If you are looking for a landscape designer who is creative, knowledgeable, and enthusiastic, who promptly returns your calls/text/emails, genuinely loves her work, has a thorough hard working crew AND is fun to work with then Creative Contours are the landscape designers for you. We initially contacted 2 local landscapers. Unfortunately neither returned our calls. We choose Creative Contours after reading the reviews on Home Advisor. We contacted Jennifer and received a returned call the same day. Our initial consultation involved an in depth discussion about our needs, use of the property, and budget. After our discussion Jennifer walked around our yard taking photos. She returned at an agreed time, was very prompt, even calling ahead as a reminder of the appointment. Jennifer showed up with a digital photo of our property with her/our ideas superimposed on the plans. We could barely contain our excitement at what she presented. After agreeing on the plan we then scheduled a time to meet at the nursery to pick out plants. At the nursery Jennifer was like a kid in a candy store, a very knowledgeable kid I might add! Her enthusiasm and genuine love of nature was evident as we walked around the nursery choosing just the right plants/shrubs. The week our project was to begin we received numerous calls/text coordinating the schedule for plant delivery and project completion. Within one very hot day (90 degrees) she and her crew of two (Juan and Angel who are awesome) completed our backyard landscaping project. It looks amazing! We could not be happier with the completed project. We look forward to working with Creative Contour next year for our front yard project! read more

Jennifer and her crew exceeded my expectations. My backyard was a mess after a September wind storm toppled the major tree in our backyard. In addition, my backyard had numerous old and overgrown shrubs. I received two proposals and selected Jennifer's even though her estimate was more than $2,000 higher. Jennifer always met me at agreed upon times which I appreciated. She also listened to what my wife and I wanted in our backyard and then provided us with a well thought out and visually presented illustration using a variety of plants and trees that would provide color and interest throughout the year. Her crew of three worked very hard and efficiently utilizing state of the art equipment needed to remove tree roots and large bushes. Creative Contours delivered more than we expected, more than they promised, and they have followed up to make sure we are fully satisfied. They corrected and vastly improved some earlier landscaping by other professionals, installed a new patio and walkway, created new and expanded beds, and beautified our entire property. We are very happy with this outfit, from the owner to the crew. They are all very professional, and they know what they are doing. We bought and remodeled a 1932 beach house in Old Saybrook, CT. When it was time to landscape, we received a recommendation to talk to Jennifer Noyes at Creative Contour Landscape Design. She came onsite several times to develop her design and presented her ideas to us with actual photos or our property with her design ideas incorporated. We can't say enough about the design and execution of Jennifer's design. Her creativity blew us away and the execution exceeded our expectations. This company is exceptional in the quality of their work, their attention to detail and the creativity they bring to the table. The crew was punctual, respectful and hardworking throughout the 3-day project. The owners were on site every day and checked in to make sure I was satisfied with the work. The quality of the plantings was excellent -- selected for their hardiness, color, scent and deer-resistance as I requested. The project was completed on time and the crew took care of a few extra things beyond the scope of the project -- pruning two trees, seeding and mulching additional areas. It does not get much better than Creative Contour Landscape Design. Honest to goodness. From start to finish, I was impressed, amazed, and I ALWAYS felt like I was being treated fairly. Moreover, Jennifer knows her craft. she is passionate about landscaping. She is smart, insightful, and works so incredibly hard to make magic happen. My fiance hired her after meeting with 4 other landscapers. I know now my she hired Jen and her crew. They are simply the best you will find in Connecticut (and she's fun too!) Jennifer, Steve, and crew were great! We had trees removed, slopes regraded, drainage fixed, grass reseeded, and plant beds redesigned. Jennifer is very responsive, and she took the time to select plants with us at the nursery. She had beautiful ideas of how to redesign our yard, including gorgeous pavers. The crew arrived on time, cleaned up, and were very courteous of our neighbors. We received several compliments on how nice our yard looks now. Creative Contour was the best decision we could have made to have our retaining wall, walkway, and stoop designed. Jen was wonderful to work with and we got exactly what we wanted and what we expected.
