I have been working with the Tutor Genius for 2 years now. First for test prep for my 4th grader and later I added general tutoring and academic support for my 4th grader and 6th grader. The tutors are top notch - both experienced, professional. Reza is awesome, he has paired me with tutors and is flexible and totally receptive to our needs and schedule changes. He gives you bios of tutors and you get to select your tutor and for any reason if it doesn't work out, you can change to another tutor. So far, I have only received the best tutors and never had any issue except for some minor scheduling issues that came up on my end and Reza resolved right away. It is nice to have a tutoring company that truly cares about each student and not just about collecting your money. The payment policy is also great because you get a discount for prepaid packages and if for any reason you need to cancel, you get your money back for the unused credits. I went to a bunch of other tutoring centers that charged much more and they had strict policies of buying prepaid and non refundable packages. I felt uncomfortable taking the risk of buying a huge package and not knowing if I liked the place. Also, with tutor genius the tutors come to your home which saves me the drive. When we signed up for Tutor Genius back in 2021. Reza is great in communication and persistent. We were worried to give our credit card info for the $1,000 (20 lessons) draft because we were afraid Tutor Genius will keep auto draft even we stopped the service. Reza assured us that will not happen. After about 30-40+ lessons, we felt Tutor Genius was not right for us. Thus on January 2022, we wrote an email requesting to stop the service and stop the $1,000 auto draft. Unfortunately, we continue to see the $1,000 drafted from our credit card twice since January and April. Each time we have to email, text, call to get our money refund. Imagine if you don't check your credit card transactions, you will inadvertently pay Tutor Genius for no service. Beware. Now we have to call our credit card company to block Tutor Genius. read more

I can't say enough about these people. Great customer service, great quality tutors, and all at a fair price. In a matter of hours (literally - a phone call at 1130am and the tutor arrived at 430pm the same day) I had an excellent tutor sitting at the dining table helping my 16-yr old with AP US History - and she was enjoying it !!! I highly recommend The Tutor Genius. The tutor we selected was focused on our needs, worked well with our son, and challenged him to ensure he understood the topics they covered. In addition, she was encouraging which helped him gain confidence after one session. Our son went to school the next day with a renewed drive and strong sense of confidence. She (Melody) really worked with my daughter to make sure that my daughter could explain the content and not just solve basic problems - this really helped for the challenging test problems. Reza in the office is very nice and accommodating and provided me with lots of information to make sure I got the right fit for my daughter's needs. We chose Lindsey and couldn't be more happy. I would highly recommend theTutorGenius! I have had other tutors for my son, but none of them can compare to the TutorGenius. On the first meeting, my son's tutor gave him a small quiz to make sure he understood the fundamentals of Algebra 2. This never occurred with the other tutor companies I had for my son.
