I have always just tried the regular pizza spots. My coworker and I went halves on this order for our going away party. We bought 2 xL pizzas (supreme and pastrami), 2 L pizzas (Hawaiian and veggie), and 3 orders of the 12 piece wings (lemon pepper, Korean pepper, and hot). Total with tax and tip included, roughly 162$. My coworkers said it was delicious, even when I ate it cold. Busting my ass working. The flavors were spot on, not too thick of a crust, small fluffy bite lol. Not exactly sit it dining. Parking availability. I was mildly annoyed when I put my order in for possibly 11 am pickup. Called them at 10:50 AM to see if they received my order. Was told 30 minutes. But I was out by 11:15 ish. Made it to work with 7 minutes to spare. I'm punctual. Other than that, I left happy. Went here tonight.. It was ok.. I liked it a little better then little ceasers.. It wasn't anything extravagant.. I got a deluxe, A pepperoni and a chorizo pizza as well as some wings., well.. Like I said it was just a tad step above little ceasers.. The spicy wings were not spicy at all.. I don't like spicy hot things and I did not taste a hint of spice at all.. They were also very fatty.. If you read my other post I can't stand any kind of fatty meat.. We waited about 25 minutes for our pizza.. We waited long enough for me to walk through the churches chicken drive through, with 3 cars in front of me and order a large mashed potatoes.. And yes I said WALK through the drive through.. Went back to get the pizza and it still wasn't done.. Walked to the store and got a root beer and it still wasn't done yet.. So we just waited inside.. When you walk in its 5 tables.. When u order the cashier is like behind a bullet proof glass.. I guess because it's in the hood.. Yes it is in the hood on the same street as the hoe stroll.. Sooooo.. Yeah.. We order from here all the time, and earlier this week 2 pizzas were completely botched. Asked for green peppers, got 2 pizzas with onions instead. Called back immediately, and of course they were closed. Got in touch with the manager Victor a few days later, and he initially only wanted to replace one pizza because he found it hard to believe that I could eat 2 pizzas on my own. Then he demanded that we return the 2 pizzas from the days prior. I'm sorry, had you answered your phone after drop off I woulda been glad to (for you to then throw it out). But how professional is it to ask your customers how much they do or don't eat, and then make it sound like a favor that you're going to replace YOUR company's screw up. I didn't ask for more. Such a good pizza! I ordered from them through GrubHub after some lame burger place canceled my order because they were too busy! I got pineapple, bbq chicken, and beef and it's up there as one of the best delivery pizzas I've had. Good job Tumby's! Update during COVID: The food is still great! As I was enjoying my delicious pizza I found a strand of hair in my food. ONE OF THE WORST FEELINGS EVER.
