18 hours ago The crew of Precision Cutting Services just completed multiple tree trimmings a a few removals and I feel compelled to write a glowing review. The 3 man crew(Bill, Brian,& Nick were most pleasant and worked together well. They performed the job very efficiently and were very neat in their cleanup. My yard looks so much cleaner! The price was very reasonable and comparable to 2 other estimates, in fact less expensive. Bill the owner and his wife , Yolanda, were very easy to work with. The timing was altered due to weather and other more urgent jobs. Overall, I highly recommend Precision Cutting Service for any tree related work needed as a home owner for 40 years who has a lot of experience with home services. A 5 star business. read more

I needed just a tree trim to stop the critters from climbing the tree and getting on my roof. Paul came out to look at the job. The team came a few days later and trimmed the tree, cleaned up without me (or anyone from my family) there. They did exactly what I expected and it looks great. I cant say enough good things about Paul and his team. We had a very LARGE tree fall onto our house. Paul came to asses the situation and had his team there and ready while we were still wrapping our heads around the damage and with insurance adjusters, firemen and housing inspectors running in and out of our house it was a blessing for him to advise us on the process. Milton, Memo, Matt and Harry worked tireless in the heat and sun without a complaint. They were pleasant, proficient and never stopped for the 2 days they were there. Anything salvageable was placed to the side without hesitation. They made a stressful situation less painful with their immaculate cleanup. The team did a great job on my yard. Paul was out quickly to do an estimate on exactly what I wanted done. Needed stumps brought down to ground level, 7 or 8 trees removed and some brush removed from the property. On the scheduled day I came home from work with all the work complete and virtually no trace of them being there with the exemption to what I wanted gone...gone! My yard looks so good and makes me happy every time I walk out the back door. The trees are gone and all the stumps are practically gone. They left my yard clean and in good shape as in there was no damage to the grass or yard. They were quick and I was charged exactly for what the estimate was. I would recommend Paul and his team to anyone and plan on using them again in the future at my parent's house. read more

I am updating my earlier review on this landscaping/snowplowing contractor. This past winter in CT has been very tough, but I was pleasantly surprised to see that, even when it snowed throughout the night, the parking lot was passable by early morning. We have no garages, so this is important. Also, many times, I heard people outside shoveling and snowblowing before I was even out of bed and they sanded and salted the walkways, since there were slippery spots all over the complex. I did not mention in my earlier review that the landscaping from spring thru fall was satisfactory. I know no company can please everyone, but this company is really trying hard to please. Turning to Precision Cutting Services to take down 4 towering oaks (really 5, since one had full-height double trunks) was probably the best decision my wife and I have ever made as homeowners. Paul Skerritt came within a day or two to check out our needs, and offered a proposal that was extremely reasonable, costing thousands less than what several other companies were asking. On the day the Precision Cutting crew and their equipment arrived at our home (at 8 am sharp) they set right to work, and other than a lunch break, they worked through the day with remarkable energy, teamwork, care, and skill. By 4pm, all the trees had been taken down, the logs had been carefully stacked for removal by Paul, and the yard had been cleaned up. The work had been completed in one day, though other tree companies had projected a need for 2 to 3 days to do the same. From start to finish, from Yolanda Skerritt, who was so helpful with the office side of the project, to Paul and every member of his crew as they worked on the site, our experience with Precision Cutting could not have been more satisfying. These guys are the absolute worst. Not only was their quoted price about 25% higher than others I talked to, they are impossible to get a hold of. After weeks of telling me that they'd schedule the job, I'm left still waiting. There are a lot of other options out there and I would strongly suggest you do research on them. read more

Just had a large tree cut down....it was an unusual job as the tree was surrounded by a deck and in close proximity to the house........the crew was very professional....job was done within about 4 hours and the clean up they did was great.....they also cleaned the street where some of the chips had fallen.........I would definitely recommend Precision Cutting Services...... read more

I would recommend Precision Cutting Services to anyone needing tree service. My neighbor's tree fell on my house and I went to the internet to find a tree service. Paul was out to give me an estimate within a half hour of calling them, gave me a very reasonable quote (over a thousand dollars less than other quotes I received!), and was at my house early the next morning to start the work. The crew was respectful, hard working, and very knowledgeable. Yolanda in the office was available for all my questions regarding payment.
