can be carried out or eaten on the premises. Staff were extremely friendly, welcoming, and very helpful. Excellent assortment of Mediterranean food. Everything is freshly prepared to order, so it may be a little wait during peak dinner hours. It's a bit pricey for an entree, but definitely worth it considering the volume of food is easily two portions. I introduced this establishment to my coworker, and she enjoyed it so much she came back two days in a row. I've really enjoyed the chicken shwarma plate with the red cabbage salad. It's different than what I expected since the salad was creamy instead of acidic. Surprised that it was mayo based. The cucumber yogurt side and seasoned rice was also a hit. On another occasion, I got their chicken kabob wrap with fries. I enjoyed the crispy battered fries. I've been back 4x and introduced two different people since they've opened last month. Decided to try new Kabob this last weekend and have mixed reviews. Clearly by the 4 star review I wasn't unhappy. I personally believe that since they JUST opened they have some issues to work out. I ordered the steak kabob and husband the chicken. Serving sizes were larger than our normal place, however, the steak was a bit tougher. Rice was yummy. I ordered the red cabbage as my side and was surprised it was a mayo dressing, tasty but different. Hummus amazing! Pita's were LARGE!! Tomato Cucumber salad was so good... OMGosh, I could eat a bowl a day and never get tired of it. In closing..... Price was comparable, serving sizes were larger and quality of meat just a bit lower. Will I eat here again? Got the kofta kabob with tabbouleh and potato salad. The kofta kabob was well seasoned and very tender, could tear apart with just the plastic fork. There is a bed of rice that was delish. Also the garlic sauce provided was smooth and tasty, not too spicy. The tabbouleh was refreshing. The potato salad was good as well, large chunks of potato and tasted great. The service was friendly and quick. Next time I would get the combo instead of just the entree size. The combo is a few bucks more for a whole skewer. Entree only comes with one skewer. read more

Ever since we read on Facebook about someone's experience trying out Tut's Kabob and how much they enjoyed it I've wanted to try it. We came today, March 8th and ordered the mixed kabob plate. We chose lamb and chicken kabobs with sides of baba ganoush and potato salad. They came on a bit of rice with a large piece of pita bread. There was also a small container of garlic sauce. I have not had that delicious or tender lamb in absolutely years. It was incredible! The chicken was also delicious as was the baba ganoush and the bed of rice the kebabs were on. Next time I am there, I will get hummus instead of the potato salad, which, while not bad, did not stand out in any way. They also had fabulous made in house baklava. All in all, a very nice experience. All of the food was served in to go containers, which made it easy to just pick up and take the leftovers home. We stopped in for lunch on Saturday at noon. We sat ourselves and no one came to serve us, after a few minutes my wife got up and went over to peak in the kitchen to let the staff know we were there - she came back and we continued to wait - no one came to serve us so we got up and left. 9 out 10 restaurants fail in the first year - I'm guessing this will be one of them based on the service we didn't receive. We won't be going back. There are a bunch of Mediterranean restaurants in the area that I'm guessing would be happy to have our business. Also just a note it wasn't busy there was only one other table being served in the restaurant. read more

I was mourning the loss of Rika's, but love Mediterranean food and decided to give it a try. Hands down the BEST around. We ordered a kofta plate and a mixed chicken and beef skewer plate, and I was amazed at the portion sizes and quality. All of the meats were seasoned perfectly, and the hummus was fluffy and smooth. We chose the cucumber yogurt salad, and it was so much more than just a side of tzatziki sauce... it was its own side dish! The cashier was really friendly, and made sure to bring us waters and have us sit on the restaurant side of the restaurant, where it was cooler, while we waited for our to go food. Great HEALTHY food options! Great service. A handful of my other favorite restaurants/cafes here in Glendora are not open on Mondays BUT thank goodness they're open here. They offer a GREAT food selection and they give you options. The char on my chicken kabobs gave it amazing flavors and it was still soft, juicy and great flavor on the inside. Came across the gem spot and it was amazing. I've only tried Damasquino's down the street which was a let down. There wasn't anyone eating inside and this place is new and deserves more customers as the portions are huge and the food is amazing. Freddy was the one who took our order and he was very welcoming and treated us like family. If this place was closer to me, I would have this every week. I'll definitely be coming here every time I'm in the area. I wish this place success as I don't want it to close down. I recommend the double chicken shawarma bites which come with fries and 2x garlic sauce. We also got the large kofta plate which came with 3x koftas, rice and your choice of 2 sides.
