Manager is awful. I accidentally left my daughters bottle at the store. I called back that day, they said they'd call me if they found it. The manager said they don't have a lost and found so they threw away the bottle. I asked her to set up a lost and found. She doesn't think there is a problem with throwing away customers personal items. read more

OMG! Love this store! Just went the other day and they are having an awesome sale!!! I found them because of their Groupon and I'm so happy I did! I only bought one but I'm going to try to see if I can buy more! Pay $10 and get a Groupon for $20 worth of stuff! This store has everything! Not your typical consignment store. I was impressed at how clean and organized everything was. The clothing was colorized and I even bought a dress on sale for $3! (Yes, I did say $3!!!) They also have a home decor section and I found some cute frames too! Can't wait to go back- they are consignment so don't forget it's peoples used clothing but after going in the store I am definitely going to start bringing my own things in! I was told it would take half an hour for her to get to my clothes, and called to check up on it and was hang up on, when i called again i was told to come back in another half an hour. When i came back she had still not gotten to my clothg and were about to close. She clearly didnt know what she was doing. read more

It is very unfortunate that we occasionally run into such a poorly managed store as this one "Turn Style on Bell Rd". Some of the staff are rude and insulting, management apparently allows this. I support local business but not this one. I can live with the rip off but insulting and rude has no place in business. Incompetent dis-respectful and insulting. I did not get the kind employee as mentioned in the one good review. Their must be one, but I never seem to get that person. Don't waste you time here. Support a business worth keeping around. A score of 1 is the lowest rating allowed it hurt to mark them that high. thanks for nothing but insults and wasting my time Turn Style. I washed, pressed and brought all items in excellent condition on hangers many items designer. I was told that we Turn Style will not look at everything because you brought to much. 23 items. Customer Service in this store is deplorable. I have tried to consign several times and run into lack of an organized system and just plain rudeness from the employees. All I want to do is track the items that they accept and know what they sell for. This seems like it could go on some kind of on-line system. Instead, anytime you want to know if your items are available, sold, or donated, you have to ask for a print-out. The staff hates to give printouts and most of them don't know how to do this. I have asked for clarification--"What should I ask the clerk for--is it an inventory sheet? what is it called?" I just want to track my sold items and be able to easily pick up items about to expire. Every time I go there they act like I am putting them out and they have no idea what an inventory sheet is. REALLY? I think I have a right to know what is happening with my items. Afterall, Turnstyle is making a nice profit on these. Isn't there an easier way for the consigner? This is a business. Turnstyle is making lots of money on our stuff. I would welcome a manager to email me or let me know how to contact her. I read in the 2/20/14 post that there is a regional manager named Gail. Gail--pls contact me so that I can give some constructive feedback. I would like to come back and become a consigner again, but your staff Scares me! Also, I think the timeline for how long you keep the items is too short. Two months (sometimes it is this short) is not enough selling time. Also, is there a better way for us consigners to "find" our unsold items before the expiration? Otherwise, if you leave them there, you lose all rights to the items. Even if the item sells, if it goes past the expiration date you are not entitled to any of that money. That sounds ridiculous. I think 4 months would be a more reasonable time frame for all times of year. In light of all this, I think that the small amount of money you MIGHT make on these purchases is not worth the hassle. I would rather give it to a charity that appreciates it than pad the wallets of Turnstyle executives. read more

I was extremely disappointed with my experience at Turn Style. First of all, not one single employee greeted me or acknowledged me when I came in which I felt was very rude. Secondly, I'm certain I probably looked a bit lost as I tried to figure out where exactly I needed to go to sell my clothing and nobody offered to help me or point me in the right direction. And third, they chose to take the cheaper items I had rather than the higher end clothing (some even had price tags on them) which I thought was odd. I was not a fan. read more

Terrible customer service! I had my organizer take my stuff over there several times, and I sold a number of items. However, when I went to take clothing and shoes over there on my own, I had a problem. I am disabled, and thought that I would be able to get some help from the store clerks. WRONG! The carts or hanging rack were not allowed to be moved outside. The intake area was far from the main door, and I knew that I couldn't make that many trips. I asked for help, but the two young girls working there (with one other customer in the store) said there was nothing they could do but suggest that I move my car to the door nearest the intake area. This was not an option for me, because there were too many steps. I suggested a couple of scenarios, but all I heard back was "that's against the rules". One girl told me to stop yelling at her (I never raised my voice), but she kept saying it over and over. They finally agreed to let me move the hanging card to the door, but did absolutely nothing to help me. She told me they were in great need of shoes, and I had several beautiful pair. She also reminded me about the "25 item" rule. The took all but 2 of my items (discarded because of loose buttons). I asked if, since shoes where in high demand, she could ring those up as a separate "order", but, guess what? -- that was against the rules. So I took them out of the store vowing never to go back. I had asked for the Manager, but she was on vacation, so I got her name and phone number. In the meantime, I spoke to my organizer and told her how I had been treated. She said she would call the manager, who she knew well. The manager stated that nothing had been done wrong, despite the fact that I was disabled and just needed a small accommodation. She expressed no empathy whatsoever. I know that consignment stores walk a tightrope between keeping their consignors and buyers happy. They could not be in business without both. They just don't get how little it would have taken for me to be a happy customer. Instead, they lost all my business as a consignor and a buyer, and that of anyone to whom I can tell my story. So far, that amounts to quite a few people. They just don't get it. read more

Lola, the Consignment Manager, of three years provided no customer service and was disrespectful to me while my sister and I were in the store. She was the only one behind the counter with no other customers at the counter when I approached her. She was running between two cash resisters and didn't acknowledge me. When I excused myself to get her attention she said, Are you wanting to check your account.,No,I need help getting a picture down to purchase ($50). She said, just a minutes. After a even longer wait while she struggled with register, I said, "Is there someone else to help., She said," no." I waited even longer and when I questioned her about the poor service she said, "I can't please you." When I told her she would lose a sell, she said, "that's ok, have a nice day". As I was leaving another girl became available and I purchased the picture. When I told her the situation, Lola lied and denied her statements to me. Lola did, however, willingly give me Gail's number, district manager. Gail was wonderful, she listened and was unhappy to hear about my experience in the store.. read more

Best Consignment store in Arizona! I love finding myself great deals, and that's just what Turn Style does. I've been going to this location for years and they never let me down! I love their consignment program. Yes it is only 25 items at a time but you can always book a weekend appointment if you have more, but 25 at a time Mon-Fri is reasonable imagine all the items they have to go trough everyday, plus price it and put it on the floors, so we have new items to look though. :D This location is always clean and and friendly staff. I always recommend Turn Style to all my friends and family! Never a let down. read more

I bought a pair of shoes here a week ago and had thrown away the receipt. I was very disappointed in the condition of the shoes and went back with them to talk to the manager of this store. I was pleasantly surprised as Chris, the manager listened to what I told her and cheerfully gave me credit for what I had paid for the shoes! I will definitely tell other people about this outcome and will continue to patronize this establishment! read more

I actually liked this Turn style until I had the misfortune of interacting with their staff. The girls that are usually there are rude and unfriendly, every single time. I've consigned lots of clothes and home goods, and I've been a shopper. After my last visit I will not going back. I would rather give clothes away or donate, or anything else if it means I don't have to be treated poorly by people whose paychecks depend on people buying and selling. The fact they are all rude tells me that stems from their manager. Apparently they tolerate that in their employees. read more

This place sucks for customer service, they seem to think everything is about them not the customer. I was nice to them and even when I was upset did not use a swear word yet the guy there was telling me to stop causing a scene and never to come back. Instead of trying to calm me down for their ineptness they just got me more ticked off. Telling me that my voice was of a violent tone, well sorry I am from New York and that was my normal voice, I am always loud, and the woman with me was looking at this dummy like he was just a little person trying to act like a manager. But, Don't worry I won't ever go back, and have told 10 people today not to ever go there as they are so rude. I am a hair stylist, I see hundreds of women a day, I plan on telling each and every one to avoid this place, and I know it will spread like a wild fire. Enjoy being on the SH*T List. Another note, they turned down my clothes from DKNY, Jones, and even Tommy Bahama telling me that they had old labels and not acceptable. Told me that they only take upscale lines??? I was looking at shirts, since when is Old Navy and Target gone upscale??? Avoid this place, and are they really donating the stuff that don't sell or selling and keeping the money? I will not take any items here ever again...such a waste of time. On a few occasions now (lesson learned finally), I brought items to consign (many new, name brand clothes with tags still on) only to be turned away. My items were far better than many of the items they are currently selling. In fact, I even asked them what they will take prior to bringing my items in last time. They took just a couple of items and I BARELY got anything for the items. While there, I heard another customer complain about only receiving a tiny bit of money for all of her brand name items. They told her, "Well, we had a store-wide sale the week after you brought your items in so that is another reason why we can't give you much." Too bad they never warned the lady about this upcoming sale. She was not at all happy. Also, I waited FOREVER and other customers were annoyed by the wait as well. SO not worth dragging all of my unused things there!! Also, the little paper they give you when they take a consigned item is super confusing. I actually have no idea which items they took and I guess if I don't pick them up in time (if they don't sell) then I will have no clue how to find them/get them back. (Good strategy for them...make it super difficult and then you just give up and let them have the stuff for nothing). Will not be going back! read more
