The pub is a six-minute walk from the railway station and offers a selection of menu items that would work for a light mid-day meal. It was clean, uncrowded, and service was helpful and attentive. Hayden presented me with water and a menu, and I settled in for what turned out to be a great light lunch. I ordered the crispy Wagyu Gyoza dumplings (fried Wagyu Gyoza dumplings tossed in a Korean ginger BBQ sauce, topped with hot honey, sesame seeds, and gremolata, an Italian condiment made from chopped parsley, lemon zest, and garlic; $16CAD).
