We were in Skechers at the Columbia Mall location and noticed how busy it was due to it being "tax free week". We were greeted and taken care of by Naikyrah! She was an absolute sweet heart and such a hard worker. We also noticed she was the only one helping other customers. I was comparing three different shoes and in the midst of all that chaos. Naikyrah was kind, patient, and met all our needs. Not only did we appreciate her help finding the right shoe for us to try, she went above and beyond in regards to customer service. My husband and I were so pleased we ended up buying two pairs! NOw Naikyrah was very transparent and let us know one of the pairs of shoes was a return and last item on the shelf kind of deal. I was fine with and when I mentioned that to the manager, Samantha, she was gracious enough to give us an additional discount on top of the promotions that were already going on in the store. Then, on top of that... yes there's more... She asked if I was signed up for their rewards program and made sure I can maximize on all the discounts by applying the rewards that was available for signing up. Samantha went above and beyond to make feel us warm and welcomed as well because even though they were busy, she took her time with us and was 100% engaged! We not only did we get what we were looking for, we were taken care of and never left wondering how long we would have to wait to be taken care of, but both ladies made this experience so wholesome and we feel truly blessed to have met them yesterday!!! She is always helpful to all the customers. She has helped me twice now and i always remember how nice she is. She always know what to do if you are having trouble with your coupon or vouchers. Always ready to help. Now for the store i want to comment regarding the fabric selection. They have some but not a lot but it was hard to find the right fabric to the price i wish they would add more affordable options for it. I am beginner in sewing and i am looking for good fabrics at a good price i saw some price points i like but they have no stock or there was nothing there. Hopefully when i comeback they will have better selection. Also i wish they have price checker, this was such a great feature before or maybe only the Michaels in Rockville had it in the past. It's nice to find treasures from their clearance section but there is no price checker and i have to ask someone on the the floor for the prices. It can be tiring for the employees to be checking all the stuff you want to ask so I don't get any since the clearance prices aren't always accurate or sometimes it has no price.

Another item that I often will buy at 5 below is their incense. The self-checkout is super nice. The only thing is that they have a section in the back that has items over $5. Why call your store 5 below? Some of their items that are priced at $5 would make sense to be priced more at $3 like a small toy car for instance. It seems they default to having the item $5 even when it should be less. The squishmellows that I mentioned earlier were 5.95 instead of just $5 as an example of things not being $5. The pricing was not labeled at all.
