The fact that I am so late in getting this review out serves as a COMPLETE POSITIVE note to Austin and his professional team who did their magic TWICE in our back and front yard because I have been spending soooo much more time out back enjoying all that they did in our backyard in ONE Day!!! Day One- Our Backyard: I had made inquiries to several other vendors who did not respond. Austin responded the same day, came out, gave us the design we wanted, gave us his quote and the next thing we knew ... our new backyard was done! In one day they removed the old grass and dirt, rototilled, added in a brand new irrigation system, added new soil, and sod. Midday, as they were working the back, my wife and I approached Austin about the terrible condition of our front area. As he had done in the back, he gave us an incredible landscaping design on the spot and a quote, and the very next day they started in on the front! Day Two - Our Frontyard: In less than a full day, they cut down a tree, removed the ivy and weeds, Removed several plants into bins so we could at a later date replant them in our back, laid down landscaping cloth, put down cedar mulch, added new plants, created a beautiful dry riverbed, and added plants! WOW! Two days - Two incredibly wonderful additions to our home. Austin and his team were very easy to work with. They were professional, courteous, and we would have them back in a New York minute. My house was flooding during the crazy rainstorms in late 2021. I needed someone to come out and install drainage all around my foundation on a very tight turnaround. Thankfully, I found Turiace Landscaping. They came out the very next day, dug trenches around my entire house, installed drainage, regraded the areas around the foundation, buried the pipes, and even installed gorgeous river rocks over the whole thing. They also added some vertical pipe so that I could tie my gutter's drainage directly into the system. While they were there they also trimmed my lemon tree, gave me advice about my lime tree's health, and moved a few boulders around to make the yard prettier. Austin Turiace was an absolute professional throughout the entire process. He texted me back immediately when I texted him. He was present on site with the crew the whole day. He made intelligent decisions about what needed to be done to accomplish my goals. I cannot give him a high enough review. I will be hiring him again in the future. read more

My RainBird sprinkler box was on the blink. I reached out to Austin on Yelp. He responded within minutes! I explained my issue and that I thought I needed to replace my RainBird system and re-hook up the 24 zones. He told me to not buy it yet. He said, "I will come over right now and check it out". Contracted for a stamped concrete walkway and irrigation repair. The walkway turned out fine (although cracks appeared almost immediately and they wouldn't come back to see if there was anything that could be done) but the irrigation system promised came up short. I specifically stated I wanted every bush and tree to get water and was told no problem. After the job when I pointed out several deficiencies was told you got 80% and we can't do any better. He did send out the crew to fix a few items but it was like pulling teeth to get them. And he was upset with us I guess because we exhibited some dissatisfaction but since I took him on his offer to get a discount if I paid in full up front, I lost my leverage. So he got his money and we will hire someone else to do the job right. I should have seen the red flags when he presented me with a contract that looked like it was drafted by a 3rd grader. read more

Austin Turiace just finished landscaping our large backyard. He started on Monday and completed it on Friday. We started with lots of rocky ground, and weeds and ended up with sod, decomposed granite patio and fire pit area, decomposed granite pathway, lots of plants, shrubs, trees, and boulders. He did an extensive sprinkler system as well. His crew of workers worked very hard. Austin was at the job site everyday giving direction, checking progress, and making sure everything was going as planned. Our yard is now beautiful and functional, and will be great for entertaining. Great communication. In my search to overhaul our front yard. I called and/or emailed about 6 landscaping contractors. Turiace Landscaping replied within 30 minutes asking me to call Austin the owner. I called and he answered right away. After describing the job, he came out that very evening to discuss it with me. I was impressed, because every other company told me that they either couldn't take on anymore work, couldn't come out to see the job for weeks or couldn't start the job for months. Austin offered valuable design input during our discussion of our vision for the landscape. He has a lot of knowledge, and you can tell he's got it figured out in his mind. Austin just completed a two day job for us. It included the construction of two rock-lined drainage creek beds and catch basins ending in underground drains, recontouring parts of the yard to repair damage from a recent storm, spreading two truckloads of cedar bark, and other pruning and cleanup work. Austin and his guys did an outstanding job putting in a row of redwood trees to create some privacy down the side of our property. They tied into our existing sprinkler system, placed drip lines to each tree and added numerous boulders to complete the look. The job was completed efficiently and clean up was great.
