UPDATE 10/4/22 12:45 pm HE just called me threatening to come to my house because he doesn't like the negative review I left here calling me harassing me Scheduled an appointment for an estimate to have some stumps removed, the appointment time came and went so I called to inquire where they were and could get them to answer the phone so I left a voicemail telling them if they couldn't arrive on time for the appointment why would I use them to do work at my home. A short while later I received this text Hi James, You were told it was going to be a stop by between 9:30 -10:30 , it's only 10:35 , Please keep in mind that there is traffic. Sometimes are supervisor do get hold up at other appointment. Our supervisor will be there shortly , since this was not a meet but a stop by . ty No phone call just a text. Nor a call to tell me they are running late and an update on their arrival time. This year we had a mild winter. There was only one plowable snowstorm so far. Because they will only do contractual arrangements whether there is snow or not, you must pay the contractual amount. During the warmer winter months, they would spread salt on my essentially dry driveway. As a result, I have paid $1036 for the season ($259 per month) The one plow I needed was done by another plow person in the neighborhood at 10 am. Turning Green showed up at approximately 3 pm, shoveled a walkway and spread salt. The average number of snowstorms during a winter here is 8. If we had 8 storms, it would average $129.50 per plow. I have a short driveway, pictured below. If you are a business and require extensive salting for any potential iciness, they work great for that. I basically bought a snow insurance plan. read more

It's a good thing I'm not entertaining this summer! Within one week, my lawn went from full, plush, and green to concentrated clusters of dead patches along my front lawn and walkway, alongside my currently-dying flower bed. It took several phone calls and an email to get Oscar to respond to me. And when he finally did show up, he said my lawn was victim to a fungus that occurs after a heavy rain. And the leaves of my flowers had a fungus too. He even encouraged me to look it up online. Hmmm....a fungus that only affects a concentrated section of my lawn?? Looks like a result of careless work and a chemical spill on my front lawn. It's a shame because I've been using Turning Green for several years and have been more than pleased with the way my lawn looked up until this point. The customer service, after been a long-time customer, is even more disappointing. read more
