It's a professional look leather number just big enough for wallet, cell phones, shoes and a sweater. It seems pretty durable and I'm told the straps are tested up to 250 lbs (though I cant imagine anyone putting anything that heavy on their shoulder!) The sales person helping me was super nice - and funny! It made me feel a LOT better about spending so much on 1 bag. Tumi also has a great return policy and warranty so I feel confident if anything happens, I'll be covered. If it wasn't so darn expensive, I'd invest in some Tumi luggage as well. Tip: This particular store is rather small so the selection may not be the best. I would assume they can order whatever you want, however.

Figuring that the Leather Store would have a bunch of day planners, in I went to peruse their stock. Variety? Plenty of it. But what they don't advertise is that they're a clearing house for discontinued or lightly damaged goods. If you're a bargain shopper, this can be a place with good potential. But as a guy who was looking for something specific and nice to last at least a decade, this wasn't it. Honestly, I was horrified when I bought a folio only to discover that 1) the calendar inserts were from 2006 and 2) that you couldn't order replacements since Tumi discontinued that style of binding. Yeah, non starter man. At least they accepted the refund without much of a fuss (just dour looks and pouting). Only reason they got a star back.

As soon as we start the conversation Jedd has this immediate disinterest in assisting me. When I asked him about what type of tie he would recommend with this suit or if I can wear the suit without a tie, his response is: "That decision should have been made months ago before even buying this suit." Okay...? I don't have a time machine to go back and do that and more importantly YOU ARE THE EXPERT, hence why I made an appointment with you to get your opinon. I brush it off and try on the suit. There is an issue with how the pants fit and when I bring this up to Jedd he replies condescendingly "Well when you make alterations to the pants that's what happens." Not only is this extremely poor customer service by Jedd/ poor people skills- he doesn't account for the fact that such consequences of alterations was never relayed to me. He doesn't try to make the situation any better on his own accord and at this point I am about through with dealing with him and his attitude. The cherry on top was when I asked him to set me up with an appointment for SUNDAY at 1pm (As I was busy on Saturday) with my original Suit Supply consultant (Cedric- who was amazing btw). And instead of scheduling me for Sunday, Jedd carelessly scheduled me for Saturday. A mistake of his I didn't catch until I got home and had to keep calling the store to fix as Cedric didnt even have any availability on Sunday. Thankfully Sunday morning, after my 4th phone call to the store, I was able to get the correct appointment. All in all this was an awful experience and probably my last with Suit Supply. If Suit Supply can't employ folks who have the smallest shred of understanding, empathy, communication than they will continue to lose more and more customers. I have had other folks comment the same about Jedd and his smug attitude, its a shame for a store who's customers deserve better

They were able to resole the original rubber heel with a Vibram heel cap, as well as fix a chip in the leather stack of the heel. They even fixed a small chip on the top of the sole. The heel cap was definitely not the original one - and thats fine - the new Vibram heelcaps are high quality and it looks pretty good. The pricing felt a little arbitrary (and possibly a bit expensive, but I have no point of comparison) but given the quality of the fix, I think it was a fine enough price for me. As a rough reference, the pricing for the fix was around ~10% of the price I paid for the boots. I think I'd probably come here again for other leather or shoe fixes, my first experience was pretty good all around.

This location has a bigger clearance section than the other locations. But the XL+ clearance items are usually sold out. They have sanitizer and the employees were wearing masks properly. Which is a plus during C-19. Also the store had good ventilation and the AC was on which is another plus. The cashier and manager were both very friendly, Highly professional & social. The general crowd is middle class really. Mainly Police, Fire & Military customers. The noise level was normal for a retail store. Mainly adults shopping. No kids really. It's located inside a shopping center so parking is not really a issue. I was asked to pay via Credit Card. So unsure if they aren't taking cash permanently or it was just temporary for that day. I would call before going. Overall A++, Just wish they had more XL+ clearance items. Love 5.11
