Called, they told me it would now be 660 plus tax, and they'd resend it. It's now Sunday of that following week and we never got the written quote or a phone call. In the mean time, we had two other people quote, selected one (insured and licensed - Centi Landscaping), and they removed the tree in 2 hours for $400 inc. tax 5 days ago (excellent job; no adjacent plants damaged). If you hire Paradise, you risk your yard becoming anything but.  We hired Paradise to remove a…read morenumber of weak/dying trees in our property, as well as to do some brush removal. So where to begin?  TL;DR: Hire Paradise only if you want them to: (1) destroy your lawn; (2) cut your beautiful dogwood tree without being asked; (3) use your lawn as a storage area for their large equipment for over a month; (4) see how long they can drag out the job.  THE DEETS: 1. Paradise destroyed our lawn- mostly because they chose to do work in the rain. They drove their heavy machinery on our lawn during a steady rain, killing the grass and causing deep grooves everywhere.  They did not use any rope or other lowering mechanism when cutting the trees. By letting branches and chunks of tree just fall freely to the ground, they caused large divots all over our lawn. They also dragged logs across the lawn, uprooting and killing more grass. Doing it in the rain definitely didn't help - no one told them to work in the rain. We never rushed them or told them to hurry up and start working. They did not lay down any mats or boards; they simply drove their vehicles and machines directly onto our lawn.  While it was raining (sorry, can't get over this fact). They were not apologetic; they just told me I should have  known there would be some damage.  Yes, but look at the photos - this is UNREASONABLE damage.  2. They cut two large branches of our dogwood tree - we did not tell them to cut this, and they were not supposed to cut this tree. We have no idea why they cut these branches. They did not tell us. They did not acknowledge this until we pointed this out to them. There was no apology. They just stated that it was a clean cut and they couldn't do anything now that they already cut it.  The beautiful dogwood did not need to be cut. They gave us a small credit - only after we asked for it.  Sap kept streaming from the tree where it was cut for a couple days.  We hope the tree stays healthy and survives. 3. They started the work in mid-April. They finished in early June.  Yes, sometimes it rained and they couldn't work (this was AFTER we told them they should not be doing any work when it's raining or when our lawn is still wet - we thought this was an industry standard - or at least common sense). There were some beautiful sunny days/weeks, but they did not come. That did not stop them from leaving their equipment on our property. We started wondering whether we should charge them rent. We had to contact them to ask if they were going to come back and finish the job because we hadn't heard from them in weeks.  Half the time they did not respond to our calls/emails requesting updates. We tried our best to be patient; we did not call regularly - but we did want to know if they would come back after nearly 2 weeks of no update... and some pretty darn nice days and a lawn dry enough for us to mow (which we did... around their equipment and mess). 4. We indicated our dissatisfaction the second day of work, and they agreed that they would try to fix/re-seed where the grass has now died. They did fill in and try to even out some areas, re-seed, and lay down some straw - perhaps they underestimated how much damage they did because they were unable to completely fill in the areas with soil and they ran out of topsoil and straw.  But by that point, we were done and ready to move on with our lives. Ironic though because their website says: "We care for your landscape as if it were our own." I would be sorry to see their lawns if they treated their lawns like they treated ours - our lawn was a sorry sight after they were done.  We don't know what quality grass they put down; they insisted it was comparable quality to what we have and will grow back every year.  If it grows back well next year, maybe I'll add a star.  Maybe. They do deserve the one star I have to give: at least they cut the trees we hired them to cut.... eventually.

They not only performed skillful and flawlessly, but they went as far as preserving very close ornamental trees! Honesty & Integrity! We needed to have a dead cherry tree removed from our front yard this spring…read more I found Denisi after another local company we have used previously, told us that they were too busy to come out for a small job right now... When I first reached to Denisi Tree, the owner returned my call the same day and came out to give us an estimate that same week. The price we were given for the tree removal and stump grinding was very fair, and less than what we had been quoted by another company. We were happy to hear that he could fit us in for the work quickly as well! The work was done on time, as promised, and the tree was removed with no issues. We were very happy with their service! We will be using Denisi tree from now on in the future! I also might add...we have two very large trees in our backyard, one of which is now starting to grow a sideways to get around the branches of the other. We were told last year by our previous tree company that the tree starting to grow sideways could not be trimmed up, but rather needed to be removed entirely. I was not a big fan of this idea because, personally,I think chopping down trees for no reason is not good for the environment, and the two trees look pretty (especially for a hammock), AND they wanted to charge us a $1800 for doing so. When I ask Bob Denisi about the "sideways" tree when he came out for our estimate, he did NOT try to sell us on removing the tree. IN FACT, he talked me into just leaving the tree alone and said we didn't even really need to trim it up right now. He explained that the two trees are actually growing together as a unit now, and trimming one too much could affect the other tree... "Wait, you're not trying to convince me to spend more money and sell me something I don't need?!" We really appreciated that! Honesty & Integrity as a business owner goes a long way and keeps customers coming back. We would definitely recommend Denisi Tree!

I called this business on a Thursday about a clogged sprinkler pipe and was told they would get…read moreback with me to set up an appointment. The following Thursday I received a call (went to voice-mail) saying that they could schedule me the following week. I understand a storm got in the way but to wait almost 2 weeks is a bit much for a simple fix. Anyway, when I listened to the voice-mail it said that if I was interested in becoming a full time customer (meaning turn on and off system) they would set an appointment, if I didn't want to be a full timer they couldn't accept me as a customer. If I needed someone to fix a problem chances are I would need someone to open/ close the system too so I would've become a full time customer. You can't make someone commit to an ongoing thing like that before you actually take care of their problem first. PS: I called another company they explained they were extremely busy but they would have somebody swing by to look at it the next day at the end of their shift and then set an appointment accordingly. They came by and 20 minutes later it was fixed and that company now has me as a new full time customer with 3 properties for them to take care of. The worker swung by, and told me there is an automatic switch in the basement. It took less than 5 minutes to check the whole condition of the system, and they sent the invoice of $150 with details of what "works" need to be done (totaling about $1000 such as repositioning sprinkler heads). When I said the invoice of $150 for a quick visit seems a bit too high, they said they would deduct the $150 when we work with them in the future and we contacted that we would like to move sprinkler heads, but some of the services that they listed won't be needed, they said "more work needs to be done than just moving and replacing 4 heads. We are not interested in just moving the 4 heads, more work is needed." This is a direct quote from the owner. When we replied that we would only need to move heads, they do NOT even respond to our emails or requests. If you want to pay $150 for (literally) minutes-visit, and A VERY LONG, REQUIRED list of jobs... go ahead. We learned our expensive lessons a hard way. NEVER AGAIN.
