Though I've never been tested for it, I check right down the list for it as I've struggled with math all my life. I was trying to pass the West B teacher certification and had taken the math portion already five times and failed when Dimona was recommended to me. I was hesitant because I had been informally tutored with several math teachers that I knew preparing for this test. I went ahead and booked my first session with her. From the first session, I knew this time would be different, as she talked about understanding how I saw thing visually and my struggle was how math had been taught to me in the past. We started fresh and built a foundation. I understood concepts for the first time because of the way she broke them down. If I was struggling with a concept, she tried several ways to explain it better to me. She was patient and compassionate with my comprehension or lack of it when I wanted to quit. She cheered me on and reassured me I could pass this test and understand so much more than I ever thought I could! The next time I took the test, I passed it! She did in three months what no one else was able to do for me in a year of studying. I am grateful for her sharing her gifts with me.

However, they make you think you're getting a tutor who are experts on special education, adhd, and learning differences. But it's the lead person who is talking with you who has that background expertise, not the tutors you will be given. After researching the company further, the amount they pay their tutors is very small compared to what they charge customers. Employees say they get maybe one week instead of four weeks of training, like they were promised. We passed, but they kept calling several more times.
