Excellent service, excellent communication, excellent work - and super nice people. Our son's less than 1 year old Lenovo laptop blue screened just after finals (thank goodness it made it through that!) and we found Turner from the Lenovo site. I just had to post a review because these guys were fantastic! I have a Lenovo yoga and went through all kinds of tech-support people online and finally called this company to help me with a problem that I was having with my integrated camera. First of all, Brian was so sweet on the phone... Walked me through all the possible issues and what they would do. He suggested I bring the computer in because very quickly they would be able to diagnose it. Which is exactly what happened! Yoppi Lie, the service manager met me upfront (he knew I was coming) and he literally fixed it in less than five minutes. He knew exactly what to do and showed me the fix so I feel confident if it were to happen again I would know how to deal with it on my own. And they didn't even charge me! I wanted an appraisal on my laptop because I had damaged it and didn't know if it was worth fixing, but I at least wanted to get all my files transferred to a hard drive. I called and they said they had a $65 diagnostic fee and it went towards the fee to transfer files from the hard drive but I argued that I would just be paying the fee in case the hard drive was damaged. They then agreed to waive the diagnostics fee! Getting there was great because there is plenty of parking in the back so you save the time and hassle of looking for street parking. I was seen right away and they opened up my computer and took out my hard drive in front of me. I loved seeing them showing what they were doing and that made me feel even more comfortable with their service. Within minutes I saw that the hard drive was ok. I received all my files the next day and, although I found out it would cost too much to fix my laptop, I received impeccable service all the way through. read more

OK, this is a LONG overdue review. Back in 2007, I had a Macbook Pro that was a month old and something... bad... happened. I called Apple Support or iSupport or whatever they call themselves these days and they said it would be under warranty and they referred me to Turner. I brought in my computer, they said they'd check it out, told me upfront that if it was X, Y, or Z, it wouldn't be covered by warranty and there'd be a charge. The next morning they called and said it was [something technical], it was fully covered, and once the replacement part arrived in a few days, it would be a quick repair. I expressed my need to get back to work with the computer ASAP as I was on a schedule, and they were very understanding and offered to call the supplier of the replacement part to see if it could be expedited. Excellent service, especially when you know the customer won't be paying you, is a sign of a really good work ethic that I respect and appreciate. Went in to have a new SSD and RAM module installed on my new Lenovo T450S. Yopi handled my computer and installed it in under two hours. I received the laptop back in perfect working order. Came back the next day to have the contents of the original HDD transferred over to the SSD. Yopi handled it within an hour. 4 days later everything still works perfectly fine and there have been no errors. They're certified by Lenovo to work on the T450S. Anyone have a cracked MacBook screen? I DID. Called up Mike at Turner Techtronics (Note: They have a separate branch for laptops: Laptoprepair.com). He quoted me a price, $300 for parts and labor. Thirty minutes later I dropped off my laptop at around 10am. Wasn't expecting to get it back the next day, but Mike came through, picked up my laptop at 5:30pm! What a hero! They are Apple certified (Apple actually recommended me to them, Apple has a flat rate $755 repair fee on stuff like this, NO THANK YOU!) which means that repairs through them keeps your AppleCare intact. They used an original Apple screen, tested it after installation, and I was good to go. Mike is a nice guy, easy to work with, and a hard worker. Give him your business! read more

I have a Lenovo computer that needed several repairs, Although I had Paid Lenovo LOTS of extra money for an extended warranty that (supposedly) included on site repairs, When I called them to get repairs, They insisted I send it to them for repairs. I explained to them that I could not be without comp. for that long. After MANY calls to Lenovo a gentleman named Rob (Who was the only person at Lenovo service who was helpful) Told me I could take it to Turner Techtronics for repairs, Since they are close i agreed to do this. Best decision I ever made, I dealt with YOPPY LI, Who is one of the nicest and most helpful person's I have EVER dealt with. I don't know what he gets paid but it should be MORE. He has done several different repairs on this same Lenovo over the last year. He is extremely polite and respectful of the customer and extremely knowledgeable, as are all of the employee's at Turner that I have dealt with. As far as Lenovo goes, don't bother with their onsite repair service, It is just a scam to get you yo pay for something they will not give you. Lenovo used to be a good company with good customer service. NOT ANY-MORE. You are better off saving your money by not getting the extended warranty, and if you need repairs, spend it at TurnerTechtronics and get your repairs done right the first time for a great price. (Probably less than what you would pay for their lousy warranty, that they don't honor anyway) A GREAT COMPANY with GREAT EMPLOYEES. Lenovo had my computer for over a month, remind you I had placed several calls, with promises to be called back, well that never happened. I received my Lenovo yesterday and guess what? It still does not work. When I called to speak to a supervisor their response "someone will call you back" Really? I paid almost a 1,000 dollars and had my computer for 6 months. This place really is the best around. Had the left fan in my MacBook Pro go bad on me, and after contacting AppleCare I was told about Turner Techtronics by a friend. After calling here and a multitude of other certified Apple repair places the choice was easy as every other place quoted me a turn around time of no less than 4 days. TT asked me to bring it in so they could see which fan it was that was problematic then they ordered the part, let me leave with my computer, and said they'd call when the part arrived the next day. Everything went exactly like that and at 11am I brought my computer back and in 1 hour they were done with it!! Yes 1 hour!! My mac book pro was in need of a serious upgrade. I was under a tight deadline and it was really hard for me to give up my computer for repair, but I'm really glad I did. My laptop's hard drive failed (this seems to be a common problem with me) and while it was still under warranty at Apple, they needed to keep it for 3-5 business days which doesn't really work for me and my job. When something breaks, I need it fixed pronto! I took it to Turner around 1 and they said it would be done by 9 AM the next morning. To my surprise, they called me 15 minutes before they closed and said if I could get there fast I could have it back that night. Score, since I live 5 minutes away. Yoppy rocks! The hard drive on my 2006 Macbook Pro died and the Apple store said it was obsolete and I'd have to go through an authorized Apple rep instead. So after looking on Apple's site and then comparing what I found on Yelp, I opted for Turner Techtronics because of the great reviews they already had. Always a good sign. Glad I did! For under $200, with the replaced hard drive and labor, not to mention friendly Yoppy, plus the added (and rather helpful) bonus of him locating hundreds and hundreds of formerly lost photos and documents and such, plus his assistance in uploading the updated operating system that I had on disc. Continually where we go to get our computers fixed and have been routinely very satisfied. Have tried some other places in the past from the big tech stores to some smaller ones and have been disappointed with the slow return, high prices, and often not having fixed the problem. However, have taken computers in to get them cleaned up and fixed here multiple times as well as having them assist with wireless in our home it has yielded some incredible results and the prices are incredibly fair and logical. My niece's MSI had a broken dc power jack, and I saw their $129 flat rate right on the website. No send it in for a quote, then have the machine held hostage. Simple.
