She has helped her make incredible progress with letters, numbers, colors, shapes, and other foundational skills, while always making learning feel engaging and age-appropriate. Emily is warm, patient, dependable, and consistently punctual. What we especially appreciate is her ability to strike the perfect balance between being sweet and nurturing while also providing just enough structure and discipline to keep a young child focused and learning. She understands how to challenge our daughter without overwhelming her, which is such an important skill when working with toddlers. We've been incredibly happy with the progress we've seen and feel very fortunate to have Emily as part of our daughter's early learning experience. We highly recommend her!

I have been working with the Tutor Genius for 2 years now. First for test prep for my 4th grader…read moreand later I added general tutoring and academic support for my 4th grader and 6th grader. The tutors are top notch - both experienced, professional. Reza is awesome, he has paired me with tutors and is flexible and totally receptive to our needs and schedule changes. He gives you bios of tutors and you get to select your tutor and for any reason if it doesn't work out, you can change to another tutor. So far, I have only received the best tutors and never had any issue except for some minor scheduling issues that came up on my end and Reza resolved right away. It is nice to have a tutoring company that truly cares about each student and not just about collecting your money. The payment policy is also great because you get a discount for prepaid packages and if for any reason you need to cancel, you get your money back for the unused credits. I went to a bunch of other tutoring centers that charged much more and they had strict policies of buying prepaid and non refundable packages. I felt uncomfortable taking the risk of buying a huge package and not knowing if I liked the place. Also, with tutor genius the tutors come to your home which saves me the drive. All around convenient. Would recommend over and over again.

And she was compassionate and understanding of the challenge I was feeling between wanting my child to succeed but facing the financial burden of being a single parent. REACH is flexible and provides options for families with the students genuine interest at heart. They are willing to work with busy families to find the right tutor that will fit both in terms of personality and scheduling. My daughter is working with Mindy S and she is AMAZING. I purchased all 3 of Laura's study guides for the math CSETs. If I was only reviewing the first 2,…read morethis would absolutely be a 5-star review: they are amazing, thorough, and exactly what you need to pass! However, I cannot advise anyone to purchase part 3 in good-faith without a strong warning. The material is fine, and she is forthcoming about this study guide being "different", but once you purchase it you'll see the quality-disparity is pretty drastic in a not-so-great way. Laura provides videos where she goes through them, but the questions are not modeled after real CSET questions , which is the entire magic of the first 2. In addition, several of the worksheets assume we can use a calculator, but calculators aren't allowed on the CSET, which proves these questions and worksheets are NOT what we actually need for the test it's supposed to be guiding us on. While I am sure part 3 is sufficient to pass, it feels very bare-minimum compared to the first 2. I think pricing all 3 equally gave a false-impression, since the disparity in usefulness/uniqueness are massive. The first 2 study guides are unlike anything else out there, and set her apart from the rest; but I cannot advise anyone to purchase part 3 unless you don't have any other resources.

Before working with my English tutor, I was getting mostly Ds on my essays and struggling to organize my thoughts clearly. Since I started tutoring, my grades have gone up to A's! She's incredibly patient, explains things in a way that makes sense, and helps me build confidence in my writing. She doesn't just correct my grammar--she teaches me how to structure essays, strengthen my arguments, and write with more clarity and purpose. She even guided me on how to professionally ask my professor for a chance to revise a paper, which helped me raise a bad grade. So, I don't have a D in the class anymore because she helped me fix them and now I have an A.
