NEVER came back. JP not only came out immediately to look at the job, but he started the work within a few days of that initial inspection. The job took one full day and, what timing-- it rained 3 inches two days later. I would have had to be down there all day with the leak with a wet vac/shop vac in order to avoid water damage. Instead, I went down to check every hour (as it was a practice I was used to whenever it rained) and NO WATER!! The weather has been absolutely perfect for driveway work. As far as I know, no one has been by. For certain no one has contacted us. For certain no one has done anything in the driveway. No excuses, City Paving. We held a family meeting, I called one last time this morning-2 busy signals and a no answer. The address on the contract is a private residence, not an office. We will pay for another company to come and repair City Pavings workmanship issues before the freezing weather sets in and further damages the driveway. It is a shame we already recommended them to other people. That will never happen again. Oh well, live and learn. Update- So, after 4 months someone came by and looked at it. Says they will be back when the weather is warmer...sigh....it was warmer when we started calling, but whatever. I guess I will cancel the other company. All told it was just under $10k that I paid him. Well first rainstorm came and the chimney is leaking inside destroying the drywall. I called, emailed, texted, over and over and over to no avail. Finally got through to him (maybe he answered by accident) and he said he would be out to fit it at a date that was a month out. That date is today and obviously he never showed up and is not answering my phone calls. As a business owner myself, I don't know how he is still in business. If I treated my customers like this, nobody would hire me!

I should have known better. The guy came and spent about 20 minutes cleaning the liner. He must have hit a rough spot because he shook it so hard he broke all the mortar from around the furnace pipe. Shoved all the soot down to the furnace. Which I had to vacuum out myself. Left soot and mortar all over the basement. Called them the same evening and spoke to the owner, he said they would be out the next day to make repairs. No show, no call. No answer when I tried to call again. They burned me on this one. Wish I had gone with my gut. I'm sure they would have found a way to not honor the warranty anyway.

I was hired by Weir Construction to clean a salon, and the experience was extremely frustrating…read more They rescheduled on me twice after I had already arranged childcare for my two kids, only to tell me they weren't ready when I arrived. On the third attempt, I completed the job in a building with no heat or AC--temperatures were extremely high, making the work conditions very difficult. I spent two full days cleaning and made sure to go over the floors multiple times. We had agreed on around $500 for the work, including cancellations, but I was never paid. After completing the job, communication stopped completely. I also drove about 45 minutes each way multiple times, covering gas expenses out of pocket. Overall, I would rate 0 stars, definitely recommend not working with this company due to lack of communication, poor planning, and failure to pay for completed services.
