Originally gave me a quote, and provided me with his "insurance", but never called me back and hasn't returned my phone calls. I believe the insurance he provided was for lawn care, and wasn't designed to cover tree removal; and when I asked about this he stopped returning my calls. In our last conversation he implied he would have the insurance confirm it was for tree removal after the weekend on the first business day, but as it turns out, now he's ghosting me. Made me waste a week thinking I found a company to do the work I required. I could have spent that time looking for a company that could do the work. Basically multiple reviews for his former business echo this sentiment. This is why he renamed his business from Hillcrest to Hill.

The part that was splitting away was pointed at our house and if it fell it would have covered the front part of our house doing pretty significant damage. I set about calling tree services and spent a restless night worrying the wind was going to finish the job. After not getting any xall backs on Saturday morning, I called Dan from Teee Tactics after giving up on the other services. He returned my call within minutes and an hour later ,on a Saturday, was in my driveway. He was able to get up there and secure the trunk with rope until he could return with his lift truck to put in new cabling in the appropriate spot. By 430 he was done, our tree was saved and our house safe. I already have him coming back to do some trimming and removing another dead tree. I am a small business owner myself and I cannot express how happy I am to receive the type of service I provide my customers.

Since they were available when we needed them and they were very accommodating on phone we decided to give them a shot and cross fingers. This was a major and risky 3 large tree removal job tight between two houses. They took amazing care of the properties and brought in significant equipment to make the job as easy as possible, for a not-easy job! They not only performed skillful and flawlessly, but they went as far as preserving very close ornamental trees! Witkowsky & Sons was the lowest quote of the 3 local companies I compared. There were 3 guys who came to do the work and they knew what they were doing. They made sure to remove all my lawn lights before driving in and asked to make sure they wouldn't be working over my well or septic tank. I watched them strategically cut the trees all day and was really impressed by how they did it! They picked up the logs a day or two after and later finished grinding the stumps once they got the machine fixed. I will say that they left all the wood chips on my yard after stump grinding, but maybe that service wasn't included. Overall, I would recommend this company and would use them again in the future
