This review is long overdue but avoid coming here at all costs. Went to get a reverse synchro replaced, when I picked up my Evo8 they put a rev limiter to "help break in the transmission." When asked to remove it he said it he couldn't put my original map back and it needs to be retuned. Long story short, I fell for the positive reviews, along with thinking he and his wife were good people, so I let him "retune" my car which was a mistake since he ended up destroying my motor. I got my car back barely running and when I tried to go back for answers I was avoided at all costs. Take this as a warning and just don't. Don't let the positive reviews fool you. (if he or she replies to this saying they have no record of me being there, it's because they threw the record away.) Again just don't. read more

Hey ladies and gentlemen, I just had to leave a review, today I came in for a scheduled tune for my Evo 10 had some issues with my vacuum lines usually some shops charge,but the guys here did a good gesture by fixing my vacuum lines and didn't even charge me, I mean, Man, the customer service and the technicians in the back are real respectful!!! And I would like to also add that I brought my two kids with me and in the lobby room, they have toys for the kids to play with while they were tuning my vehicle they brought complementary water and anything else I My kids were also able to use the restroom when they needed to go. I bought a wrx off of them with a new motor, and once the motor was broken in, I had Alfred tune it since it had a downpipe from a previous owner already on the car. Alfred was able to make my car run beautifully, smooth and with plenty of power. I reached out to TT amongst other SoCal tuners back in August 2020. Alfred was the only one who responded with an actual interest in the build. At first it was via Yelp, then email, then on the phone. I made the actual dyno appointment in October 2020 because I had to pull the motor for a rear main seal and separator plate leak. The wait time was about 7 weeks to December 22. When December 22 came around I had to decline the appointment due to the covid spike after Thanksgiving. Jen and Alfred understood, and rescheduled my appointment to February 3, 2021. Dyno day was nerve-racking as usual but after ironing out some Accessport connectivity issues the tuning began. A week has passed and I got some decent seat time in today. The car runs great. I even got a follow up email from Alfred which shows he cares for his patrons, not just their wallets. I'm sure everyone who knows "cars" and imports already have their favorite import shop, but if you don't or want to find a really good shop with an all-wheel dyno and great service, I think this is definitely the place! I moved here 5 months ago with a very "jacked up" Subaru WRX, clutch was totally gone and everything was loose as a goose in the engine. I found these Evo (Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution) experts through a co-worker at work who owns a mean Evo. He said that this place was by FAR the best in SoCal, so I had to give them a try. I made an appointment for that week to fix my clutch (which is almost impossible in LA) and showed up at the shop and found myself surrounded by about 15 Evos(which is really intimadating if you know about the STI vs. Evo rivalry), but they were all very nice and excited to actually branch out to fix other cars. They have a new shop with two garages and a new all-wheel dyno. I was welcomed by Jenn and Paul who were extremely nice and got to know them pretty fast. They fixed my clutch and resurfaced my clutch with ease and I am very glad I went to them. Great customer service and they did an awesome job. Only bad thing is they are kinda far outside LA. read more

Took my 08 g37 here a few years ago. I barely made an account recently so I thought I would post a review. Alfred is super nice and so is the lady that works in the front office sorry I forgot her name. They're both professional and courteous. My car was Dyno tuned with uprev, Alfred show me the results sheets it's putting down 305 horsepower to the wheels with just headers and a CAI. The tuning session took a little longer than I had expected but that's probably just because he wanted to get things just right. It was a little intimidating taking my humble car with simple bolt ons to a shop that is loaded with fully built evos and STIs. but I felt as if Alfred gave my car just as much love as those other ones. I bought some coilovers not from here but this place is an authorized dealer of the brand I bought. So I figured that I could take it in and maybe they could help me adjust them since I really don't know what I'm doing and it's not riding the way I feel that it should. Anyways I get on the phone with them and I ask if they can help, he asks where I bought them and he told me to call them instead. I told him I haven't tried calling them yet. He asked if I had called the manufacturer. I told him yes but I don't understand what they tell me to do. Again I am new to this type of suspension. He said to just call one of them and they should help you and good luck. Now according to yelp this place is an auto shop and I don't understand why they couldn't help me. I'm not asking for free labor. All he had to say is bring it in we charge this much an hour and I would have been there. Don't expect help from here unless you buy products from here. At least thats how they made me feel. Hopefully the manufacturer doesn't try to send me there cause if they do, they will be hearing a mouthful from me. read more
