Nanuet, NY - located at the Nanuet Town Center (formerly known as the Shops at Nanuet), Go Playland…read moreis one of the newest indoor play spaces in Nanuet. I switch up several play venues with my toddler and this is probably my favorite one. Why? 1. The play gym structure has a lot of variety and gives a good workout for my kiddo. We've been to a larger complex in NJ and another maze-like one nearby, but this is the perfect size for my older toddler, with just as much to do and explore, while not easily losing sight of your kids. 2. Admission is $20 for all day in/out access (includes an adult. $5 for additional adults). There's no snack bar inside but this means you can leave to eat something and come back. We usually like to grab a bite at Sombrero Tacoria just a few doors over, or Patsy's Pizzeria in the other direction. Babies and younger kids have a separate play area with a playhouse, pretend play structures, wooden train set, oversized Lego blocks, and Magnatiles. The front has a seating area with tables and seats where kids can take a snack break and parents can hang. The facility is clean and in great condition.

Last time I went, there were two women who consecutively changed their baby's diapers inside the play area, right in front of the slides. I told the worker about this as I was leaving but I doubt he did anything about it since he was sitting outside, and continued to browse on his phone as I was driving away.

It's not huge but sufficient for a child to have fun and get a good workout. It opened only last summer so is very new and not too crowded. The facilities are clean and bright, and there are free small lockers and shoe cubbies for you to store your stuff. In the back is a birthday party area, where there is also a basketball hoop toss, kid-sized air hockey table, and a small Lego table. We came on a day when they had a character meet & greet which was cool as the kids got to take photos with them. Rates are reasonable and you can book 1-2 hours or a day pass. Mon-Fri from 10-11am is "Toddler Hour" for kids 4 and under, with a discounted admission rate. They seem quite popular for birthday parties and sometimes the whole place gets booked out for private parties so call ahead or check their IG/FB page for any schedule announcements. It's well-located in a corner of The Shops at Nanuet (an open-air mall), ground level under Regal cinema, so easy parking and places to eat close by. 4 stars but bumping to 5 because there's just a lack of good indoor kids playgrounds/gyms in this area.

Never bother going here. The door is more often than not locked. My daughter has been disappointed…read moreby this place at least 3 times now...
