I'd rather there be two paths or a circle so I didn't feel like I was backtracking. It was also close to 100 degrees in April, so that was unexpected. There were lots of stores here and I checked out what they had, but nothing caught my fancy that was worthy enough to try and figure out how to pack to get home. That's the bummer while shopping on a trip. These outlets are probably better if you have a particular store in mind or just want to get some steps in while shopping. Or hit the food court (I didn't visit)

Outstanding Staff & Service. Highly recommend…read more I found myself in need of updated western gear for a future event. I called ahead to ensure it was not a wasted trip. I am more than happy with my choice. Selection: multiple well know brands offered. Great selection of boots, belts, and accessories. Traditional as well as modern styles offered. (Note the stingray boots.) Service: outright amazing. Martha was knowledgeable, kind, froendly, and best of all patient. She took her time and made sure that I made the right choice. All the while helping multiple other customers. Amenities: CLEAN RESTROOM!S The staff maintains a well kept area both on the floor and in back. I was very impressed. VALUE & SUPPORT: Although all items i reviewed seemed to be affordably priced I did also take particular noticr that the Company offers military & 1st Responder discounts; which of course are always a welcome sight. Hands down one of the better choices I have made as a consumer recently. Great Job Boot Barn!

Went to get my wife a pair of boots for holiday party, she found a great pair at a decent price. Would give 5 stars but the service just wasn't there. The other thing that's nice about Altar'd State is the house items. They have great gifts for weddings or birthdays. They have pretty picture frames, decorative pillows, candles that smell AMAZING, and various home goods. The dresses are good for occasions or just everyday wear. One of my friends bought a dress for a reunion and I purchased one for just regular wear. As I said earlier, they are a bit pricey so I don't think I'd shop here regularly, but for a special occasion they are good to go to. The other nice thing is it's different from the mall or any other typical clothes store. I believe they have bathing suits as well, but I didn't try any on or purchase any.

On top of that, the store itself was gross -- the front door windows looked like they had dog snot smeared all over them & there were way too many returns just sitting on the shelves. Shawna was not only patient while I (over)explained what I wanted, she put me at ease with her humor and conversation while she sculpted, what I considered to be, a masterpiece! I was ecstatic! I got a new, more flattering, hair style and found a stylist who listens, understands what I need and knows her craft better than anyone I've come across. There's a reason I drive from Lorton to Leesburg to get my hair cut. Because it's WORTH it!
