It was more like a cappuccino with the thick foam (not microfoam) but with less volume. It looked like this place is known for the cinnamon buns so I will come back to try it. There are sandwiches too which are pre-made. Check out the items near the entrance which could make good gifts. Love the artwork too.

Came here last year before heading out for hike when we were visiting North Vancouver, and returned just a couple of weeks ago to fuel up again for stand up paddling in Deep Cove for a couple of hours. Now that they've added the PWR Fuel Bar, we also stopped in after paddling to get a yummy smoothie. A huge plus for us is that they have vegan baked goods that paired deliciously with our coffees. Our favorite is their Morning Glory muffin (vegan & gluten-free)! They also offer matcha lattes, and other food options like breakfast sandwiches, granola bowls, etc. There's plenty of seating inside as well as a big outdoor patio in the back. The staff were friendly all the times we popped in. They also sell other snacks, energy gels (helpful if you're headed out for a long trail run/hike/bike ride), kombucha, and even locally-made arts & crafts items. Will definitely be back when we return to Vancouver again soon!

I came from Deep cove it was so busy I just wanted to get out of there. I forgot to grab a coffee. So here I am, and in love. Plenty of treats and pastries. I grabbed a drip coffee. And looked at all the cool stuff they sale. Plenty of seating. Parking lot is not big but didn't have a problem getting one. I will be back!

Staff were friendly and somewhat helpful. The place charges extra for takeout cups, so I had my ice coffee in a reusable cup. However, the cup was beaten up and had cracks. I was wondering why the table kept getting wet (thought it was condensation), and didn't realize it until 1/4 of the cup had leaked out. When I brought it to their attention, they gave me an empty cup to pour the coffee into, but didn't offer to make me another one, which would've been nice. Knock 1 star off. As with other locations, the coffee tastes fine, but the price is a bit high compared to the competition.

I ordered the iced tea and I was not told there would be a cup fee. I was dining in, I could use a regular glass. Instead I was charged the cup fee and given a plastic to go cup instead. And I did say it was for here. I only found out after I paid and actually requested for the receipt. If I did not ask for receipt, I would be none the wiser. And when did North Van have this cup fee bylaw? How is that saving the environment or reducing plastic waste? That aside, the place is nice. Clean and spacious with tables along the windows. The AC was strong and wonderful on a hot summer day. The drinks and food are the same as other JJ Beans around town. There is nothing much in this strip mall, so I think this place mostly caters to the locals living and working in the area. A good place for coffee if you want to avoid the crowded Deep Cove area as it is as busy here.

The interior is pretty neat. They have seats made out of parts of cars, and even the front counter is half of an old school SL. Lots of classic car parts on the walls. Staff are friendly and chatty. No problems there. The coffee selection is pretty decent. They also have cold (sweet) drinks. I had the V12 latte. They put a neat little teddy bear in the foam. Would've been cooler if they put a MB logo instead, but all good. The only complaint is that the car themed couches and regular couches are at different heights. So my friend and I were looking up and down at each other. Wouldn't mind coming back to enjoy the car themed ambience and maybe try a pastry.
