I emailed and Hector replied that it was because all of the rain...then it was the heat. In reality, I was too small time for them to show up. It's now been 3 and 1/2 and no one has come out. My last email inquiring whether they are intending to service my property was completely ignored. I guess I know the answer. I'd love to get the quality of service others have been raving about in these reviews, but I'm not getting any service at all. I don't know what I said or did, I paid the full invoices I received within 20 min of receiving it, even though they didn't provide weekly service promised. Am I too small of a customer? I was told they value all their customers. I want to believe that. In a 3 months and a half I received service 3 times out of out of the 14 weeks! How do I ever recommend this company to anyone? Terrible.

I didn't do a moisture test yet, but knocking many pieces together it seemed like most pieces sounded dry. As far as volume, you definitely get a full cord and then some. I stacked the wood and definitely got my 128 cubic feet worth. I did ask how they seasoned the wood, and like just about everyone else they pile it up for about a year or so. Any accomplished wood burner can tell you that is no way to properly season wood, so in actuality the wood I paid for is probably only 1/2 way seasoned. My recommendation for buying wood from anyone in Connecticut is to buy "seasoned" wood in the Spring, store it exposed to sun/wind all summer and then it will be good to go by winter. 4 stars. 3 stars for excellent service, delivering the wood within 24 hours of my call, and 1 extra star for selling the seasoned wood at a reasonable price. They don't get a final star because the seasoning is a little suspect.

A simple business with a few key products for landscaping…read more Mulch, decorative stone, and base materials like sand, stone dust, process, trap rock, and topsoil. That's pretty much the long and the short of it. I found the perfect match for the stone beds that came along with my new home, so I only needed a yard of the "2-inch Minus River Rock" they sell to do some patchwork. Check that - I probably needed a half a yard. At least 2/3 of what I bought is now sitting in a pile behind my shed. LOL, I guess you gotta learn the hard way sometimes. Anyway, it was $60 for the yard, $35 to dump it at my home. They were there in 30 minutes so I could get started quickly on my landscaping project. I know, I could have spent less renting a truck and just getting half a yard, but $100 was well worth the beautiful results. The only slight complaint is that the load was kinda dirty. Maybe I should have known this in advance - they were getting low on the product when I arrived, so it was almost inevitable that some dirt was going to come along with it. Still, we are talking about decorative stone here. I guess a few rainstorms will clean everything up... not a huge deal. Everyone is really nice. I even once got an unsolicited callback after they didn't pick up the phone. I was just asking about their hours, but a very thoughtful gesture nonetheless.

We have an enclosed courtyard with a blue fieldstone patio.. the original from 1970 still here when we bought the place. The stones were all uneven, rocked and moved alot when you walked on them and there were some really old ugly shrubs in here that had to go .. we wanna do our own planting, etc. out there. We weren't even sure this company would take on our job ... figured it might be small potatoes to a place that, from their website, does some really nice landscaping and bigger jobs. Greg came over for the estimate visit and couldn't have been nicer. Never made us feel like this was too small a job for them .. he was very enthusiastic about the job, give us all the details and his recommendations re: what should be done and set the date. Based on the good reviews for this company on other sites and the confidence we felt, we booked him right on the spot. The nicest surprise we got was when they called a week earlier than we expected and ask if we wanted them to come out and do the job the next day! We jumped at it and told him very definitely. This job involved ripping and digging up 3 old bushes with huge root balls, flattening and re-soiling the entire planting area .. and the big part -- pulling up about 100 of our existing fieldstones, re-sanding and compacting/flattening the surface, then carefully re-laying our old stones nice and tight. They did this entire job in one long day ... and its perfect. We love the patio -- it looks 10 times better than we even thought it would ... can't wait to have people over and make them jealous now! I give the A+ Landscaping guys my highest recommendation. The people are great, the job they did was great and the price was definitely fair too. Great company!

If you don't see a stock item you'd like, plenty of other options in the showroom. These are legit pavers, not the generic home depot off stock. Speaking of, I initially went to home depot to choose and price my patio pavers. Thank god I saw them installed at a friends house and didn't buy them! I went to premier equipped with nothing by the length and width of my project, picked out a patio paver and was given an aggressive quote. Like you, I work hard for my money. You better believe I shopped it. No one even came close! I didnt even have to haggle. I seriously assumed they made a pricing mistake as it was in the ballpark of the low quality Home Depot paver. While I'm an avid DIYer, YouTube cant equip you for every random scenario while you are learning to install your patio. The same person who helped me pick out my patio was the one that talked me through the process.
