I recently needed to remove a very large maple tree that had suffered some damage during a storm. It was a concern to us that future storms could cause further damage to both the tree and surrounding property. Paulo's came to determine the status of the tree and what options were available. We agreed that the risk of further damage was great and that its falling down was inevitable. I was given a very reasonable quote for the tree removal and was able to schedule the work within a few weeks. Paulo's crew arrived as scheduled with up to date equipment and protective coverings for the lawn. The work was done skillfully and with great attention to avoiding any damage to landscaping and property. They worked continuously and cleaned up without virtually any debris or sawdust. The entire crew were extremely professional and polite. It was an entirely satisfying experience. read more

First rate service from beginning to end. I had 3 extremely tall trees in my yard in Orange that needed removal. Requested an estimate from Paulo's via the website and received an immediate reply. Paulo arrived the following day and assessed the 3 trees needing removal as well as giving me helpful information about many other trees on my property. He was extremely knowledgeable and friendly. The crew of 5 men and top notch equipment arrived a few days later as promised. They completed all the work in one day and took precautions not to damage my yard (protective mats for my walkway and grass). Paulo was there off and on throughout the day to keep me up to date and oversee the crew. Great customer communication and professionalism in every way! Thank you Paulo read more

I hired Paulo Landscaping & Tree Removal to take care of my lawn. His crew keeps my property looking good. They work safely and are considerate. They're also professional; orange cones mark their trucks on the road, & landscapers' bright shirts make the workers easy to see. Paulo answers my calls quickly. I also hired Paulo's for tree work. There were several tall and dying trees, including some hovering over my house. Again, the workers were considerate & professional. They worked diligently in the summer heat. The results were excellent. All of my concerns were taken care of and my property was clean when the job was finished. Everything went well and I can't say enough good things about the company! read more

I am so glad we hired Paulo's Landscaping & Tree Removal to remove 7 huge pine trees that surrounded our house! The crew did a great job, were very professional, considerate of any concerns we had, and they are very good at what they do! I could tell they consider safety to be very important, and they took great care to not damage certain plants that were in the danger zone under the trees, which was impressive. They cleaned up each day and at the end of the job, and the men are very nice, as well! The cost was very competitive, and I was happy with the whole process from start to finish! I will definitely use them again if needed. (I'm in CT, not sure why Yelp thinks I'm from CA) read more

Pricing - CHECK I especially appreciate the fact that Paulo told me that, although I wanted the job done as soon as possible, my property was too wet (we've had quite a bit of rain) and that he didn't want me to be upset if his equipment impacted my lawn. He was 100% right! I only waited an extra week, and his team took great care to ensure that the work was done perfectly and, looking at my lawn, you'd never even know that these huge trucks were ever there! I am the president of the Pierpont Hill Association at North Haven Inc. and we have been using Paulo Landscaping for the past 6 years. There are 46 acres of land and 148 units all impeccably landscaped. From mulching, edging, spring and fall cleanups, there is no one who does it better with the best crew around. The whole crew is experienced and has been with Paulo for many years. I used to have to follow around the previous landscaper and would get constant calls from angry homeowners complaining about the service. That never happens with Paulo. They know what to do and I rarely get complaints from residents. Highly recommend Paulo Landscaping. read more

My husband and I cannot say enough about Paulo's Landscaping and Tree Removal. Paulo visited us, reviewed what we wanted, told us how he was going to accomplish the task and did it ! His price was reasonable compared to other contractors. He did a complete job, even putting topsoil, seed and hay in the very small area that was affected by the truck. It had rained for the entire week before and we were impressed at the care they gave our lawn while accomplishing their job. We look forward to doing another tree project with Paulo in the future. Paulo and his team just took down a very huge tree in the front of our house. They did a FANTASTIC job. Very professional, showed up when they were supposed to, worked in a very businesslike manner, were very courteous, and cleaned up everything when they were done. The results are beautiful, but the peace we feel knowing this cancerous tree can't fall on our house is worth the world to us. The price was also very reasonable. I would highly recommend Paulo's Landscaping & Tree Removal and would definately use his services again. Thanks Paulo! Dave A. West Haven read more

From the moment I reached out for a quote, their team was professional, responsive, and incredibly knowledgeable. They helped us completely transform our yard -- trimming overgrown trees, removing a few hazardous ones, and redesigning our landscaping to make it both beautiful and low-maintenance. What impressed me most was how efficient and tidy they were. They showed up on time, worked quickly, and left the space cleaner than they found it. Our property looks absolutely amazing now, and we've already received compliments from neighbors! read more

Mount Carmel tree dropped the ball when it came to removing a massive oak tree for my neighbor and I. They came in, set up all their equipment one day, next day they pulled everything out and left without even calling to let us know he wasn't doing the job anymore. Paulo came in and took the whole tree down in a day and finished up the trunk the second day. Couldn't ask for a better company to of done the work. We got prices for double what he charged us, and the work was better than those companies would have done I'm sure. read more

We called Paulo's Landscaping to cut down 2 trees that were dead, he pointed out 2 others that didnt look good and he feared next big storm they may fall on our home or horse barn. Paulo's is absolutely fantastic going above & beyond. Their equipment is top notch & they are so careful of the property using heavy rubber mats to protect the property from their equipment. His quote was on time; they showed up on time (even a little earlier). Clean & neat. They even ground out a stump we had from a tree we had cut down several years ago - a welcome surprise. Just fabulous. Wonderful crew. read more
