I have purchased carpet from Carpet Giant several times since purchasing my home. I purchased…read morehardwood flooring in November. I was assured that we would be pleased with the installation. My first issue was installers, first day two installers, second day one, three day 2. Second issue, apparently, the floor was not floated properly. The floor creaks in every room. I would suggest anyone purchasing hardwood to hire your own installers.

Mark my salesman took the time to understand my needs and presented a flooring solution well within budget and the quality for the installed price is unparalleled. Manuel and the install crew truly blew me away. I was not able to have anyone on site to "supervise" the installation and had to fully trust they would do a good job. Manuel stayed in communication with me and sent me progress pictures and when I got to the house to see it that night I was stunned. The actual stretch and lay of the carpet was perfect and they had neatly rolled and stacked my remnants. But it was the cutting a square of it as a welcome mat that was the cherry on top, along with not being able to tell they had even been there. There were a few carpet fibers on the driveway but I seriously mean like six of them the clean up was SO GOOD. Call the folks at Carpet Giant (they do other kinds of flooring too). Your future self thanks you. P.S. Please understand and educate yourself about your baseboard situation before having carpet installed. If the baseboard was painted after carpet was installed previously the new carpet pile height should be as tall or taller or you aren't going to like it until you repaint the baseboards for the thinner carpet (or laminate). I already knew about this so when Manuel called to tell me and send me a pic, he was so relieved I already expected that and was ready. Our new carpets look amazing!!

Good price but less than 2 yrs, all the carpet is now wrinkling. Don't buy from them ... cheap stuff and bad installation.

I search gourmet cooking it shows me food off the bbq pit. I search pickle it only gives me a jalapeno. I search luxury car, because of my little cowgirl, I get horses. If I search Heaven I get Texas shaped jewelry, but instagram just happen to show me a necklace that said Houston on it. Being from the H *throwing up my South Side, South Side gangster sign*, I had to have it. I jumped into my little yellow jeep as I clocked out at 5 pm wearing a colorful mini to five finger discount my new piece. (I paid for it; I am just trying to sound more south side than I really am). It's on the east end of Houston, I love this area, I was a mocosa growing up in these parts. Love driving down the streets my mom used to drive on. I hardly get out this way anymore, except recently this shop, the winery, the other boutiques in this strip and Bohemeo's attract my attention often. Kismet just happens to be my favorite. Nothing is relatively cheap, but it doesn't exactly break the bank if you know how to stay within a budget. #fail I have bought several jewelry pieces and the clothes always catches my attention as well. I especially like that I can find cool wardrobe pieces for my vacations. I usually pick 4th of July to wear something special during my summer travels. Kismet is now my go to spot for them finds. Guys I'm Texas, more than Kismet. I don't want ya'll getting the wrong idea about the place you are not walking into all TX store. It's a tiny, cute, and girly boutique where I just happen to find a few things I am addicted to. They have H-Town Pride items as well. For those of us into chula, chiflada, y comelona scene well you can find those items here too. You should just check it out for yourself.
