Today I had the pleasure of having Witkowski & Sons Tree Service come to my home to clear away…read moreseveral trees that were damaged during a recent storm. Quite honestly, I am speechless. I have used several tree services over the years, and while I have had good experiences with all of them, none have been as efficient, professional, and impressive as Witkowski & Sons. The crew today consisted of Joe, the leader, along with Abel and Willy. From the moment they arrived, they were friendly, professional, courteous, and extremely careful--especially around my septic fields, which was very important to me. I watched them from my window, and I couldn't get over how hard they worked--and yet they made it look almost effortless. They worked as a team, knew exactly what they were doing, and took great care with my property. When they were finished, everything was cleaned up beautifully. My only advice to anyone considering Witkowski & Sons is this: If you have to wait for them, they are absolutely worth the wait. I will definitely be calling them again in the future. In fact, I already want them back to do some light pruning of several rare ornamental trees in the front of my property. I trust them completely with my trees and my property. And a special word about Joe: he is stellar. His work ethic, professionalism, politeness, and genuinely friendly manner make him a tremendous asset to the company. He clearly takes pride in his work and in making sure the customer is satisfied. Thank you, Witkowski & Sons, Joe, Abel, and Willy, for an outstanding job. I couldn't be happier and highly recommend you!

Reflections on Wood is hands down one of the best flooring companies in Connecticut…read more I recently had Nick complete two jobs for me. One was a refinish of a 20 year old floor in a condo and the other was a completely new install at a house. Nick and his crew did an amazing job with both projects. The flooring in both projects needed a stain to match existing flooring. The stain match was spot on and the finish on the floors were very smooth. PRICING: Nick's pricing always came in best out of all the quotes I received. CUSTOMER SERVICE: Nick provided excellent customer service. He was always accessible via text and phone. Any concerns I had, he addressed them immediately. He also provided advice regarding floor care. FUTURE JOB: I plan to use Nick in the spring to have him add another layer of clearcoat to a job another flooring company did which I'm not very happy with.

We just recently had A+ Landcape over to our condo in Hamden to give us an estimate on re-doing…read moreour raggedy patio. We have an enclosed courtyard with a blue fieldstone patio.. the original from 1970 still here when we bought the place. The stones were all uneven, rocked and moved alot when you walked on them and there were some really old ugly shrubs in here that had to go .. we wanna do our own planting, etc. out there. We weren't even sure this company would take on our job ... figured it might be small potatoes to a place that, from their website, does some really nice landscaping and bigger jobs. Greg came over for the estimate visit and couldn't have been nicer. Never made us feel like this was too small a job for them .. he was very enthusiastic about the job, give us all the details and his recommendations re: what should be done and set the date. Based on the good reviews for this company on other sites and the confidence we felt, we booked him right on the spot. The nicest surprise we got was when they called a week earlier than we expected and ask if we wanted them to come out and do the job the next day! We jumped at it and told him very definitely. This job involved ripping and digging up 3 old bushes with huge root balls, flattening and re-soiling the entire planting area .. and the big part -- pulling up about 100 of our existing fieldstones, re-sanding and compacting/flattening the surface, then carefully re-laying our old stones nice and tight. They did this entire job in one long day ... and its perfect. We love the patio -- it looks 10 times better than we even thought it would ... can't wait to have people over and make them jealous now! I give the A+ Landscaping guys my highest recommendation. The people are great, the job they did was great and the price was definitely fair too. Great company!
