Not an old ladies house teaching old school tunes with no advancement, or a fancy place that charges you an arm and a leg for lessons. Mila teaches out of a super cute studio, she is so kind and patient and actually expresses a genuine interest in your learning. I really like that she has an educational university level background in Piano and Music and doesn't just teach you piano songs back to back. (Like the teachers I had growing up). She delves into music theory, history, composition, form, sight reading, ear training etc. it really makes the learning effective and long term. She continuously updates her curriculums to new techniques and keeps up with modern pieces. She even offers educational music group classes for toddlers while also ranging to adult students. She is very organized has great communication, not sure what the other review was talking about, they probably just didn't read her payment setup which is super easy and convenient. She stays up to date with all of her students and will always answer questions about her policies. I have learned so much from Mila, she is an incredible piano teacher.

Lots of great musical equipment in the store, there's at least always someone who can answer your questions about a particular piece of gear; percussion, keyboards, guitar....whatever. PA systems, other band equipment, you name it, they have it and are knowledgeable about it too. They are super chill & not out to make a sale, just more trying to help you understand what it is you're looking for.If you already know, they're just there, at your assistance. Really very cool & absolutely no pressure whatsoever. I've come to them repeatedly once or twice ( or more ) with some recurring guitar issues & they've always been totally pro & worked to fix the problem, oftentimes not charging me at all if it was something small or just a quick 2 minute fix, I know I shouldn't be advertising this maybe, but I think telling the world about their integrity means more. A great bunch of guys that take what they do seriously but are totally laid back & friendly....what more could you ask for? I'm dead serious too; this has been my personal experience from day one. Can't go wrong with Bigfoot Music & yes I hope more people go there & give them business because I support the small guy & I forgot to mention: unlike the big Guitar Center/big box whatever stores, these guys are all essentially family, been doing it a long time & know how to do it RIGHT. They also know what they're doing and they don't have a turnover like KFC. That should tell you something. Ok, rant over. I just had to write this, after my umpteenth killer experience with these guys. End of story.

She used to be a typical key banger and now she is sits at the piano with her lesson book and actually practices without too much bother from her parents. (A little at first and now, very little.) Before when sent to bed, she'd be a bother about being bored or can't sleep. Now she sees her piano and plays music she makes up on her own, and it comes out with reasonable timing and pitches. The biggest problem my wife and I have is not knowing whether to interrupt her and get her in bed, or leave her be to play on her own. For us, 4/4 Music is an extension of our social circle.
