Honesty & Integrity! We needed to have a dead cherry tree removed from our front yard this spring…read more I found Denisi after another local company we have used previously, told us that they were too busy to come out for a small job right now... When I first reached to Denisi Tree, the owner returned my call the same day and came out to give us an estimate that same week. The price we were given for the tree removal and stump grinding was very fair, and less than what we had been quoted by another company. We were happy to hear that he could fit us in for the work quickly as well! The work was done on time, as promised, and the tree was removed with no issues. We were very happy with their service! We will be using Denisi tree from now on in the future! I also might add...we have two very large trees in our backyard, one of which is now starting to grow a sideways to get around the branches of the other. We were told last year by our previous tree company that the tree starting to grow sideways could not be trimmed up, but rather needed to be removed entirely. I was not a big fan of this idea because, personally,I think chopping down trees for no reason is not good for the environment, and the two trees look pretty (especially for a hammock), AND they wanted to charge us a $1800 for doing so. When I ask Bob Denisi about the "sideways" tree when he came out for our estimate, he did NOT try to sell us on removing the tree. IN FACT, he talked me into just leaving the tree alone and said we didn't even really need to trim it up right now. He explained that the two trees are actually growing together as a unit now, and trimming one too much could affect the other tree... "Wait, you're not trying to convince me to spend more money and sell me something I don't need?!" We really appreciated that! Honesty & Integrity as a business owner goes a long way and keeps customers coming back. We would definitely recommend Denisi Tree!

I spoke to a handful of tree companies before hiring Jeff at Madd Beaver. Lets not focus on those…read moreother guys though. Madd Beaver came to me as a reference, first off they showed up on time every time. Estimate started with being handed a copy of the company's liability insurance policy declaration page. So for those of you that don't know why this is such a big deal, there are 20-30 companies around the tri-state area operating without insurance or even proper licensing for every one that does it by the books. You have to hire a contractor that has the right insurance and policies in place, it goes hand in hand with experience and knowledge. After this was a walk through of the property, discussing options and a through explanation of how the area would be protected during work. I was given a verbal estimate and shook hands to seal the deal right then. This is how much confidence they built in their abilities. Price was not the highest but it was by far not the lowest. I believe you get what you pay for and short changing a big tree job to save a few thousand is not worth it. I was texted a start date and at 9am on that day they were outside and ready to go. The job was completed exactly as discussed, no games and no shortcuts. Upon completion the crew cleaned up everything perfectly. I unequivocally recommend this company. I could not be happier!

I sent pictures of the weeds and received an email back saying the weeds were only around my driveway which is normal. The weeds are in my entire lawn not just my driveway, and I was told I would need to pay them 94 more dollars to get rid of something called nutsedge on my lawn. They wanted me to pay more money for a service that they supposed to provide in the first place. I was hoping they would say we will come out and give an extra treatment, but my only option was to pay for an extra treatment. I would recommend a different company before I hired them again as their customer service is lacking. i will be using a different company next year.
