I eventually was directed to Mario's Garage and I'm so happy I found this place. As a woman, I'm always on high alert with mechanics taking advantage of me assuming I don't know anything about cars (tbh I don't lol). At Mario's Garage they were honest with me, charged me very reasonable prices, and were very understanding of any financial restraints I had. They spent extra time explaining to me what was going on with my car because I was honest about how little I know about cars. We first went to the local Toyota dealer and got hit with an estimate that was literally thousands more than what we ultimately ended up spending at Sharp's Auto Service. That's how I met Danny, who I later learned is one of the owners along with his cousin Oscar. From the beginning, what stood out was how straightforward and reasonable everything felt. The labor rate was fair, the communication was clear, and instead of pushing one expensive path, Danny took the time to explain different options for replacement parts and what made sense financially. I live in Woodland Hills, and Sharp's is in Oxnard, so this was not exactly around the corner for me. But after that first experience, I felt comfortable enough making the trip because it already felt worth it. After that, I came back with my own 2016 Chevy Volt for an A/C issue. Since that car does not have a traditional belt-driven compressor setup, I knew it was going to take more than generic trial-and-error diagnosis. Danny was patient, methodical, and clearly willing to think through a problem instead of just throwing parts at it. The issue ended up getting solved efficiently, which was a huge relief. One other thing that really stuck with me while I was there: multiple people from the neighborhood stopped by just to say hello to the team at Sharp's. That kind of thing says a lot. You can tell this is one of those local businesses that people genuinely trust and feel connected to. It's not always easy to find a shop that feels honest, competent, fair, and genuinely helpful, but that was absolutely my experience here. I left feeling really grateful that we found them. Shops like this are getting harder and harder to find, and I'll be very happy to keep bringing our cars back to Sharp's, even if it means driving out from Woodland Hills. Highly recommended.

I was recommended louie from precision motor werks from a friend and i wish i wouldve never gone. 1st week i took my truck (monday) they said they were going to conduct tests to see whats wrong and they'll give me a call. I never got a call or a update for a whole week. Called friday and they told me the same thing they told me on monday. 2nd week nothing was done and they still didnt conduct tests. So i decided to just buy a new motor since they "couldnt find the problem" 3rd week i went to check on truck and still nothing was done they said they wanted to save some parts from old engine which i didnt understand since i bought a whole new engine and was a different motor ahaha which makes no sense. 4th week i went and they finally had everything in the truck but didnt have the radiator cleaned and he wanted to keep truck longer he said tuesday truck will be ready 5th week i went on the day they told me truck will be ready and they still told me they needed more time i got fed up and had to pull project out of shop. And after all that my motor missing parts and not functioning correctly. If i can give this shop zero stars i would!! i wouldn't even give this shop my vehicles for a oil change!!!! Well, not only did they take the vehicle for a drive. It was driven to their home in Ventura and parked overnight on their property. It was brought back to the business the following day. Did they think that my friend was not going to find out. That's a liability issue on the Owner of the business. My friend let them know of the disappointment of what they did. They still did not get it. Their rational was that they were testing the vehicle. This will be my last time they will have my friends business. Customers beware of the owners. They are dishonest and lack integrity.

They weren't trying to sell me anything I didn't need. Instead we troubleshooted the problem and got the right solution. The whole process took maybe an hour and I was back to enjoying my weekend again. Don't know what I would have done without these guys.
