Granddaughter shopping for 15th BD. James Avery has such lovely selection of jewelry and our Princess loves it. I had to give this location Kudos for their Social Distancing and Sanitary Practices put in place. There were markers 6 ft apart no more than 6 or so in the store at any time, with a monitor at the door to ensure this was kept in place. Distance markers were at check out, as well and cashiers were wearing gloves and sanitizing. They also provided sanitizer for customers. My credit card did not require me to sign, thereby not having to touch the pad or pen.. Very pleased with BD purchase and precautionary measures in such a critical time. These workers are racist. Today I came in to pick up my online order with no Texas ID but a worker asked for a school ID & even after showing it they cancelled my order . Why ask for a school ID if it has to be a Texas issued ID . My girlfriend picked up the order while I was on the phone listening & the racist white women were asking her if she took care of me for having to pick up my order with all the other workers giggling after her statement. read more

For all the times I've been in to James Avery, I'm stunned that I've never reviewed this jewelry store. We all know that James Avery carries many Christian-themed jewelry pieces. But they also carry very whimsical items, along with college and Greek-oriented charms as well as an extensive line of child-appropriate jewelry. Their men's line has grown tremendously of late, too. What keeps me coming back, though, is their timeless lines of charms, elegant earrings and animal-oriented pieces. I have several Avery pieces that are sterling silver, but the vast majority of what I own from James Avery is 14K gold. All of it, be it earrings, charms or necklaces are all well constructed and extremely durable. Some of these items I've owned for going on two decades, and with proper care they still look as good as new. In fact, if you're not sure how to care for your jewelry, ASK. You will be rewarded. They've got the tools and supplies here to keep not only your JA pieces sparkling, but all of your other trinkets, too! The designs and styles here are classic. They were just as much in style yesterday as they are today as they will be tomorrow or 10 years from now. I've never had an item from here break and any time I needed an adjustment (always for a gift), the employees here always took care of me graciously and promptly. James Avery jewelry is a sure shot. This store in particular is spot on. I've seen the staff change over the years, but that has never impacted service. I have always been treated promptly and kindly, and this always guarantees that I will return - at one time or another. I bypass mall locations to come here because of the service that I receive. They are THAT good. This is a beautiful store with so many delightful choices from which to choose. If I want James Avery jewelry, this is the location that I'm driving to, hands down. read more

Texas bases family company that makes wonderful pieces. I have been in love with the charms for over 20 years. Employees are nice. Well lit. Clean. I dropped off a ring that was given to be by my now deceased boyfriend. This is the "My Sunshine" ring which is retiring soon. We got a call stating the band and the sun came apart and they said they couldn't fix it, I asked if there was a way we can make it into custom jewelry & was told yes but it was extra, which is understandable. A week later we get a call that the ring was ready. We pick it up & it was a whole size smaller (sz 5) when we went back to tell them they questioned if I was 100% sure. On top of them replacing my ring with a different size, they SCRAPPED my original ring without my consent. Stephanie the manager said one of her "other managers" made the decision for me.. this was MY property. MY decision to make, I lost my boyfriend and the only thing I had left of him. THEY decided it was better to replace it than to give me back MY PROPERTY. A million times I would have preferred MY ORIGINAL ring instead of a replacement. I called the DM Mr. E. Clayworth, and all he had to say was sorry, that he understands people can get attached to "jewelry" but it wasn't just a piece of jewelry! These people don't care about your property, it means nothing! SO if your jewelry has any sentimental value to it, do not bring it here to get fixed because Stephanie and her staff will toss it and and happily smile in your face with a new replacement and call it "yours". read more

I added to my bracelet with charms for my grands. They did not follow instructions for placement of the charms even after asking where to place them. They have no problem changing them but they want to charge me to move them. It's not the money....it's the principle. I pay for their mistake....go figure. Don't ask for instructions if you're not going to follow them! read more

My boyfriend got me a necklace and earrings set for my birthday. This location is in the small shopping center. Excellent service and awesome staffs!! Carolyn was so kind and helpful when I went to exchange the length of my necklace. She brought me two different lengths to try on. And a mirror. She was so sweet! I finally got the length I wanted and money back. I love that all the products have a lifetime warranty and they will polish for free up to 5 items at any james avery locations. read more
