BBQ is a beautiful American tradition and Stateline is a remarkable representation of all the best things about it. The small space is nicely appointed, tastefully, but also unquestionably like a BBQ joint. What does that mean...hard to know, but at the same time, it's nearly always easy to tell when you are inside a BBQ joint vs any other restaurant. The ribs are delicate and fall off the rack, with an intense Smokey flavor. The wings are their signature dish and also rather incredible. People are nice and there isn't much more one can ask for. It's an incredibly solid place for a very enjoyable piece of this all American tradition.

It's really tucked away and off the beaten path where most other businesses are located. I went on a stormy night and was the only person there. Perhaps it was an off night. You could walk up to the counter and order or sit at the table. I decided to sit and eat. I ordered ramen and a sushi roll. The ramen was decent and better than I expected. The egg was cooked perfectly. The sushi roll was just ok. It was incredibly large and hard to eat. I would get the ramen again, but not the sushi if I return. Pros: the staff were extremely nice and the food came out rather quickly Cons: the dining room was quite dimly lit which could be a personal preference, the bathroom was so dirty that I decided not to use it Overall it was just an ok experience. I would possibly consider the food again, but most likely through take out if I did.
