I ended up cold calling three different companies to get some estimates. Rock Landscaping's quote was very reasonable compared to the others. His quote was so good, I added a sidewalk from my driveway to the front door to the project. Rock was excellent about designing my project. He took what I wanted and made some modifications that made the job even better. I had always planned on straight and angular pathways, but Rock convinced me that arcs and curves were the way to go, and he was right. The crew worked very hard for the 4 or 5 days they were here. They took few breaks and were very polite and respectful to my wife and I. They were neat when they were done they picked up any debris and left the place looking good. We are thrilled with the work they did. I was concerned about some grass seedlings coming up in a few of the joints, but Rock came back when I called him and took care of it. He even gave me a supply of the matching polymeric sand to have on hand. This job was done in Sept. of 2016. I have waited to see how the work held up to winters and ground settling. All still looks good. I would strongly recommend Rock Landscaping and Construction to anyone looking for a quality job done at a great price.

I met with Jarrod and immediately sensed that this was a top- shelf outfit that did serious landscaping work, He asked questions about my preferences and took note of the architectural detail that he wanted to highlight in drafting a plan. He took photos and said he would be back with a presentation in one week. Jarrod returned with a landscaping design that fit my budget. He paid close attention to the architecture of my mid-century house and decided to use three of my granite slabs that were used as stepping stones in a new way. He recommended installing them vertically to render a zen feeling, along with a metal sculpture that is really beautiful. Attached to the plan were pictures of the shrubs that he recommended. Jarrod is extremely competent and professional. He is patient and easy going and a pleasure to work with. The installation was completed this spring and I am absolutely delighted. The gardeners completed the entire job in one day. The work was done cleanly and methodically. Another commendation goes to the office staff. Whenever I called, they were extremely pleasant and helpful. They were aware of my project and very interested and helpful throughout the process. In fact, when I was concerned about one of the shrubs, someone stopped by and left a note with their findings that very day. It is nice to work with an outfit that has an office with a staff that answers the phone and assumes responsibility for all elements of the business relationship. To be thoroughly honest, landscaping is not among my talents. I love design, but don't know one shrub from the other. It was great to rely on a professional who exuded competence. I plan to call upon them for annual maintenance and for small projects in the future. I would recommend them highly and without reservation.
