I've never considered myself anywhere near strong at altitude tests until Young's ACT tutoring! In…read moremy initial ACT diagnostic test, I received a 23 composite, nothing unusual from my previous preACT and PSAT scores in school. At the beginning, I lacked confidence, but I was open to improvement. Young's ACT classes were well-paced, making it easy to manage with my busy soccer schedule and 5 AP classes during junior year. They were also surprisingly enjoyable, and I looked forward to classes in the positive, motivating environment. Young is such a genuine and caring person, acting as a continuous cheerleader, even when progress seems to plateau. We focused on each section individually, gaining exposure and explanations to all possible question types based on past ACTs that Young reviewed. Each section came with a summarized packet of question types, rules, formulas, and approach methods, which I found extremely useful when reviewing for my test.  Before starting classes, I filled out the information sheet and wrote a score of 32 for my realistic ACT goal. In the end, I surpassed my goal with a 34, my most significant improvement being in the English section from a 21 to 35! I highly recommend Young's classes for comprehensive preparation, frequent practice tests, and an encouraging environment.

So, come to education which is top priority to our family, we are looking for a place is not just grades driven but put kids interests first and working with their abilities. ILearn Education is definitely the right choice for our family. While only my 7 years old son goes to iLearn education, he has not only became the top student in his class, but he also learned how to be a independent student with minimum supervision. And again, he is only 2nd grade. ILearn offers a wide range classes from academic courses such as reading, writing, and math classes at different levels, but also interests/skill courses such as fashion design, cartoon design, public speaking/ debating and robotic courses. My boy started with couple robotic and science classes, and now enrolled into 5 different classes. All the teachers are all amazing! The organization share all the teachers' backgrounds, degrees and working experiences with the parents. All the classes are very creative and carefully designed by individual teachers themselves. I think the owners also have school age kids that all go there, and I believe one of the owner is extremely careful come to hiring teachers because she comes from very high education background herself. With the pandemic, the school only offers online classes for now. I don't know how those teachers keep the kids so engaged during the classes (1.5 hours each), but I definitely see outstanding results. Now, even with his regular elementary classes, he doesn't need any supervision to attend, participate and complete his independent works for distance learning modules. He also scored top 1% in one of the California Math standard test, and reading in 5th grade level. Public speaking is one of his favorite class. I sometimes overhear what they talk about in the class and thinking- wow, those kids are way smarter than me even as a second grader! We'll definitely keep attending iLearn Education. Hands down the best choice from my experience-worth very penny!
