I don't write reviews often, but this experience genuinely stood out. I came in after accidentally damaging my engagement ring pretty badly. Instead of just taking the repair and moving forward, they took the time to walk me through everything honestly. They explained that while they could fix it, the ring itself was cracked and there was a real chance of ongoing issues down the road. That kind of transparency is rare. It would have been easy for them to take my money and say nothing, but they chose integrity instead. That alone earned my trust. On top of that, they handled another ring for me, polishing and reshaping it, and the turnaround was quick and the result was beautiful. You can tell they care about their work and the people they're helping, not just the transaction. It's not always what you want to hear as a customer, but it's exactly what you need. Super impressed with Westbrooke Jewelers. I had read many good things about this particular jewelry store, but on a whim I decided to stop by for a very specific reason: I have a very old small 8-day clock that decided to quit working. All of my efforts to try to bring it back to life failed. Clock shops said they wouldn't work on it because it's either too old or its mechanism is more like a watch. My regular jeweler (whom I love) does not work on clocks. So, this heirloom with a lot of sentimental value to me sat, inoperative, for well over a year. Since I drive by Westbrooke Jewelers almost on a daily basis, I took a few pictures of the clock and stopped in. I was so hoping that they could do what others wouldn't or couldn't - and sure enough I was told I could bring it in to them! Yippee! Immediately went home, retrieved the clock and came back. I was assured that they'd get it back up and running. And that they did. Yes, it took some time to get it done. And yes, it was not cheap to get this repaired. But, since I own multiple other clocks that have required repairs/rebuilds, I know that any clock repair can cost some good money. The important questions are: was it actually fixed so it's operative; and do they provide a guarantee on their work? When I went to pick it up, Jami was excellent about explaining what repairs were performed. There is a one-year guarantee on all their work, so if something should go awry, I need to bring it back. Perfect! While I was here, I did scope out their merchandise. Gorgeous stuff! If you're in the market for GOOD jewelry, I'd stop by. Life is too short to wear cheap jewelry! Obviously, too, Westbrooke knows how to do a variety of repairs. So pleased that I stopped in and have found a lovely shop with very friendly owners. I saw reviews about family jewelry on Yelp for this place, and they were open later than any other jeweler on that particular day, so I knew this was the place to go to get my wedding set resized. Jeffrey Taylor helped me determine what size my rings should be since I'd lost weight (I went from a 7-3/4 to a 4-3/4!!!!), even telling me I had "dainty little hands." I really appreciated my customer experience there, and when my rings were done a few days later, the woman who helped me found my rings very quickly and handed them right over. 10/10 would recommend. read more

I just got a new watch as a gift and I needed to get it sized. It was a Friday evening around 5:45pm when I realized it needed to be sized. I was going to fight through 1960 traffic to get to Willowbrook mall to go to a jewelry shop that would probably charge me $30-$50 just for a watch size. I google watch repair near me and WestBrooke Jewelers came up and was less than a mile from me. When I arrived the store is so clean, smells good, the jewelry pieces are amazin! oh and of course Jami greeted me with a beautiful smile and was very friendly even though I had my work out clothes on. It was the end of the day and Jeffrey the jewelry repair person took me quickly and knew just how many links to remove. If you need any repairs to broken jewelry they can repair it. Im definitely going back because I saw a ladies Rolex watch that would look great on my wrist. They have a beautiful selection of wedding and anniversary rings. Oh sis I mention they offer layaway. Fantastic service from start to finish!! I was a walk in- needed a ring fixed. Entire staff was great and Jamie fixed my ring to look as it did before I had it re set over a year ago by another jeweler. The first jewelry store made my ring look beyond hideous and due to the way they set it, I was at risk for losing my stone- the setting was beyond high. Quick turn around and a great price! Thank you all so much- I can wear my ring in peace again knowing if i won't lose my stone when it gets caught on something or if I bang it!!! Love it!!!! Found them on Google when I was looking for a shop to fix a broken crown on one of my watches and while I was there overheard a gentlemen speaking to the owner about what an absolutely amazing job they did on his watch. I immediately went home and grabbed my father's old Timex that hasn't been functional in 10 years and brought it back up to the shop to add to my order with my other watch. Not only did they get it working, but BOTH watches were ready for pickup in only a few days time. I will DEFINITELY be back for any and all watch maintenance and repair needs as well as any jewelry I may need to buy.
