    Buffalo chicken dip

Went here to see my friends band play. Pretty cool spot. It has a decent size dance floor which was nice. Bartenders were very attentive and the Buffalo chicken dip was fantastic.

First time at this establishment, it has a good dive bar feel, dark, open ceilings, horseshoe bar. We stopped in for a drink and a bit to eat. The bar tender was very attentive. The place had a stage that could accommodate a live band. I ordered the chicken tenders and tater tots. Not good, but not bad. I would say standard for bar food. I would order a different entree next visit.

Great local bar with good pizza and wings! Golf was rained out so the pool table and dart board were perfect for the night off. Bingo was in full effect and live music on the weekends...

Went here to meet some friends and watch a band. Had the buffalo chicken dip. It was amazing! Not only did I love it, I ordered another. Drinks were great and loved the whole atmosphere. Will definitely be back

What a great old school bar. The bartenders were fantastic! Everybody was really friendly and the band for the night was "Red Light Go" and they were a really tight band that played nothing but great songs! Took a Lyft home because my friend and I kept winning pool games and stayed much longer than anticipated!! Yea us!!! Happy Friday! I did not eat here but my buddy did and said the wings and cheese tots were great!!

Great place to get food and drinks! The music here really makes this place a great vibe and fun to be at. They have good beer deals too and happy hour is 11-8 can't get any better than that. Service is friendly and quick getting my drink order in just a couple of seconds. Nick is a great bartender please tell him I said so. The philly sub and italian sub are spot on and made to perfection. Their wings and quesadillas are just as great so come here for a great time. The patio is heated in the winter. They have two TVs outside, cornhole boards, and they even have a little fountain right outside the fence but you have to be attentive to notice where it is. Overall I'd say this bar offers a crazy night for a local bar when they have bands and a chill night with great food when they don't. PS it is my local bar see you soon -Thanks

Great happy hour with a heated outdoor cigar or smoking section. Bartender will remember you. Good drinks . Food is ok But drinks are generous. If you are a cigar person it's a must. Also try the peanut whiskey shots. Go with friends and have a good time. Yes I would take my friends there from out of town during happy hour. If you see me there please come up and say high and get a big hug. Lol

I came here to see some turtles but there is no creek or turtles. I was disappointed but the bartenders quickly served me with some drinks to ease my pain. Some band called Fat Dog played baller hits for hours and the bartenders kept my glass full so even though there were no turtles id give this bar a 4.9999999star. Will be back!!!?

Another reincarnation, essentially. It's no longer The Bar Next Door, and I won't kid you, I miss the ambience there. However, the new layout is nice. The TVs are over the bar now... if my count is correct, 14 screens, plus the two projection ones on the north wall with another flat in between. Should be able to find a sport on TV somewhere here. Beers are not quite as cheap as before, but there are still good specials each night. Continuing the trend Steve had with BND, they're putting some damn good stuff on tap. They have a Tailgate buffet for Buckeye games... 10 bucks, all you can eat. You can still order Chi Thai next door, so that's awesome.

    Side salad with veggies

Great staff, good food and free live music on the weekends! I ordered a side salad with veggies and was impressed! Lots of menu options and draft beer choices. Will be back.

That's actually a positive if you're looking for a spot where you can grab food and watch a game at the same time. In general, walking into a restaurant that's full is a good sign, so from the start I had high expectations. We were seated fairly quickly, which was great. However, it did take a while for our waitress to come over and take our order. That part was somewhat understandable, as she appeared to be the only server handling a large number of tables. While that's not her fault, it is a downside from a staffing perspective. Once we finally placed our orders, the food also took a bit longer than expected to come out. When it did arrive, though, it was hot and seemed very fresh. I ordered the loaded tater tots, which came topped with chili and cheese, with sour cream on the side. They were good overall, but I do think the chili could have been better--more meat and a slightly richer, more savory flavor would have gone a long way. We also ordered wings. Aside from a couple that were burnt, the wings were actually quite flavorful and enjoyable. Most of them were cooked well, and the seasoning was solid. The restaurant itself was clean and well maintained, which is always appreciated. The waitress was very kind and polite whenever she did come by, and I think most of the issues we experienced were simply due to how busy the restaurant was at the time. If we were to return during a slower period, I believe the experience would likely be much better overall. Would I recommend going here? Yes--with some caveats. If you're going primarily for the food, I wouldn't necessarily recommend visiting on a busy game night. However, if you're going to watch a game, enjoy the atmosphere, and grab some food at the same time, it's worth giving a try. Hopefully it won't be so busy that things come out rushed or slightly off, like a few items did for us. Overall, the experience was decent. It wasn't amazing, and it wasn't terrible. Aside from a few burnt pieces of chicken, most of the food was flavorful, and the atmosphere made up for some of the shortcomings.

My husband got the Korean BBQ Scotch Egg (so different but very tasty), BBQ glazed meatloaf with garlic mashed potatoes, lemon chilli green beans (he normally doesn't like his vegetables, but he said these were so fresh and tasty), and Espresso Martini Pot De Crème. I had the Italian Wedding Soup (very good but did not have the meatballs), Pasta Bolognese (pasta was cooked perfectly and drained properly, so it did not water down the sauce!), and Apple Pie Mousse. I also got one of their mocktails called Brambleberry Tea. I could have easily drunk a couple of those! I forgot mention that they pour some nicely chilled water from a bottle that they leave on the table when you sit down. That is a nice touch for us since that is our choice of beverage when we eat. We were treated so warmly by everyone from the time we walked in until we left. Our server, Tyler, asked if we had been before (and this was our first time), so he welcomed us and asked if we had any questions. He was attentive during our time and even asked my husband if he needed any more sauce for his meatloaf. Marvin, the manager, stopped by to see how our first experience went and wanted to invite us back by gifting us coupons for an appetizer on our next visit. Thank you! The atmosphere was rustic and casual. I loved the picture frames hanging (used like walls) and lots of exposed bricks. The bathrooms were clean, well-stocked, and warm. We are looking forward to coming back to try the regular menu!

Started with the tots, which were really good, but they weren't loaded, just cheesy and a little sauce on time. We asked for the pork on the side and didn't get it at all. My dad and I ordered brunch- avocado toast for me and the skillet pancake for my dad- and they were both cold. Not warm, mine didn't have any warmth at all. My mom's mac and cheese looked awesome, very warm, and her grilled cheese dip plate was too, and she loved them. I knew I didn't want to eat my meal as-is, and was going to ask them to at least warm it up, but my waitress never came back to check on us for so long that my parents were almost done eating (my dad ate his cold, but ice cold egg was a no-go for me). He had to wave her down to come back to us, and I just decided to not bother and they took it off the bill. She also forgot to refill my coffee, but the manager came over I asked for it from him. He explained that the toppings on the avocado toast make it cold, so I guess be warned. Disappointing visit for sure.
