Scheduling was easy and quick, and communication throughout was excellent. They even sent a crew ahead of time to clear the snow around the trees at no charge -- such a thoughtful and professional touch. As promised, I received a call the day before to confirm the arrival time. The team -- Jeremías, Marlon, and Ariel -- arrived right on time. They reviewed the work order with me before starting and left a copy once the job was completed. They were professional, friendly, and got to work right away. They were careful with the property, cleaned up all branches thoroughly, and did an outstanding job. The trees look great! Originally gave me a quote, and provided me with his "insurance", but never called me back and hasn't returned my phone calls. I believe the insurance he provided was for lawn care, and wasn't designed to cover tree removal; and when I asked about this he stopped returning my calls. In our last conversation he implied he would have the insurance confirm it was for tree removal after the weekend on the first business day, but as it turns out, now he's ghosting me. Made me waste a week thinking I found a company to do the work I required. I could have spent that time looking for a company that could do the work. Basically multiple reviews for his former business echo this sentiment. This is why he renamed his business from Hillcrest to Hill.

Based on about a year and a half of trying to work with them, communicating with them is extremely slow and frustrating. They are very bad at managing and communicating schedules. Last January they took down a very large tree in a very visible location in our yard. They had to take down part of an adjacent hedge to access the tree, which I understand, but they did discuss it with us ahead of time. After the fact, they told us verbally that they would replace the shrub. After 9 months and many, many attempts to follow up with them, they have not replaced the shrub.

They took amazing care of the properties and brought in significant equipment to make the job as easy as possible, for a not-easy job! We needed to have a dead cherry tree removed from our front yard this spring…read more I found Denisi after another local company we have used previously, told us that they were too busy to come out for a small job right now... When I first reached to Denisi Tree, the owner returned my call the same day and came out to give us an estimate that same week. The price we were given for the tree removal and stump grinding was very fair, and less than what we had been quoted by another company. We were happy to hear that he could fit us in for the work quickly as well! The work was done on time, as promised, and the tree was removed with no issues. We were very happy with their service! We will be using Denisi tree from now on in the future! I also might add...we have two very large trees in our backyard, one of which is now starting to grow a sideways to get around the branches of the other. We were told last year by our previous tree company that the tree starting to grow sideways could not be trimmed up, but rather needed to be removed entirely. I was not a big fan of this idea because, personally,I think chopping down trees for no reason is not good for the environment, and the two trees look pretty (especially for a hammock), AND they wanted to charge us a $1800 for doing so. When I ask Bob Denisi about the "sideways" tree when he came out for our estimate, he did NOT try to sell us on removing the tree. IN FACT, he talked me into just leaving the tree alone and said we didn't even really need to trim it up right now. He explained that the two trees are actually growing together as a unit now, and trimming one too much could affect the other tree... "Wait, you're not trying to convince me to spend more money and sell me something I don't need?!" We really appreciated that!
