I have used them for two years . This year when they did the lime application they left it all over my driveways . After 4 calls I finally got a call back from the technician. The answer was the next time it rains it will get washed away. In the mean time I have two driveways that look like they had a small snow storm on them. Our experienc with CT Turf Specialists started by accident with an inadvertent application which could have hindered the work we had already done ourselves. Sean worked with us to correct the situation and even came out next day to perform aeration and overseeding. They did a thorough job and it actually looks like aeration should - we had it done 3 times last year by a national company and it never looked this good. The response time by Sean was great to the challenge and when we discussed a service I was looking to do in the fall, he recommended I try another approach, as it would be very expensive and probably not produce what we wanted - appreciate him looking out for our bottom line, and not his! We have tried other lawn companies before we settled on CT Turf and can honestly say, we have never been more pleased with our lawn. They let us know when they will be coming. We started using Ct Turf 1 1/2 seasons ago.Since they started here our lawn has never looked so good.They were honest and saying how long it would take her long to get up to snuff. And after one and a half seasons the lawn looks beautiful. We have a few issues but they will correct it and by next season our lawn will be pristine. I'm sorry to say that my experience was poor. I hired this company for tick control. I personally observed that the entire back property line was skipped. That could have been rectified except for the denial and nastiness and rudeness I encountered when I reported that to the owner. He refused to send the technician back out to finish the job and told me he has never had any complaints and that I didn't know what I was talking about. Disappointed that a business chooses to be dishonest. I informed their employee John (owners cousin) last spring that I got a puppy and no longer wanted poison sprayed on my lawn. He was next door at my neighbors when I advised him not to come next door to us and not to spray and he did not. We put up a fence that their machine would not fit through the gate. Never heard another word from CT Turf. They had sprayed my property for a few years prior to this and thought we had a friendly relationship. Never got a bill and never received a phone call asking for any kind of payments. Always paid cash to them at the start of each season - they like to be paid cash. A few months ago which was more than a year later I got a notice from a collection agency stating that I owed CT Turf money. Explained they never performed services for that season and I never signed a contract for them to come out for a new year of service and never agreed for automatic renewal without my permission. They didn't listen to reason just wanted to be paid. Called and tried to speak with owners. Danielle was rude and lied directly to me telling me she called me many times to let me know I owed them money. Not true - never got a call. Called again and Sean put me on hold for more than 30 minutes and finally came back to the phone and said I'll call you back in a few minutes. He never called me back. More lies... I guess dishonesty is the way they chose run their business. I should have known better because of a comment made to me first year we had them spray our lawn, Sean said we can give a cash discount what the government doesn't know won't hurt them. A year ago I would have recommended this company - after all these lies over $100 I'd say use another company for you lawn weed needs. I saw another review that the customer said they were charged for spraying that was never done. I believe it. If I didn't pay them then why did they supposedly keep spraying my lawn for an entire season of nonpayment? Especially when they knew I always came in and paid cash before the start of the season.
